I got an issue that occurs when I open an image in photoshop via the right click “edit in photoshop” contextual menu from light room classic 15.3.1. If photoshop is not already open and it has to launch I get the smearing as per below.Issue does not occur if photoshop is already open. Doesn't happen if older GPU option is enabled in prefs but I find scrubby zoom is not very smooth with that option enabled. It is an older GPU but still officially compatible .Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.7.0 20260514.r.11 fa4476d x64 (final, Release)Number of Launches: 480Operating System: Windows 11 64-bitVersion: 11 or greater 10.0.26200.8457System architecture: AMD CPU Family:15, Model:1, Stepping:2, AVX2, HyperThreadingPhysical processor count: 16Logical processor count: 32Processor speed: 3394 MHzBuilt-in memory: 65457 MBFree memory: 41980 MBMemory available to Photoshop: 51341 MBMemory used by Photoshop: 70 %Crash Handler: AdobeDCX Version: 9.22.0SAM SDK Version: 15.1.0ACP.local Status: - SDK Versi
Has anyone else faced this issue in the latest versions of Photoshop (both Main and Beta)?Whenever I type a number followed by a dot and then a space (for example, "1. Text"), Photoshop automatically converts it into a numbered list/bullet format. The problem is that Photoshop then freezes completely, becomes unusable, and I can't even save my work. The only way to close it is through Task Manager.Has anyone experienced this issue, or am I missing a setting on my side?
Using the latest Photoshop 27.7 with Modern User Interface enabled, in the file dialog launched from Save for Web you cannot copy/paste text into the file name. Also when you hit the escape key to cancel the file dialog and return to Save for Web screen, hitting escape a second time does not close out of Save for Web but command-period still does. If you avoid trying to copy/paste text the escape key still works correctly. Disabling Modern User Interface returns all the expected behavior. This is on a fresh machine set up a couple weeks ago.Photoshop 27.7macOS 15.7.5
Windows 11 / Photoshop Beta: Menu commands and tool shortcut keys randomly stop working, forcing me to close the active document and reopen to get them working again. Eventually it happens again forcing a rinse and repeat scenario. Has occurred over the last 3+ Photoshop Beta updates.
After the latest Photoshop update, Remove Tool Generative AI became slow and laggy. On some images it fails with a false "check your internet connection" error, while Generative Fill continues to work normally.
Resizing images with bicubic reduction is failing. Tried it multiple times but still, there are issues
Since version 27.4 and continuing in 27.5 I’ve been experiencing image flickering when using the Curves adjustment. In version 27.4, the issue occurs in all Curves use cases. In 27.5, it appears primarily when applying Curves as a Smart Adjustment on a Smart Object. It is slightly improved, but still noticeable when using Curves as a standard adjustment layer.I’ve attached a video demonstrating the issue: The first example shows Curves applied as a Smart Adjustment on a Smart Object (strong flickering). The second shows a direct adjustment on a non-Smart Object layer (no issue). The third shows a standard adjustment layer (minor flickering still visible). The flickering is clearly visible, especially in the first case. Please look into this issue, as it makes precise adjustments very difficult.Thank you.example video:https://youtu.be/jbe6K-ORr44
Hello Adobe team,I am reporting an issue with Photoshop 27.7 on Windows 11 where the new Remove Tool on-device generative AI model cannot be enabled on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080.The “Device” option remains greyed out, even though all documented requirements appear to be met.SYSTEM SUMMARYPhotoshop version: Adobe Photoshop 2026 / 27.7Operating system: Windows 11GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080VRAM: approximately 16 GBDirectX: DirectX 12 / DirectX 12.2 availableNVIDIA driver: current and newer than Adobe’s stated minimum requirementPhotoshop GPU acceleration: enabledPhotoshop GPU status: GPU is detected and allowedAvailable disk space: sufficientThe GPU is usable for normal Photoshop GPU acceleration. The important detail is that Photoshop appears to detect and use the RTX 5080 for general GPU acceleration, but in the system information / GPU identification path the card is shown as:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 UNKNOWNThis strongly suggests that the issue is not general GPU acceleration, but the
The function perfectly identifies distractions but, in the elimination phase using the cloud, 9 times out of 10 it reports that the Internet connection is missing, when in fact it is perfectly active.
The photoshop web won’t work.
Its very delayed but when it does load it doesnt do what I have asked
Remove Tool Generative AI became slow after the latest update and intermittently fails with a false internet connection error, while Generative Fill continues to work normally.
As the title says, I'm trying to use the new AI remove tool after removing some people using the Generative Fill tool, as the ai generated grass is usually more accurate when using Remove. This is something I have been doing since the remove tool came out, and it has worked without error until last week. Now, whenever I have used generative fill on an image, and I attempt to use the AI Remove tool, Photoshop says "Could not complete your request because of a program error", regardless of whether my selection includes the area where Generative Fill was used. I get the same result if I rasterise the Gen Fill layer, or if I flatten the image. However, if I undo the Gen Fill, or open a new image without any Gen Fill used on it, the Remove tool will work as it is supposed to. The file type does not seem to matter, as I have tried .dng, .psd, .png and .jpg and got the same results for all. My question is, why might this be happening? Is it deliberate choice by adobe, or an uninte
Photoshop randomly stops working/freezes aS I am making edits and then will just stay frozen. If reload page, then it will not save the edits i made at all to image. It has never done this before so I am confused as to what to to do. My computer is up to date. I have a macbook. It has enough storage. I have signed out of photoshop. It’s only photoshop because lightroom is working perfectly.
Happens to me, when I use text tool. Click once to start writing text and it freezes, when it responds again it has multiple layers of ‘Lorem Ipsum’ text added
In the Canvas Size dialog, with “Relative to current dimension” checked, the width nor height can be set to 0. This is a big problem if you only want to change one dimension. Also, I will say that it is very annoying that the up and down arrow keys no longer increase and decrease the value by a whole number.
There is a similiar thread about this issue, but since it's years old (and marked as "solved") I will start a new bugreport. When I use the clone stamp, the source reference (the crosshair cursor) is not visible when you hide any selection. CTRL + H = hide edges = hide clone stamp cursor. I think it's a bug, since it doesn't make sense. I want to hide selection edges when cloning, but not the clone source/ crosshair itself. Windows 11 | 64 bit | Photoshop 26.6.1
Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.4.0 2Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit When I go to Image → Canvas Size, the default is always pixels. I want it to be inches. Note: I have checked in preferences, units and measures, and the default is inches. Also when I go to image → Image size, the default is in fact inches, which is what I expect. Is the default unit for image → canvas size now different? Is there a different place to set it? thanks
Hello,After the latest update, the decimal separator for the centimeter unit in the Canvas Size option has been changed to a period instead of a comma. Previously, it was a comma. Since we are accustomed to entering measurements using the numeric keypad—and there is no period key on the numeric keypad—we are experiencing difficulties.I kindly request that the comma be restored as the decimal separator.Thank you,Vedat
This version has so many bugs, I don’t even want to use it any more and am switching back to 2025. Just to name a few, it crashes every time you try to print directly from the program. The last month alone, it has cleared my actions 3 times without an app update. It crashed randomly when our workflow is always the same. I have files that work just fine with older versions, but with 2026 it acts like my files are corrupt. Updates clearly aren’t helping either and I have my workspace and preferences the way I like, but even with syncing the actions continuously get cleared. If this ever gets fixed I’ll consider switching, but in the meantime until 2027 comes out, I will be sticking with 2025.
There is a critical data-retention contradiction in how the Camera Raw Filter handles Smart Filter data. While Adobe Camera Raw explicitly caches AI depth map assets inside the layer's filter settings to optimize memory performance, it fails to persist manually selected focal point coordinate overlays when the underlying Smart Object layer is transformed or modified. When a user employs the "Set Focal Point" eye-dropper tool inside the Lens Blur panel, Photoshop maps volatile X/Y canvas coordinates into the ACR sub-engine.However, performing any minor layer property alteration (such as scaling the layer, adding/modifying an external layer mask, or using 'Replace Contents') triggers a standard Photoshop Layer Topology Rebuild.During this rebuild, Photoshop completely flushes the temporary coordinate memory overlay. When the filter forces a background refresh, Camera Raw receives zero coordinate data and silently drops the user’s precise focal selections, reverting back to automatic cente
The tab to click on and change the properties for an adjustment layer randomly disappears. Quitting and re-opening the app solves the issue, but it will happen again within minutes, usually when switching between different projects or different app on the computer. On Photoshop v26.6 - Mac Mini M4 pro, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd. Any help would be appreciated! ss
