How to Report a Bug in the Adobe App Community Run into something that’s not working the way it should in Photoshop? Let’s tackle it together. When you share bugs in the Adobe Community, you’re helping product teams see what’s really happening, recreate the issue, and fix things faster. Think of this guide as your sidekick—it’ll walk you through creating a clear, helpful bug report, no technical expertise needed. Before you startBefore jumping in with a new bug report, take a quick look around the community to see if someone’s already spotted the same issue. If you find a matching post, add your vote and feel free to add your experience there instead of starting from scratch. It keeps everything in one place and helps the team connect the dots and solve things faster. Note: Any duplicate posts will be merged into a primary post that you can follow for updates on the issue. Brushes suddenly stop working properly with blending modes. No matter what mode is selected its always paint flat color.
Since the recent update, I’m having a lot of issues with masks. When I create a new mask (example a linear gradient mask) some of the sliders have already been adjusted. I have the ‘Reset sliders automatically’ box checked. Additionally, sometimes I am adjusting the sliders for a mask and the change is not being applied to the image (like if I change the exposure slider the selected area does not get brighter/darker). Finally, if I right click on a mask » Delete » nothing happens and the mask isn’t deleted. Is this a known issue? Any tips on how to resolve this please?I am using Lightroom version 9.4 and Windows 11.
Have been editing a batch of photographs today. I have been using AI Sharpen and AI DeNoise (Topaz) without issue. I received a msg stating I was running low on credits, so I purchased a monthly sub. I was able to use these functions a couple more times - but now, each time, no matter the file, I am receiving an error that reads: “We are unable to complete your request at this time. Please try again.” I have closed and restarted PS and other apps, signed out of and back into my Creative Cloud acct, and tried toggling the Pref->Performance→Graphics Processor option (suggested online). I also cleared the plug in cache and restarted - no effect. No luck. Stuck. Would greatly appreciate some guidance / assistance. Thx!
I'm selecting an area of an image in a project with the rectangle marquee tool, I click edit and CUT is not a highlighted option. I want to remove a piece of the jpeg image.
I have had a Creative Cloud CC plan for years. This morning when I opened my app and clicked on Photoshop it began to open but then disappeared. I rebooted my computer. I tried every possible fix. I tried the Repair option. Nothing works. Now what do I do?
When I am using Adobe Photoshop on the web, the color wheel is always off screen with no way to center it. This makes choosing anything from the right side of the color wheel impossible. Ive tried minimizing my screen or dragging it, but its locked in one fixed part of the screen and wont move. The first color circle is cut off slightly, making easier to navigate but the second circle is always cut off. As you can see I can only access cool colors, the rest cant even be scrolled to. PLEASE, fix this issue. I love the web version of Adobe for its quickness, but this is kinda killing the need to use it. It isnt just with Duotone but basically any effect where you can change the color of the effect.
Hello, I've found a possible spelling error in the Spanish version of the Photoshop app and wanted to report it so it can be fixed. This error appears in the FEATURED section and says "explore lo mejro de Photoshop" instead of "lo mejor".Al momento de abrir la aplicación en Photoshop en la parte de Destacados existe un error ortográfico, debería decir lo mejor

One particular font on my system (Highway Gothic) suddenly has a bug on Photoshop. I’ve used it daily for 2 years and it continues to work without issue on other applications (including Adobe Animate). On Photoshop, this particular font resizes the text cursor so ridiculously large it’s unusable. This began last week randomly. See the attached screenshot – default settings, 6 pt at 300 DPI, the cursor is more than double the size of the canvas. Have tried deleting/reinstalling the font, deleting Photoshop’s font cache, the settings file, updating, resetting the character panel, and restarting my computer. I can’t get this font to go back to working normally.
instead of preserving the document size. When using File → Save a Copy… → Photoshop PDF, an A3 Photoshop document is exported as a PDF with a US Letter MediaBox (215.9 × 279.4 mm) instead of the original A3 page size (297 × 420 mm). The exported PDF is cropped accordingly. The issue has been reproduced on multiple Windows on ARM devices using the native ARM version of Photoshop and has persisted across several Photoshop releases.
Hi everyone,I’m working on an animation in Photoshop 2026.When I go to File > Export > Render Video and click Render Video, the export window never appears.Appears a loading bar but it never ends. There is no error message or warning. Nothing happens, and I can’t access the export settings.I’ve already tried restarting Photoshop, but the issue persists.Has anyone else experienced this?I’m running Photoshop on rosetta and normal way and even not works. If I run Photoshop 2026 on Rosetta mode, I can’t create Video empty layer too...I have to use Photoshop 2021 to work and it’s confusing but in this version all works.Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My photoshop will not open. Plus it will not let me take out photo from lightroom classic and move to Photoshop. The computer and graphics are all up to date. This has worked for years and now nothing.
Photoshop 2025 bug: auto numbering in lists using text tool causes file corruptionI have identified a bug. I noticed that a new feature was when you use the text tool and type1. text 2. text 3. text this triggers auto numbering. Well it took me four hours to figure out this is what was currupting my files and it is very repeatable When you try to reopen the file, it says a problem wont allow it. The auto numbering in text tool had been working ok without file corruption until very recently. If I paste a list in text tool with numbers alread in place, it corrupts the file if I start inserting numbers before a list in the text tool, it corrupts my work around is this: I type or paste this: text text text to create a numbered list i do this: t1. ext t2. ext t3. ext than i backspace to remove the first letter to create my desire: 1. text 2. text 3. test the auto numbering feature either needs to be removed or fixed under
Hi everyone, I would like to report this explicitly as a bug report, and I kindly ask that it not be moved to the Questions section again. The behavior is reproducible in my setup and appears to involve the interaction between Photoshop 27.6, Windows Ink, the Remove Tool, and assigned Wacom pen side switches. Short description In Photoshop 27.6, using the Remove Tool repeatedly causes a massive memory increase. Photoshop then becomes unresponsive for a while and eventually shows the error message: “The operation could not be completed because there is not enough RAM.” In my tests, this happens when using the Wacom pen, but not when performing the same Remove Tool actions with the mouse. Key findingI ran several comparison tests with the same file while monitoring Windows Task Manager. Test 1 – Remove Tool with mouse inputPhotoshop 27.6 Windows Ink enabled Remove Tool input with the mouse 46 Remove Tool strokes no freeze no RAM errorMemory usage increases somewhat, but remains controlle
selection and deletion of objects are done on the device or in the cloud, but the device has not been working for six months, so I use the cloud version. However, now the cloud version starts the search slider, and after a couple of seconds, it displays that no objects have been found
Since updating to 27.5 yesterday I’m encountering a bug where when I switch between channels of a Curves adjustment layer the active point is deselected. This breaks flow and slows down the process of getting the color right, which for me typically involves bouncing back and forth between 2 or all 3 color channels (working in RGB) and making one or two point adjustments with the arrow keys. To reproduce:Make a new Curves layer Add a point somewhere in the middle of each of the R, G, and B channels. Press Opt + 3, 4, or 5 to switch between the channels. Prior behavior: you would still have selected and active the same, nth point on the curve. So, if you were on the Red channel and had tweaked a point in the middle, then switched to Blue which you hadn’t touched yet, you’d have the 255,255 point active since it was the second point on the curve. Once all three channels had a point though, switching between them would keep the midpoint selected for tweaking with the arrow keys. Current
Hello,I have encountered what appears to be a GPU-related rendering bug when converting RGB images to CMYK in Photoshop.SystemPhotoshop 27.8 macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 Mac Studio M2 Ultra Apple Silicon GPUProblemWhenever GPU acceleration is enabled, converting an RGB image to CMYK produces severe black rendering artifacts across the image. The artifacts appear immediately after the color conversion and make the document unusable. The issue occurs with multiple images and is fully reproducible on my system.Steps to ReproduceOpen an RGB image. Make sure Use Graphics Processor is enabled under Preferences > Performance. Convert the document to CMYK (either Image > Mode > CMYK Color or Edit > Convert to Profile). Large black artifacts appear throughout the image.Expected ResultThe RGB image should convert normally to CMYK without any visual corruption.Actual ResultThe converted image contains large black rendering artifacts that were not present in the original RGB document.WorkaroundDi
As the title says, I'm trying to use the new AI remove tool after removing some people using the Generative Fill tool, as the ai generated grass is usually more accurate when using Remove. This is something I have been doing since the remove tool came out, and it has worked without error until last week. Now, whenever I have used generative fill on an image, and I attempt to use the AI Remove tool, Photoshop says "Could not complete your request because of a program error", regardless of whether my selection includes the area where Generative Fill was used. I get the same result if I rasterise the Gen Fill layer, or if I flatten the image. However, if I undo the Gen Fill, or open a new image without any Gen Fill used on it, the Remove tool will work as it is supposed to. The file type does not seem to matter, as I have tried .dng, .psd, .png and .jpg and got the same results for all. My question is, why might this be happening? Is it deliberate choice by adobe, or an uninte
Issue Summary:Using “Select > Subject” on an image triggers a hard crash of the entire machine with the error “Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (0x38) What failed: nviddmkm.sys”Sometimes results in corruption of the image that the command is run on as well as other images that are open at the same time making them no longer usable.Doesn’t occur every time the command is run.Workaround:Changing the preference “Image Processing > Select Subject and Remove Background” to "Cloud" prevents the issue.Documenting this issue here so maybe it might get fixed properly allowing local processing.Driver Info:Latest Nvidia Studio Driver 610.62Photoshop System Info and video of the crash occurring are attached.
Hello Adobe team,I am reporting an issue with Photoshop 27.7 on Windows 11 where the new Remove Tool on-device generative AI model cannot be enabled on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080.The “Device” option remains greyed out, even though all documented requirements appear to be met.SYSTEM SUMMARYPhotoshop version: Adobe Photoshop 2026 / 27.7Operating system: Windows 11GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080VRAM: approximately 16 GBDirectX: DirectX 12 / DirectX 12.2 availableNVIDIA driver: current and newer than Adobe’s stated minimum requirementPhotoshop GPU acceleration: enabledPhotoshop GPU status: GPU is detected and allowedAvailable disk space: sufficientThe GPU is usable for normal Photoshop GPU acceleration. The important detail is that Photoshop appears to detect and use the RTX 5080 for general GPU acceleration, but in the system information / GPU identification path the card is shown as:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 UNKNOWNThis strongly suggests that the issue is not general GPU acceleration, but the
