I have added text in a file and it crashed. I have done nothing in a file and eventually it crashed. Please provide an immediate fix for this as I'm working on a deadline. It might help if I can reinstall the previous version in case nothing gets fixed immediately.   OS 10.15.7 iMac Retina 5k 27" 2017 32gb 2400 MHz DDR4

BUG : Photoshop 2020 has broken support for wintab via PSUserConfig.txt !!!UseSystemStylus 0 This has worked perfectly fine up until PS 2019 - Windows ink is a steaming pile of .... and NOT a viable option. (yes, PSUserConfig.txt is in the correct settings folder in Appdata, PS just seems to ignore it) We'll revert to 2019 until this is fixed, since wintab is the only reliable solution for pressure sensitivity on Wacoms with Windows workstations. MAJOR DEALBREAKER - pls look into this asap ! 

When using liquify tool, transparent and corrupted pixels appear on the canvas. When clicking OK, photoshop occasionally crashes.    Big Sur MacMini late 2018 model 8GB RAM  

The symptom is when you go to other app and come back to Photoshop, the canvas becomes blank gray. I have to move some objects or hide/unhide some layers for the screen to come back again.  See the attached you to see what it's like. This is so annoying because we have to use back and forth between apps.  I've tried changed GPU preference (Basic/Advanced and even NO GPU) and re-started photoshop but it didn't solve at all. So I think it's not about the GPU setting. Finally, I find a solution but it's not actually practical but it worked. I noticed that it happened to some artworks that has Artboards so i tried to clear all artboards inside that artwork. The symptom is gone (not entirely but it happens less) To Adobe, please fix ASAP. We need to use Artboards. To fellow users, if you have better solutions, please share.Now I've downgraded to 21.12 because I cannot stand this bug. Hi everybody, I changed to Photoshop 2021 recently and now I have the following issue: - I create a layer with text in one color, for example white - I convert the layer to shape - The coverted text has an unwanted black outline  Somebody has an idea how to change this? Square (JPEG-like) artifacts are produced when images are enlarged by "Bicubic (smooth gradients)" interpolation. Their size depends on the size of the enlargement of image. If the enlargement is N*100% the artifacts have a size of NxN px, where N = 3,4,5, etc. If the enlargement is too large (1000% for example) artifacts will be lost in the blurry image. A good enlargement for observing artifacts is 400%. Artifacts are produced in both RGB and Grayscale mode.   (Resizing was done in Photoshop 22.0.1, but artifacts can also be observed in earlier versions of Photoshop.)     Other software that uses bicubic interpolation to enlarge images (Wolfram Mathematica or Affinity Photo) does not produce such artifacts (see below). In fact, there is minimal difference between Wolfram Mathematica's output and Affinity Photo.         Artifacts are not visible when "Bicubic Smoother (enlargement)" is used when enlarging images. Hello,since the last update, almost every time I click on the New Layer and/or New Group buttons in the Layers panel, the buttons become stuck and unusable. I have to restart Photoshop to reset their state.Not game breaking but definitely annoying.Regards

The new Photoshop 2019 "Export As" adds the suffix to the file name even though it has been deleted. The 2018 version would have a grayed out "none" in the Suffix box when I deleted it and then export the file name as it was.

I have been having this issue for several months now and I am not alone. If I try to print files created in older versions of PS then when I click "Print" PS either shuts down completely or if the file is very old it just freezes. I can print files created in the most recent versions fine. I have used the workaround suggested on many forums and by ADOBE themselves which is to create a "clean" preferences file on opening PS. However this only works for this session and if I close PS down and re-open it the issue still exists. Can ADOBE please address this issue as I have numerous presets in my preferences and cannot afford the time to keep re-setting them every time I wish to print an older file. I use templates a lot so I take an original file possibly created 2-3 years ago as a PSD and make adjustments to it on an ongoing basis and save it as a JPG for immediate customer use and it still will not print. Just updated Ps to v22 and it's even more buggy than v21. I've been using Ps 2019, deleted Ps 2020 because it could't work correctly with layers. Now they made Shape tool buggy and messy, I couldn't edit anchors as usual and was not able to draw a shape line, it just dissapeared. I'm using Ps since v5.0 and was always happy with updates, but v21 and v22 are just a disaster.

When I am working in Photoshop, and go to the Finder, theopen Photoshop window still stays visible (but not the tools or any of the openpalates), blocking most of the open Finder/Desktop windows, except that thelast selected open Finder window stays on top (which usually means the one thatcontains the last image I opened). So, when switching from Photoshop to Finder,I see one open Finder window, on top of open Photoshop document, on top of allother Finder windows (which means I can’t see much of them).If I have no document open in Photoshop, the Home window doesnot do this. If I option click on Finder, Photoshop disappears as expected.It also hogs the screen when going from Photoshop to Word,Outlook, Stickies, Preview, Chrome, Firefox, etc. Using an iMac 5K, 27”, late2015, macOS 11.13.6.I had this issue on previous versions of Photoshop, and withCC 21.2.0 it is still there.

Hello!I first encountered this bug in the 30th anniversary version. I often retouch images using what I call a texture brush - a speckled pattern brush that is achieved by the Dual Brush option set to Multiply blending mode.A bug was introduced in the 30th anniversary version, where the edges of the canvas were "protected", as in nothing was being applied to them, in relation to the brush size. Use a small brush, and only a tiny sliver of the edge cannot be touched. Use a very large brush, and you cannot have an effect over a larger area near the edge.I uploaded a short video to youtube as a demonstration:   This bug has been reproduced by many other individuals using Dual Brush Clone Stamps on a variety of systems. I've grouped a few layers and  added a mask to this group. On top of that mask I've placed an adjustment layer. When I am masking/brushing out parts of that groupmask, I get hard right angular edges and no smooth blending like it used to be. As soon as I zoom in, the edges are gone. Switched of the GPU acceleration, restart PS, same problem. Working on WIN10 and updated PS to the last version. Came from PS 2018, no problem over there.

Hi,   I guess this is a bug report. I've been experimenting with the Neural filters since launch and had a bit of fun with them. However, while restoring an old photo I've come across one that appears to prevent the Neural filters window from loading (it seemingly loads forever resulting in me having to force close Photoshop).   Seems bizarre but I've been able to replicate this again and again with this photo, and it's the only photo where I have encountered this problem. Really not sure why this is happening as the other photos that have been working great for me are the same age/style as this one. It might be good to have a timeout for the Neural Loading screen I think. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this as well. After adding 4-5 sky images in a new group, PS freezes on the next addition. Had to force quit it. All the sky images were in a TIF format exported from LR.   This is on a new iMac running Catalina.

Hi Im having an issue, where in Photoshop 2020 (macOS Mojave 10.14.6) Save For Web is not working for certain files with slices (or nested smart objects).Ive tried different approaches and somehow couldt find a solution to this, unless have 2 options of Photoshop installed (2019 works fine)please advise what this could be (my co-workers are having same issue)

Hi!On latest two versions of Photoshop, there's a problem with pre-saved XMP-files. They appear in alphabethical order in Library - in XMP -subfolder, but when you open the File Info, the list is in mixed order. In other words, a big mess.Didn't find any solution for this. It's not a big problem, but really annoyning when you're fixing loads of pictures with different metadata.Fixing or help needed:)!P.S.Remote support didn't find any solution and thought that it's a bug.-Tommi-

Hi everyone,   I have a problem with Photoshop 2021. The length of the color list in the swatches is really big.     It wasn't that big before, and even on my large screen, it now just takes all the place.     I really need to have all my colors at a time instead of clicking to get them out, get them in, get them out…   Thank you in advance    

I use switching between images using Command ~ shortcut in the Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar, or Full Screen Mode to compare the changes I've done between 2 versions of an image.This isn't working on 21.1.0 on the new Mac Pro. When in Full Screen Mode (with or without Menu Bar), once I switch between 2 images twice, regardless if I select them in the menu or press Command ~ the image shifts to the left half of the screen and the rest of the screen is black.Screengrab attached, the pixellated thing is sample image. It's not showing anything in the black area.The only way to get rid of this problem is to untick 'Use Graphics Processor' in Performance, which obviously I don't want to do. I own a MacBook Pro 16 inch 2019 with a AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8GB card and 16 GBs of Ram memory. Mac OS Catalina. 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9. 1 TB SSD.   Whenever I'm using a Sidecar display (iPad) with Dimension, it doesn't recognize the AND card and states that the application is unable to run. If I turn off Sidecar, it works correctly. I need it to work with sidecar in order to use two monitors.   Also   Whenever I'm using a Sidecar display (iPad) with Photoshop, the image inside Photoshop's canvas is clipped and will not be displayed correctly until I turn off Sidecar and restart Photoshop. I need it to work with sidecar in order to use two monitors.

A value between -213.33 inch and 213.33 Inches is required. Closest value inserted.   I'm using Photoshop 22.0.0 but I see that other versions are having the same issue with regard to limiting values. When I try to move an object by entering a value in Properties, I get the message above. However, I can drag the object beyond those values and I can also place guides outside those values using "New Guide".   My next issue is this: Why would customer support for products as frequently used as Adobe's be CLOSED on weekends???   Lastly:  WARNING! WHEN I TRY TO SELECT FROM THE LIST PROVIDED UNDER "TAGS" ON THE POSTING PAGE, THE SCREEN GETS STUCK. THE "CLOSE" OPTION IS UNRESPONSIVE, SO I HAD TO CLICK THE BROWSER "BACK" BUTTON TO LEAVE THE PAGE CAUSING ME TO LOSE ALL THE INFORMATION I ENTERED INTO THE "DESCRIPTION" BOX.

Hi,I'm experiencing this issue within Photoshop CC 2018/2019:1/ I create guides around smart object.2/ When setting up Perspective Warp grid, I position perspective grid corners at the smart object corners with the help of snap to guides.The result is Program Error and even the Perspective Warp hes been applied, I cannot do anything and even cannot save the file because of program error message. I have to delete smart object to be able to save the file and continue to work. I got this issue on Windows and OS Mojave.The latest 20.0.7 update did not solve this.

I have a 37 sec, 1080p, 60fps video that I applied smart filter on with liquify settings. My pc spec: ryzen 9 3900x, rtx 2060 6GB, 64gb ram.    When export/rendering it after a while it crashes. As for now, I have latest photoshop and nvidia drivers. It also crashes on my second computer.   BTW, I don't have E: disk, so no idea what that error refers to.   It doesn't crash when I just export the video without liquify.

i keep getting this message when i try to do anything in photoshop a second time what i mean is when first opened photoshop works when i close the first image the go to do anything else i get the message: Could not complete your request because of a program error.i have uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop cc but no difference i have taken a couple of screen shots which i hope will give you more information i hope you can solve this problem as i am at my wits end
