Every time I try and assign a number as a keyboard shortcut it doesn't get saved.
Steps to reproduce:1.Create a sequence2. Put some things in it3. Note the duration of the sequence Result:In the Project panel, the Media Duration column ALWAYS shows it as 12 hours long. Which it probably isn't. I have a bunch of 5 and 6 second sequences in my project panel, and PPro thinks they's all 12 hours long.Expected:The 'Media Duration' should display the duration of the media, not a silly number. It displays the correct duration of imported items (eg. .movs etc). System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.4.0.34 OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 63.94 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 12
note media start / media end and duration - same clips.result seems to be affecting timecode sync as well as how source monitor identifies the duration, playback and scrubbing. In Premiere 23.1.0 (build 86) in premiere 23.4.0.30 beta Windows 11Intel i9 9900K 32GB RamGYGABYTE Designare rev 1.0
Media being imported as 12 hour clip. All clips regardless of actual duration is being imported as 11:59:16:20 duration. Tried unlinking and re-linking and deleting media cache, but no such luck. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.4.0.47 OS: Windows v10.0.22621, RAM: 127.87 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 48
One of those things thats hard to diagnose becasue it seems to happen at random. I have a dump file but its 30GB I'll see if I can compress and upload.
None of the extension panels I have will load, including frame.io (which is an embedded extension panel, accessed by window->review with frame.io)
When I am creating active transcripts of a sequence that has multiple clips, several times (not always) I have noticed that the final clip does not complete its transcription. I have to load into source viewer and retranscribe the asset.NOTE: existing sequence transcripts are in place so this happens when replacing with an active transcript.Pr Ver: 23.4.0 Build 43Mac OS: 12.6.4 (21G526)MBPro 2017 16-inch
Premiere Beta 23.4 will not open my projects. It crashes before they can load. I had to revert back to version 23.3.
Today's update, 23.4.0, Build 44, has broken the Review Panel. It just displays as a blank panel. Switching to CPU only changes nothing, clearing media cache, i.e. nothing. It was working fine in the last build.
Premiere Pro 23.1.0 (Build 86) macOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68) Hot keys are not working in any window thats not the main premiere window. Even basic ones like space bar for play back. I don't know how to explain the problem more plainly. I haven't found any solutions online and its incredibly frustrating because I work in two moniters.
System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.4.0.43 OS: macOS v13.3.0, RAM: 32,00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16 Ventura 13.3 During work, it can happen at any moment (I could not detect any recurring situation), everything (software and mac) freezes. After about 2-3 minutes the system restarts. Some times during Premiere restarting, a GPU initialization occurs.I gave a try with Beta version but the isuue persist. I haven't any problem like this with other software I use (After effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other).
Premiere Pro 23.4.0.37Windows 11To reproduce: set hot key "1" to minimize all tracks (setting only one is not enough it maintains the setting if its only one key that is changed), set another hotkey "2" to increase audio track height, set "3" to increase video track height -- should be enough.click save. Currently the new set hotkeys won't work, and if you go back to hotkey editor, they would be vanished also from it.
My keyboard shortcuts aren't saving. When I make a change and click save as and try to overwrite my keyboard file it reverts and close the dialog it reverts to the last keyboard shortcut file. If I make a change without saving it sticks, but the keyboard shortcut file is not written. I have quite a well speced machine. 64G of Memory i9 9900 processor, RTX2080 Graphics card. I'm doing a multicam edit using text based editing as well as image based. The 4K footage is of a two person interview shot on three Sony AX53s all synced (in post) to external mic tracks. I will be working along, happy as I can be, able to cut back and forth in real time (or with a slight lag) when suddenly all the controls become useless, both keyboard and mouse. I can't cut between angles any more and the timeline won't stop running. This will go on for as long as 15 seconds before the timeline stops running. Occasionally the text window will not recover and the text will not come back. Your innovations (regarding text based editing and multicam) are really wonderful and make such sense and work well 80-90% of the time. But that buggy 20% and working through it all to get back on track, emptying the cache, restarting the program or my whole machine, as well as the possibility of losing p
Steps to reproduce:1. In a sequence, add some transitions each side of a clip.2. Right-click it, and do "replace with AE comp". ResultSee how the resulting comp is only the duration of the clip without 'handles', and the incoming/outgoing transitions are removedExpected:PPro should retain the transitions, take these into account, and create the AE comp to be the duration of the clip PLUS the duration of the transitions. And retain the transitions. It'd also be nice to have the option to add additional handles on each end of the clip (say, 10 frames or so - settable in the prefs) to give me some flexibilty in adjusting the transitions in future. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.4.0.37 OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 63.94 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 12
23.4.0 BETA (Build 37) Macbook ProMacOS 13.2.1 (22D68) I tried twice with the same results I finished my rough cut and made a transcript. Then I made captions. This revealed that one of the speakers is missing from the transcript some of the time. In the attached image, you can see that both speakers have captions some of the time and that sometimes one is missing. The warning is for a caption that is too big for its bounding box. This is not the case, however.
So I encountered an odd thing. I do a monthly edit of a project and I bring in an old timeline, copy it and then clear the images to put in a new one, leaving titles alone. This week, with this current Beta build, the wrong (default) font appeared in all the graphics. I opened an older project to see if it did the same, and it did. The wrong font was in all graphics. Since I couldn't remember the font name, I opened up the release version of Premier on an older project and the font was correct. I made a note of the font name, then went back to the beta build and the opened the current project. The fonts were correct!!! It's like something in the older version needed to register with Windows to show the correct fonts. The font in question is Lato, which I think is an Adobe font. Steps to reproduce:1. Open project in beta build v23.4.0.34 Result: Wrong font is displayed on Graphics.Expected: Correct font to be displayed Workar
-Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta) Version 23.4.0 BETA (Build 33)-Microsoft Windows Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2728) Sometimes I put all clips in a sequence and use as my RAW source. This helps when I have 100's of clips and I can type exact timecodes to find sound bites easier. Now, the source window duration is automatically 12:00:00:01.Whereas the program window duration acurately displays the duration of all my clips.(Screengrab Attached w/yellow arrows)This is a problem because while scrolling through my raw video in the source window, the majority is black video. Hours of black video.
I have to select a clip multiple times before the effect controls appear.
When importing files, Premiere incorrectly reports the duration as 12 hours, regardless of the file's actual duration.Steps to reproduce: 1. Import any file.Result: File duration is incorrectly determined as 12:00:00:00Expected: Duration should reflect the file's actual duration. In this case, 00:46:57:22 System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.4.0.30 OS: macOS v13.2.1, RAM: 64.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 10
when you change the audio input settings in preferences> audio hardware, to no inputThis change is not saved with close down of Premiere. steps, change input in prefs> audiohardware settingsrestart Premiereresult audio settings are back to original state (build 23.4.0 (17))
Ich kann in der neuen Premiere Pro BETA Version den LUMETRI Filter nicht nutzen.Es passiert nichts am Bild wenn ich dort Änderungen mache. Auch bei der Ausgabe wird das ursprüngliche Bild gezeigt. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.4.0.28 OS: macOS v13.2.1, RAM: 64,00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 10
Appears to be #FIXED in v23.4.0 build 33-----v23.4.0.27 Mac OS Monterrey 12.5Basic steps to reproduce the problem1. Create new project2. Import File3. Make Offline (leave on disk)4. Link Media5. Check (or uncheck) 'File Name' checkbox Expected result and actual result:Would expect the box to be ticked/unticked - however app instantly crashes when attempting to tick the box. (Works fine in v23.2)NB I tried resetting prefs / media cache / plugins etc, no effect - does reset the relink page but unchecking the file name has the same effect.* video capturing the issue - attached
There were a number of bugs in Lumentri scopes (scope wobbling, whole scope shiffted up from the bottom of the window) that were fixed so I know you are workign on it. But, what is happening now is the low end is shifted up 10 such that adjusting of the rgb curvs down (low end crushes at 10 vs. zero. I deliver all content in HDR and try to maximize the thre range of the signal when possible for underwater cinematography. This offset is frustrating. I was trying to get off the beta but 23.2 that went out had so many of these problems on Lumetri Scopes that I had to stay on the beta. I hope you can fix this one soon. It would seem to be a simple fix due to how obvious it is.
I noticed thatin the latest version of Premiere Pro the preferences settings are opening and closing very slow. steps, open a simple projectgoto edit>> preferencesNote how long it takes before the panel opens, it takes about 10 seconds on my system...
