Good morning all.I did an update to Catalina on an SDD on an imac late 2013 in addition to having big problem of importing image on my SDXC cards (I have to go through my macbook pro) I can no longer arrive to export my images from bridge or Camera raw even with the latest versions (included ACR 12.3) I am running out of ideas to solve the problem. I can't find anything on the adobe forums or on the macs forums.I saw that there was a possibility to reset the SMC. can that be a solution? Can anyone help me?Thank you
Hello, I'm just beginning to familiarize myself with the changes to Camera Raw 12.3 and can't figure out how to toggle just the adjustments made using the Adjustment Brush. In older versions, you could use cmd+option+P (MAC), or use the button on the bottom right of the Camera Raw window. That seems to be missing now? I can still use the P key, but, that toggles ALL adjustments, not just the adjustments made using the currently selected tool. I can't imagine they would have removed this feature entirely, given how crucial it is to toggle your adjustments on/off to make sure they aren't overly harsh or unnoticeable. Thank you for your time!
I am shooting with sony A7r II and currently convert all my ARW files to DNG using Adobe DNG converter. Can someone please clarify the following? 1. Are lens corrections written into the original ARW files carried over to the DNG? 2. For known lenses to Adobe, will the corrections be automatically applied to the DNG files created? 3. For lenses not known to Adobe, will the manufacturer profile from the ARW files be applied if available?
where is the lens correction module in the new adobe raw?
Am I crazy? My muscle memory keeps trying to scroll the thumbnail gallery (now at the bottom, but it used to be along the left side) with my mouse wheel. I thought the last version did this. The current (updated version 12.3) is absolutely not responding to mouse scroll wheel motions though the arrow keys seem to work. Does anyone know if this is a setting I need to change? I've been through preference settings everywhere I could think of.
I don't kow if this is the correct place to post what I have to say. I'm trying to give feedback to Adobe that the latest version of camera raw has the worst, I repeat, worst cropping tool I have ever seen. Clunky, jerky, slow, slow, did I say slow. The old version offered smooth control. The new one locks you into a bunch of rigid formats that don't allow for smooth operation. Pure Junk from a company that should be at the front of operations. Junk! Junk! Junk! If you know who I can contact to express my disapproval, let me know.
Hi all... having used Adobe Camera RAW for almost 20 years now, I have to say that I am struggling with the new interface. It just isn't that ergnomic to use (not that the old one was much better). What WOULD improve ACR 12.3 though, is if Adobe allowed people to customize the interface in basic ways. For the moment I am frustrated that everytime I want to change between the different tool palletes on the far right of the screen... I have to go up to the TOP RIGHT corner to get to them.... WHY NOT JUST POSITION THESE PALETTE ICONS in the CENTRE RIGHT of the screen... so that they are easier to get to.I am left handed, and it would also be good if we could swap the thumbnails column from the left of the screen to the right... and the tools from the right to the left of the screen.Small differences like this would be quite an improvement for many of us who spend a lot of time working with Bridge ACR. (Call me old fashioned but I prefer to work in Bridge than Lightroom). I look f
When using Camera Raw from Photoshop, i am missing some critical functionality, such as crop and rotate. It seems to be present if launching directly out of Windows using a RAW file, before it opens in Photoshop, however when using it as a filter from within PhotoShop, its missing the very important crop and rotate 'C' functionality.
i just received a letter from Adobe representative, that the +/- , one of the most usful tools on ACR, that was removed from the latest ACR v12.3 - will not come back. i have sent them an email , explaining who much its missed - for us, pro photographers, that use the ACR on multiple editing of hundreds of images on each project, please join me with this request to bring the selective brushes "+/-" buttons back! send Adobe developers this request. missing this ability is effecting 3 slowing down issues-A- you cant “jump” In the slider by clicking +/-.B- If you want to edit the next image with the same brush - you just can’t! , not like before - all sliders are resets automatically! why?Since we are talking about multiple images editing > ACR supposed to shorten the time, why should I set the brush time and time again for each image???. This is a BIG BIG BIG hassle !!! was much better in previous sliders work. C- when usi
Cuando abro mis RAW de en el nuevo Camera Raw 12.3 no se realiza el aviso de recorte de altas luces (O) . Sin embargo, si abro la imagen y aplico Camera Raw como flitro sí.
Hi I recently upgraded to Camera Raw 12.3 and regretted it instantly. I reverted quickly back to 12.2.1. The issue I'm having is that when working directly from the NAS (Synology DS 1618+), as I have done for a long time, the metedata is being wiped when JPGs are produced from the CR2/ CR3 files. It doesn't happen when working locally on my iMac. When working locally, the tags stay in place and the caption is duplicated from the RAW to the resulting JPG. Maybe it's nothing to do with having done the update, but I wonder if there is a residual trace of it on my machine that is somehow causing this problem? Any help on how to solve this would be hugely appreciated as I'd like to preserve my existing workflow. Thanks James
...who remoted in to sort my problem with the latest update periodically throwing up diagonal lines. My GPU driver needed updating. Doh! Works fine now, but still not mad about the layout.
Hello. I'm using Photomerge in Photoshop (V. 21.1.0) with some vertical images (taken by my iPhone 6s) to create an horizontal panorama but when I apply Filter Camera Raw (V. 12.3.0.493) in the CR Filter the horizontal image is rotated automatically in vertical so it's impossible work in CR Filter. To solve I have to save image, close it, then open and apply CR Filter with the image horizzontal. This is not a solution so I ask here if is there an option to fix this issue? I hope it. Thanks.
There needs to be a way for the image zoom to automatically go to "Fit in View" after finalizing a crop. There is no excuse for how frustrating this change in default behavoir from previous versions without the ability to customize this behavior.
I am looking for HDR raw for Samsung s10 plus ? Is this available?
Anyone else experiencing this? I open a batch of consecutive taken files in Camera Raw through Bridge, the file extension on all files is .RAF, and some act like JPEGs when I use the sliders to correct the image, while others behave normally, in that the white balance isn't shown as a temperature, but rather the more rudimentary warmer to colder slider. These are images taken in a continuous sequence. . seems to be no ryhyme or reason for Camera Raw to be treating these files differently. . .
I have installed the previous version of Bridge and it is working but it still brings up the new ACR that I don't want because of the crop issue. I do like the new interface and hopefully a new version will be forthcoming. I did download and install the pervious ACR. How to I get it to come up in Brdige?
I take some photos from 3 different camera, all custom white balance, and open by Photoshop + ACR 12.3 or LR, front that ACR white balance (as shot) all different to camera setting.already try uninstall ACR 12.3 and install 10、11 version, same issue. test photos from Fujifilm X-T1、X-T100、DJI Mavic 2 Prothese 4 photos from DJI Mavic, A mode, custom WB 4500k, 5000k, 5500k, 6000k and open with ACR
Struggling to use the crop tool in the camara raw update. Its not working in the same way. All that seems to happen is the image rotates
I downloaded the horrible new (12.3) version of Raw, hated it with every ounce of my being. I switched back to the old version. I culled and made adjustment to an engagement session and saved the files as tifs. First issue, the thumbnails won't display, and I have checked thumbnail size handling in prefences and emptied cache and neither of those things helped. So this moring, I decide to delete those tif files and resave. However, none of the adjustments made in camera raw were saved. I am livid. I have no idea why or how to fix these issues.
This is a problem with the crop function of camera raw.In my case, I don't recognize the width and height of the image and it crops vertically or crops horizontally. In previous versions, cropping was done by recognizing the width and height of the image. In the new version, you can't crop or compare multiple photos in either horizontal or vertical format at once. There is also no way to delete crops once they are set.The older version is much easier to use.Am I setting something wrong?
Everything I always use is now under one tab, so I have to constantly scroll up and down to get to the settings. And when I try to turn on guide lines for perspective adjustment, the whole thing jumps, so I have to scroll more. I already miss the one click button to get where I want. Grrrrrr.
Hi I have just update my photoshop to 21.2 and Bridge to 10.1.0 and I have a problem. I am on a mac and my normal method of opening files is to go into bridge, see the RAW file that I want, double click it and open it in ACR. I then make the necessary adjustments, crops etc and then save the RAW file. In the past the next time I go into bridge and review my RAW files any previous changes and crops are visible and the files look just as I had left them the previous time. However after this update, whenever I update my RAW files and save them, the changes are not visible in Bridge (ie. I still see the RAW file as it originally was without any changes). The changes only become visible whenever I open up the file in Photoshop and then they are visible. I have tried reinstalling the software but still get the same result. Any idea what the problems could be and how do I resolve it ? or can someone advise how
My Bridge updated, I don't like it. When I open photo in Raw my tool bar is no longer at the top and I can not find the icons I need. Anyone else with this problem? Can I undo the updates if I don't like them?Thank youLoisr
Hello. I use Bridge to edit my RAW files. I usually right click on the thumbnail and select Open in Camera Raw. I can still do that but now the image opens in the newer Camera Raw which I find a bit difficult to navigate compared to the previous version. Is it possible to roll back to the previous version of Camera Raw or am I stuck with the most recent version? Thanks, I hope I explained this clearly enough.
