Camera Raw

Encountered this problem when I rendered panorama in Camera RAW. Same issue in LR. Made edits to several photos. When I created panorama, the edits disappeared. Worse, I apparently lost the RAW tonal range, because I was not able to duplicate edits in the individual pictures with a global edit in the pano. This is a new problem. Didn't seem to experience it previously. Only solution was to open files in PS, then merge the corrected files into a panorama after saving as psd files. See attachment.

I am running Mac High Sierra 10.13.1 and ACR version 10.4.0.976.  I am having numerous issues but the most important right now is when I go to ACR filter plugin I do not have a crop tool or leveling tool?  I do not want to uninstall PS as I have numerous add-ons that I don't want to reinstall.  Does anyone have any suggestions on this matter?  I have enclosed a screenshot of ACR.Thank you,J Buckley[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Comments is to ask about the operation of the Forum, not a specific program][Moved from the Comments forum to the specific Program forum... BesteIk docht een paar jaar geleden adobe photoshop elements 13. Ik heb nu een Nikon camera waarop ik afbeedlingen kan opslaan als RAW-bestand. Helaas kan ik die niet openen in mijn Photoshop programma ondanks dat ik de voorgestelde updates installeer. Hoe komt dit?

Hello, I just used my new Canon EOS 7D Mark II last night for the first time, using the settings where the camera saves the images as raw and jpeg.  I have never shot raw images before and wanted to try it out.  I put the images on my MacBook Pro, like I always do, both jpeg and raws. I selected the images I wanted to edit and tried dragging and dropping them into photoshop like I always do.  When I did this, a different screen popped up, asking me to open, edit, close.... with editing functions on it.  I clicked open and put them into my normal editing area, edited them, and saved them.  They all went from ~15MB down to ~5MB and turned into JPEG.  I dont know why, but they also shrunk in file size when I put them into photoshop.  Can you help me figure out what I am doing wrong?

can I import direct from camera to dng converter??

Running the most current versions of Adobe Photoshop CC 2018.  When I open a RAW photo file in Adobe Camera Raw (v10.3.0.933), the fly out menu for “Apply Favorite Preset” is greyed out; ie not available.  If I select “Load Settings” I can see all of my previously saved Presets.  Exactly how or what do I do so all of those previously saved Presets are available through the “Apply Favorite Preset” menu?  Thanks for any & all suggestions.  Mark W.

Bonjour,je viens d'installer la dernière version de Photoshop CC et de Lightroom CC. Des que j'ouvre une image dans Camera Raw 10.4, le programme bug immédiatement. Dans lightroom aucun problème et si transfert une photo de "digital photo professionnal 4 de canon" dans photoshop aucun problème. Par contre dès que je le transfert dans Camera Raw, même problème. Cela a lieu avec des fichiers .CR2 (d'un canon eos 600d et d'un eos 5d mark iv); .jpeg.Quelqu'un a-t-il une solution SVP?Merci de votre aide

Hi, when I make DNG in Adobe DNG converter, besides the DNG File i have small JPG Thumbnail image size 192x256px.Can I extract the same full size image preview straight from a DNG File?Thanks, Karl

I'm not a big LR guy as I hate importing and I move and rename folders around a lot which breaks stuff.But today, my apprentice said he could not get what he wanted on a landscape image without LR.The two things he likes there are the highlights and shadows sliders.I see in ACR other sliders, (fill,  recovery, etc but he says they are more global.Does ACR or PS have these two sliders in some way?

Hey guys,I have already contacted the support several times, but they seem to not take my issue as a personal problem and don't get that it considers the whole community.So I wanted to ask all of you:Are you all too having problems with the synchronization feature of adobe raw converter?The matter is, that when I choose automatic settings for all photos, than the synchronization of pictures works really bad.Here is a closer description of my problem:1. I open 5 photos in Raw Converter2. I select all of them and let the Converter adjust them automatically 3. I adjust photo no1 perfectly. Make some settings e.g. in lights and shadows. (l:-40, s:40)4. I choose all 5 photos and try to synchronize them, so that they have all the settings of the first photo, but only the automatic exposure should stay.5. The 5 photos will absolutely have NOT the same settings. Photo 4 e.g. hasn't l -40 s 40, but l -10 s 34

Mas, mesmo atualizando no Lr quando abro as informações dele informa ACR 8.7.1.Lr não está visualizando as imagens da minha câmera, preciso disso pra trabalho.Ao importar aparece isso, e depois que consegui importar pelo próprio sistema da câmera, o Lr não visualiza a imagem.O que eu faço?O que pode estar acontecendo?

Using 1920x1080 screen on Windows 10x64 and ACR 10.3.I  don't have any font/UI scaling issues except the one illustrated below.The Lens names are long and don't fit in the narrow dropdown.I cannot tell which lens profile is being selected.Would be great to either allow  widening the entire UI panel or find some other solution so the full lens name can be visible.E.g. New Tamron lenses have a model number at the end of the lens (G2 A025N), also if LCP is for lens with teleconverter the x2.0 is at the end of the lens name.Therefore the entire lens text string name must be visible in the UI.

I discovered today when I used DNG converter to ingest some recent images from my X-T2 that the converter was applying the Acros simulation to the raw files. Until a few days ago it was processing them normally. I happened to still have some old images on the card that I had already converted successfully (i.e. in color with no simulation) and sure enough, when I ran them through DNG again, the converter applied the simulation to them, too. I solved the problem by updating to 9.12, but I feel this is a very serious bug that Adobe should be made aware of - if I was in the habit of deleting my images off the cards immediately following conversion, I would have been screwed. Anyone know what might have happened?

I have a Pentax KP camera & I have taken images in HDR. This camera takes 3 images & blends them in the camera to 1 image  but still produces a RAW file. I can see the image has HDR in the camera play back and if the image is viewed in Internet explorer. When opened in bridge, Camera RAW or Photoshop CC the image shows no HDR.     Photoshop                                                    Camera Playback Internet explorerThis is the first time I have used HDR in my camera.Any Help appreciatedThank You

I export from Lightroom frequently and have never had this issue, but today I exported a bunch of files and then went to open them in PS. I only saw the XMP files, but not the CR2 files. I can't just open the XMP file. Anyone had this happen and know how to fix?I tried overwriting again in Lightroom but it didn't help.
