Bug Reports

This isn't really a bug, but more an issue with a change that was made. I like the new audio dissolve on the timeline. But I find when I go to adjust the timing of it, it is near impossible to adjust without hitting the volume white line and end up changing that. Sure, I can turn off the white line, but I like to be able to add keyframes and adjust those within the sequence. If you could make the box for the audio dissolve the full height of the track, that would help. Of course that means you'd need to make the other stuff that appears at the top of the track responsive to shove over when you have a dissolve in place. Or maybe you could put the handles boxes for the audio dissolve on the bottom of the box to be able to adjust it. I also find it near impossible to select it by double clicking to change the dissolve length manually.

Ich nutze das Tool "Sprache verbessern" und innerhalb von Premiere Pro funktioniert es super. Aber sobald ich die Sequenz render, dann klingt der Sound unverändert, so als hätte ich "Sprache verbessern" nicht benutzt. Was muss ich hier beachten?

On Media Browser I was selecting a song for the video, but only the first one plays, the other waveforms appear but do not play anything after it, even the open project.

I don't know what to do anymore, sometimes some of my audio starts to crackle/shake (?) causing me to have to correct the pre-recorded voiceovers several times. I am using the latest version of Premiere Pro Beta 2024. Most of the recording is good, there are some errors here and there.The problem only occurs when I record in Premiere Pro Beta.What can I do about it? What to test in the settings? Thanks for your help, I am helpless already.

In 24.4.0 Beta Build 1, Windows: Can't select text in a multi-line graphic. I need to change the date on the title shown. If I click on the bottom line, the cursor defaults to the top line.  Can't use arrows to select lower lines. Arrows won't move cursor to the far right. Clicking and dragging selects all lines (see screen shot).  Can't edit text in the Essential Graphics panel.  Can edit text in the Text panel.  

I  hope I am not the only one that has seen this.  Drag a video file into premiere pro and drop it on the timeline, and ther eis no audio.  It generates a peak file, but it doesnt appear, and playing it has no sound.

Not sure what happened but I am unabel to highlight a single line of text. When I try to select text using the text tool it highlights all lines in t he text box, rather than the single line/word I am tring to select. It is also treating colors very weird and will nto let me only select certain words to color, it is colorizing an area within the text box. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?  

Hi, I'm trying to change the colour for just one specific part of the text but, when I try to highlight it, it hightlights the whole thing.

I have my layout set the way I want it and I chose to save current changes. The next time I load Premiere things will be off. A lot of times the project pane will be in a different location and panes will be sized differently. Even if I choose to revert back to the saved layout it won't put it back the way I saved it.

I took this out again, but when I started messing with it, the program kept getting stuck, it froze, when I scrolled away again, it freezes again, then it works fine again, then it freezes again.Have you encountered this error phenomenon?No error message.But when I start working on a new project, the program works perfectly fine.This did not happen in the BETA version, but in the previous version.Thank you in advance for your help.Alex

The title tool is really buggy in PR 24.4.0.1.I attach a video in which the title tool behaves in a really weird way. Lines and words cannot be selected, they get deleted accidentally, the tool is completely unable to work properly. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.4.0.1    OS: macOS v13.6.3, RAM: 128,00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 32

 v24.4.01 Win 11 I5 Was working all morning and I decided to do a restart as i needed to clear memory. Restarted multiple times now and Prem Beta is unusable. Slow, won't redraw panels, not responding, won't play audio (no meters either) but shows waveform. Been experiencing lots of Audipo Waveform redraw failures in recent versions, but this is now totally unusable.

Hi all,  Many of you must have run into this maddeningly specific bug - Whenever I splice a clip and the text panel is open with something typed into the transcript search bar, my CTI will jump ahead randomly in the timeline. Something to do with the transcript scanning for terms as the same clips are cut, but I haven't found any good solve for it outside of either closing the text panel or clearing the transcript search bar, both of which I'd be using.  To make it all the more persistent, the search criteria in the transcript search bar carries over across all open sequences, so one must type - delete - and retype if going back and forth between sequences. Would love to see this little quirk fixed or a good solve, PP 24.3.0 Thanks,  Sam 

If i change my windows in premiere and safe it as a new work space it doesn´t open it correctly on the next start. the e.g. project window is always somewhere else than i saved its location.

Edited 2/26/24 - Added "In source view" to Title I have concluded that this is not a bug, but as intended. The Delete (toggle) button does not appear for Source transcription. It does for Sequences with Source or Static transcriptions. So, while I normally drag/drop footage from an Explorer window, I decided to try using the other import features.1. Click on bin to start import.2. It brings up an Explorer window to find footage.3. Select folders to impoort.Result > Can't import folders. Can only import files. So I decided to try the Import tab from the main interface.1. Click Import2. Select drive and display folders to import.3. Select folders.Result > Import button does not light up. BUT All of a sudden I hear my array churning, and the machine gets really slow. Look at task manager and Premier is using RAM like it's going out of style.  I was able to close Premier without crashing, but no clue what happened there. Back to drag/drop from Explorer. 24.4.0. Beta (Build 1)  Windows 11 Pro

Is it normal behavior that after the enhanced speech is applied on the clip in the timeline, if you try to adjust the sync of the audio, let's say, move just the audio track a few frames forward or backward, the enhanced speech is reset, and it needs to be analyzed again. Undoing the audio track move will not bring the already analyzed enhanced speech back. Is that how it should be?

Did anyone else's labels just reset to all being one color? I had everything organized on a timeline I'm working on, and they just all turned to one color. Like it over-rided what I'd labeled clips and made them follow the defaults based on media type. PR updated this morning to 24.3.0 (build 43)Mac OS Sonoma 14.3.1 

Works as expected. It imports into the project but at same time AME opens and showing the exported frame    

If I hover over a clip in the timeline in PPro, a thing pops up to tell me about the clip's duration, in point, etc. Nice.If I then alt-tab to AE, the pop-up remains stubbornly there instead of disappearing.

If I'm using GPU acceleration, and turn on Transparency Grid in the Program viewer, the transparency grid is always scaled to "fit", regardless of what the zoom level actually is, like this:If I switch to "software only" in the project settings, I get this, correct view:I shall update my Nvidia drivers later - I'm currently on 551.52. 551.61 is the latest available driver. 

Hi Team,I'm working with a multi-camera sett up, and when I click and change any of the options in the Effects Controls pannel on the CLip that I'm working on, all the options desapiere.... PUFFF!!! To get all the options back, I need to click into another Clip, wich then it makes all the options on the Effects Control Panel to apperare again..... then, I go back to the Clip that I was working on.... This happen using the Lumitri Color inside the Effects Control too......As you can imaging this is VERY ANOING!!!! HelloUn the few latest versions of PP beta, the masking have some problemsFirst off, when you already have a mask set in place, the option to select multiple points by dragging the mouse area marker isnt workign at all. the mouse does change to the marking icon, but no square is painted and no mask points are being selected. second, selecting a specific point is buggy, if i want to select a point to drag it, it automatically enables the Bazier to the point (like i was holding ALT, but im not holding it), and even trying then to move or disable it usually ust moves a handle instead of the point. just after having the handles far from the point i can actually move it, then i need to alt click it to cancle the bezier/curve mode of the point.makes it REALY HARD to work with masks
