Camera Raw

Sur les versions anciennes de CAMERA RAW, il était possible de paramétrer le nommage de fichier entièrement en incrémentant une numérotation à partir d'une construction donnée. Si je nommais un fichier A-101, eh bien le système me nommait le fichiers suivants : A-102, A-103, A-104 etc...Dans la nouvelle version, la zone "début de la numérotation" est grisée / non active et il m'est impossible de définir la numérotation à partir de laquelle l'outil doit nommer les fichiers.Est-ce un bug ou bien un paramétrage de l'outil, mais je n'ai pas trouvé d'information dans ce sens dans l'aide ?Merci pour votre aide.

Has anyone had a problem with raw files being hijacked and changed format to on one or topaze plug ins on import if so can you help me please.

For the most part when I hit "auto" in ACR, the suggested adjustment is in the ball park of what I'm hoping for - this other than the white and black end points which are always no where near to clipping and then I have to adjust each of these every time for harder blacks and brighter highlights. With "curves" and "levels" in Photoshop, you can adjust the white and black end points for the auto adjustment. How do I do this in ACR?Thanks in advance! 🙂

What is the path to move presets from an old computer to new computer (PC)?  I previously used:  AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw   and it was under settings

Camera raw has been a disaster since 11.4.  Never works, I can wait more than a minute to open a file. Forget opeong multiple files. It is unusable.  I have played with the graphics card on/off and that has no effect (Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super).  PC has 32 GB or ram, and no spinning drives.  All SSD drives, including NVMe M2 boot drive,  I do not have nor ever have had Acronis installed, which I see could have had an impact.   I turned off my Avast secrutiy siftware, and that has zero impact. I keep trying updates and each time I have to go back to 11.4.   Dissapoitning and frustrating is an understatement.

Is this matter being addressed by Adobe?

For the last... eh... 10-15 years CameraRAW, Bridge and Photoshop although not ideal but never ever during these years was I frustrated this much. My whole workflow is broken completely, all the controls are in unusual places (I wish all those programmers and managers got pedals in their cars swapped overnight! Then they would probably realize what exactly they are attempting to do to Adobe users)Besides inconvenient placement of controls LR-like, the features of zooming and cropping are COMPLETELY broken and slow like snail on one machine with a weak graphics card, and highly inconvenient and still slow on another one (with a great graphics card). Previous version was working great without accelerators, and was convenient like for the last 15 years. Why break what works well???The ONLY solution so far for me is Bridge 10.0.4 in combination with CameraRAW 12.2.1A viable alternative is to use some Capture One that would not help with controls and workflow but give better colors and pres

How to install the previous, classic version of Camera Raw? I don't like the new design! Not convenient!

The Crop tool always resets the aspect ratio to 2: 3 like the original image, while I need to crop into 5: 7 with a large number of images. Leading to each file I have to adjust to 5: 7 every time. Too time-consuming. After the crop is finished, the image does not zoom in full screen, it must be zoomed up again. The parameters of the tools are: Graduated, Radial, Brush, they also reset after I exit them. In short, I made a lot of photos and ACR 12.3 took a lot of my time.

I am shooting on a Panasonic GH5 in RAW. I have been for a couple years and developed and streamlined a workflow with it. I edit from the flat profile, but now Camera Raw appears to be applying some sort of auto-edit that boosts the contrast. I went back and opened some images I'd worked on a couple months ago, and they're still opening fine without any aparent edit. I have gotten a firmware update for my camera since then... could this be a change to the .RW2 format that is now being read differently in Camera Raw? I have checked the profile and it was different than my shots from a couple months ago. I changed that to the same one from before but it's still not what it should be. Here's an example of how Camera Raw is changing my image from the flat base I prefer to edit from.

Please provide me a way to download Camera Raw Version 8.8.

So unfortunately i have updated to the new camera raw and all of my presets are no longer available. i have no clue as to how to add them into the new 12.3 can anyone help? I need to do some serious editing and I cant afford to start from scratch, i had so many presets that i used on a regular basis and im hoping they arent all good for nothing now. Please help.

What happened to it?  I can't make a pano!!!  Is it now elsewhere?  Help!

When I'm working in Camera Raw, in the "basic" panel, it's layed out first with "temperature" and then "tint" followed by the six essentials - "exposure", "contrast", "highlights", "shadows", "whites", and "blacks". When I'm adjusting these I tend to bounce around starting from what needs the most adjustment and then back and forth as necessary until I get the image looking the way I want it too look without clipping or in some cases, with as little clipping as possible. I've often wondered, when the software designers put this together, was there some wisdom in the order of these six adjustments perhaps with the intention that they be adjusted initially in order?...or was the order simply based on what was most often most important.Thanks!

With most tools when working in Photoshop, I can either apply the tool by hiting "return" or cancel the tool and close the tool window by hiting the "escape" key which is really nice for my workflow. For some reason, this isn't true with the ACR filter when accessed through Photoshop. "Return" does apply my adjustments to my image but the "escape" key does nothing. Why? Is it some setting I'm missing? Thank! 

Seit dem letzten Update ist im Camera RAW das Zuschneiden und drehen nicht mehr möglich bzw. extrem langsam. In Ligtroom und PH funktioniert es wunderbar.  Ist das ein Fehler von Adobe und wird es ein Update geben ??Wer kanhn mir helden.Ps.: Funktioniert auf mehreren PCs nicht. 

I'm working with RAW files but can't open them in Camera Raw because of an error. Also different raw files (.gpr, .nef) or jpeg are not possible to be opened. I also tried to reinstall an older Photoshop version (21.1), but still it's not working. Restarting the computer also didn't work... Camera Raw version 12.3What can I do? 

First post here, really in desperation as Adobe chat and a fair bit of searching hasn't produced any real answers.Being old and frugal, I have muddled on with the last stand alone version of Lightroom, and also CS6 Photoshop. I am happy with that, except, the newer camera raw files are not supported, annoying but reality. I have used DNG Converter to turn the files into somethingnthat is recognized by LR/CS6.I now need an updated DNG Converter, and downloaded the latest, 12.3 I think. And, in preparation I deleted the old Converter, it worked, albeit not with my latest camera raw files.When I click on the program now, in my dock, it opens up a small barely visible icon on the screen, and "DNG Converter" is viusible in the upper tool bar. But is not what I have been used to, I don't think it has fully loaded? I have tried slightly older versions as well, V12.0 for example, same result. Screengrab shows the small icon. I also moved the DMG file closer to it, so this is also visible, but

When I edit images in ACR, I used to use the arrow keys to navigate up and down the images on the left side. Now, I can use the arrow keys in certain circumscances. For example, If I am editing basic settings, I can use the arrow keys to navigate images. If I am cropping, I have to use Ctrl+arrow keys to navigate. That extra key stroke may not seem like much, but it is very problematic and breaks an otherwise smooth flow. There has to be a better solution?

Hi, does anyone have a good ACR preset  to convert scanned col negatives to positives?i know it's basically flipping the curve (dragging the white and black points down/up) and I could save that as a preset. But there are other adjustments, like the col cast that would be good to have included... plus all other sliders (except contrast) work in the opposite direction so its difficult to add other presets on top

Hi all. Is it possible to disable the scrubby zoom in the latest acr? I much prefer to create a selection around the area I want to zoom into. Can't  seem to be able to do this anymore.

Hey,since a late Update of Photoshop and Camera Raw (July 2020), the "Camera Raw Filter" looks and works different than before. All of my old Lightroom presets are gone in PS and are now replaced by useless default "Profiles". Is there any way to get the old Camera Raw Editor back or to get your Lightroom filters back in there? Hi, I have a raw image file taken with my Nikon and it has been in both Photoshop and Lightroom and somewhere along the way the file has changed. Is there any way to bring this back to the way it was when I took the picture? I tried using Bridge Edit/Develop Settings/Clear Settings and nothing has changed. I know, I should have made a copy first and didn't, my fault. Thank you.

Adobe. What have you done?Overall, I'm not too bothered by the changes in 12.3. Some are improvements, some are slightly worse and I'd certainly like the ability to revery to the previous layout - as someoen who doesn't use lightroom, making it look more like lightroom is just a pain.BUT cropping is now completely unusable - I'm not exaggerating. The previous version was great, simple, straightforward and effective. Now I simple can't use it and am having to do all my cropping in photoshop.PLEASE revert to the previous version until you can make improvements that are actually improvements!
