Hi, I have noticed a strange issue with Adobe Camera Raw. When I preview the image in Bridge, I can see the full image, as taken with the camera, but when I open in ACR, it clips both sides of the image? There is no crop, it just chops the ends off? As you can see the blue car on the left is in shot, but in ACR it is clipped.Has anyone experienced this?Nikon D850Mac OS High SierraBridge CC 2018 8.0.1.282ACR 10.3.0.993
Is it my imagination or has the processing of multiple (20-40) images become much slower since ACR 10?I adjust all files individually first, then batch apply chromatic correction & sharpening. then save the 5DsR .CR2 files to TIFF folder, and as I write I'm waiting 32 files to process & save.Mac Pro OS 10.12 - 32GB Ram - 3.7Ghz quad processor.Peter
Hi Guys,i hope someone have the solution for this.Since the first cc version when saving files from camera raw (opened from bridge) the CPU usage goes up to 100%, it took 20minutes to save 1000 raw files, and that's fine, but i can just look at him saving, not even listen to some music because it lag.i have a i7 4770k, 32gb ram, and so on. I think it is a bad Adobe optimization, but if someone has a solution, i will be absolutely grateful.Thank you
Camera Profiles missing from within photoshop ACR latest updates I had some colorchecker passport for camera dcp profiles which were originally under the Calibration menu/ Camera Profile drop down tab, which is now missing in the new update for ACR. They do not show up under the new Presets tab in ACR They do show up in Lightroom, but I need to work within Photoshop & Bridge for my work flow Any suggestions to access these profiles again while working in Photoshop or Bridge with Raw files?
Hi. This post is mainly about Camera Raw when used as a plugin in Photoshop, but if my fears are correct it may apply just as well to Camera Raw in its role as the main processing engine of Lightroom. You can find your Camera Raw version in Photoshop by clicking Help > About Plugin > Camera Raw, to determine whether this post may have anything to do with what's going on in your own setup. The issue:* Before this CR update, if you applied CR as a smart filter on a smart object in PS, merely applying it, opening the filter dialogue, would change nothing whatsoever about your image. Nothing at all would be altered, at least not visibly, until you actually began to move any of the control sliders in the CR filter/plugin.* After this CR update, merely applying Filter > Camera Raw immediately does something to your image, even before you change anything in the filter at all.To reproduce: use any photograph; or to match my situation, use an outdoor landscape photograph with a fairly wi

DNG conveter 8.7.1.311 doesn't convert my orf file. It doesn't recognise them in the folder i choose...I try to put in the folder my OM-D E-M2 orf file and a Stylus1 orf file, and the program convert only the second type of file.I have Photoshop CS6 13.0.1, Camera raw 9.1.1, so I download DNG converter 8.7.1.311.What I have to do?Thank you.
Unfortunately Adobe did a very poor job on the camera matching profiles. Incredible artifacts. Here is the link to full rez printscreens and the raw. I am using LR 2015.9 (shows camera raw 9.9) and PS CC 2018 (which indicates CR 10.3 installed). Whenever I try and export an image from LR to PS I get a pop up saying that my Camera Raw version is 0.3 and the files won't be compatible. Do I want to export anyways or use LR for export. I tried downloading the latest version of CR 10.3 and relaunched both PS and LR and the problem still exists. I can't locate the CR folder anywhere on my computer (using spotlight search) to confirm which folders are actually stored nor can it be located searching manually. I tried exporting a BW image from LR into PS. When the export dialogue popped up, if I chose 'export anyways' with the incompatibility popup, the image turned all yellow in PS. If I exported from LR selecting the 'use LR anyways' option with the incompatibility pop-up, the image appears like a normal BW photo in PS.As an aside, (I don't know if this could be related in anyway), when I created a
A small thing, but when I am working in Bridge or Photoshop (CC 2018), using ACR to make some adjustments, and I hit P to preview changes (before/after), when I am back to the current added adjustment, I have to reselect the pin I was using. Before, it stayed selected, so I could continue with my adjustment- usually a dodge or burn- so I have to remember to click pin again, or else I get a new pin &and a second adjustment. And a third. And so on. Would be great if that pin stayed selected as it did in previous versions of ACR. Or am I missing something here...?Thanks.
I get the following code U41M1C213 while installing an update of pse10. What can I do about it? I work under Windows 10.Marielle
Hi,after updating to 19.1.2 I encounter the following problem: I have a psd file with smart objects created from raw files. When I double click the smart object, I get the Adobe Camera Raw window, where I find the color profiles in the new location, the 'basic' tab. But... it does not display the color profile that I have used to create the smart object. It displays 'Adobe Color'. When I do not change anything and just click OK, the color profile of the smart object is changed to 'Adobe Color', thus changing the color of the smart object. The same problem probably causes the following: when I open this psd file and convert it from 8 to 16 bits/channel, the color of the whole image changes in the same way. I guess what happens is that Adobe Camera Raw recalculates the smart object to render them in 16bits/channel, using 'Adobe Color' instead of the color profile that I had used before to create these smart objects. All my previously created color profiles did migrate to the new version o

I have Lightroom 5.7.1 and have downloaded the DNG converter 10.2.I can't get the file to launch/open, though. My computer indicates it has finished installing but it doesn't show up in my programs.
Is there a way to open Nikon D850 files in CS 6? 9.12.1 isn't supported by CS 6. I think it stops at 9.1.1.Is there a work around?
Is there a way to change the order of how the Profile Sets are displayed ?It appears that the last Profile Set you create goes to the top of the listMy profiles Pack 2My Profiles Pack 1I wanted the Packs to be in order 1,2,3 etcI know how to change the order of the actual profiles by using the sort field but I cannot see a way to change the order of the actual sets.Is this possible ?
You used to be able to sync without bringing up the options box. Still possible? Keystroke?
Have I done something wrong. Most of my presets show up in as in Lightroom but the classic groups are missing is this correct?
I just updated my PS CC and film simulation profiles for Fujifilm are gone. Did they move them somewhere or it's a glitch?
Hello camera raw team.I am glad to see that ACR 10.3 has a big update. It add a new profile called "Adobe Color". I can't find any dcp files related to it.Can someone tell me the dcp file paths?Best wishes!Chlheng
I had to uninstall Bridge the other day due to some computer issues and since doing that and reinstalling I can't access my presets or create any.Within Camera Raw it is greyed out to right:Under Edit/Develop Settings the "Apply Preset" option is no longer there:And when right clicking on image it's not there under "Develop settings" like it used to be.All three of these options used to give me the option to apply the preset.I've looked all over this forum and the internet trying to find an answer but can't seem to.Any ideas???Thanks!
If I drop a DNG into Photoshop, it opens the ACR and I can see the new profiles. I see my favorites, Adobe Raw, Camera Matching and Legacy.BUT.. if I open the same DNG from Lightroom, either as a file or as a smart object and then open it in the Camera Raw filter, I do not get the option to select a profile. It defaults to Color or Monochrome... The artistic ones are there, but the adobe, camera matching, and legacy ones are not available.Same file... just a different way of getting it into PS...AND.. even the image I dropped in and could select a profile on, once I open the image in PS, and then try to go back to the ACR Filter, those profiles are GONE... it again defaults to just the Color and Monochrome. So if I didn't pick it when the file first opened, I have no option to re-select it.This seems like an issue to me...
I downloaded the tutorial for building my own profiles. I have plenty of LUTs to build my own, not really interested in purchasing more 3rd party ones. I follow these guidelines but when I get to page 6, the documentation shows that I should see a dialog box for "NEW PROFILE" and give me options for the look up table file to load my cube. I only see the "PRESET" interface, not the "PROFILE" interface. Do I need to request some type of a development license or special plug-in in order to build my own profiles? It does not seem to be in ACR 10.3.0.933.
Hello. Just updated the Camera Raw yesterday. I now cannot open the same CR2 files I was working on before the update. None of these files I shot were with Dual Pixels. They should just be Raw files period. Anyone else having and issue? Did you resolve it?I uninstalled and then reinstalled Photoshop. This did not fix the issue.Any help would be appreciated.Rw
