Is there a camera profile in Camera Raw that gives me an image similar to the EOSHD or Cinestyle log picture profiles?I'd like to start grading from a flatter starting point, like the EOSHD picture profile look.Suggestions of any other ways of achieving this are more than welcome.Best,Anton
Hi everyone. It`s obviously I have a problem with ACR converter. When converting a pack of images, some files are broken like this:https://s7.postimg.org/5cbd6zd4b/DM_0084.jpg At first I think that it`s a incident case, but quite a contrary - every time when converting files using ACR from bridge appears this problem.I think Adobe developer should fix this bug.
since downloading adobe dng converter to enable continued use of photoshop cs6 [ new camera]. when cs6 opens image to its raw panel, any of the function icons used, their info dialog boxes remain on the screen and can only be removed by quitting photoshop cs6. Dialog boxes perform correctly when using photoshop main panel. Please can anyone help. Stuart
Do I not see Canon 70d in list of camera models because I am using Win7?
Hello,I've been having problems with Photoshop and Bridge freezing once I go through Camera Raw.This happens with single and multiple images, all three buttons (Open Image, Cancel, Done) cause the programs to crash. So far I've found that with "Use Graphics Processor" unchecked, it works fine. When checked, underneath the box it says "OpenGL: AMD Radeon HD 5670"People seem to leave this information below too so here it is:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHzRAM 4.00 GBThanks in advance for your help!
I have the latest version of CC.I downloaded Olympus RAW files (ORF) yesterday and worked on some photos in ACR. Today I went back to some of them to modify some local adjustments. For some reason the pins are white and there is no way to click on them so I can make modifications. I can't even delete them without removing all my adjustments. When I try to click on them I get a new pin, which of course can't be modified either. I haven't used PS in a couple of weeks but this has never happened before.I hope someone can show me how to fix this.
Hello All,I am currently trying to find the best way to achieve a big task; I have a large number of photos for a client (2500) that need to be be cropped into a square image, but currently all these images all vary in their aspect ratio. In order to avoid upsampling and cropping each image individually in photoshop, I've found a script that will create a 1:1 aspect ratio by adding white margin to the short side of the image.. that's the easy part.SO, I am left with images that have a 1:1 aspect ratio, but now that white space needs to be cropped out. This is where I need help.I was trying to achieve this in ACR because it will allow me to custom crop multiple images while preserving the 1:1 ratio. I need to be able to control/adjust the crop if needed, so auto crop or a same-crop script will not do. The problem is, that because ACR is parametric editor, it does not allow me to overwrite my existing jpegs. The program creates a copy and adds a "_1" to the end of EVERY file and, regardl
I own the standalone Lightroom 6 program. I've updated to version 6.13. The program has never recognized my imported files from any of my three Sony RX100 cameras (I own I, IV, and V) and applied the appropriate lens correction. If I go into the lens profile pull down menu and select Sony, the only camera models I see are DSC-RX1, -RX1R, and -RX1RM2. I would expect that Lightroom has the capability of correcting the lens distortions for such popular cameras but I have struggled in vain to find out what the problem is. Can anyone help?
Lightroom 5.7.1 (and older ones like version 3) fail to get the serial number of the Panasonic GH-1 and GH-3 camera bodys from JPEG or RW2 files (the serial number of the lens is read correctly). Why? Nikon cameras seem to work more thoroughly. Free tools like exiftool can read the serial number of the camera body from JPEG and RW2.
Hello Everyone,I'm kind of beginning to panic because I took hundreds of photos on a recent trip and uploaded them to my computer. It seemed like everything was fine, so I deleted many (but not all) of them from my memory card in order to make room.Upon returning to my computer though, I realized that every time I tried to open a photo, it told me "Could not complete your request because it is not the right type of document." And when I went to other programs to see if they could view the files, it was the same thing--they said it was not viewable or workable in any way.I tinkered a bit, and tried re-downloading the photos that were still on the card. This time I used Digital Photo Professional to do the downloading, instead of copy/paste like I usually do. Suddenly all the photos were viewable. Indeed, when I sent the photos directly from the camera to my cell phone over Wi-Fi, I received a perfect jpeg every time.So while I am grateful that I managed to
Since I installed ACR 10 there are no handles in the radial filter tool visible. If you would like to edit an exisitng filter, it is nearly impossible to find it.
Merci beaucoup!
I have just downloaded 9.9 on my Windows 10 for CS6 and have run the installation but now when I click on a Raw image stored from my Olympus E-M1 Mark II, I get a message "Photoshop cannot open this file". Can anyone help?

Hi Please will you help me.I use CS4 on a daily basis. Yesterday I was able to open an image with no problem. Today when i try to open the same image, the image does not open in the main window. I can see the various layers in the right hand window, but there is a blank window in the main view window. Any ideas?
Now, I want to create a dng file with my camera, and set the AsShotNeutral as follow:1. I get the white balance ratio as GainR, GainG, GainB, and set the AsShotNeutral as: GainG/GainR; 1; GainG/GainB. For example, the GainR = 6508, GainG = 4096, GainB = 7609; the AsShotNeutral is [0.629379, 1, 0.538309]2. The colormatrix is D50 XYZtoRGB as follow: 3.1338561 -1.6168667 -0.4906146 -0.9787684 1.9161415 0.0334540 0.0719453 -0.2289914 1.4052427Then I capture a dng file with my camera, and open the dng with the photoshop. It looks ok, however, when I change the exposure time from 1.40 to -1.40, the bright white become s light pink.
I am using Adobe DNG converter with ACR 9.1 with Canon 5DIV. With many files with certain color transitions I get this fringing/blocking along the color edges. It happens a lot on transitions between blue & yellow edges. When I adjust the white balance, it can reduce the problem in one area but accentuate it in another. For instance, before I shifted the WB to the blue end, the edge along where Statue meets sky had the issue.
I would like to be able to see more, and probably all, of the EXIF data store by my camera. There are many reasons for this; I am sure each person can supply their own!
This problem has been coming and going for a while. If I'm opening a .CR2 file in Camera Raw the interface turns white whenever I drag a slider, push a button or basically do any editing what so ever. If I tab out it goes back to normal, but as soon as I drag any slider etc. it turns white again. If I move my mouse over the sliders and buttons they appear again but the 'framework' around the photo and menus/sliders/buttons remain white as in this screenshot: https://imgur.com/q8D5WfmI've tried changing my photoshop settings but nothing seems to work. It got worse with the latest update as well, before it wasn't as frequent as this. I'm using a dual screen setup (iMac/Eizo) and I've got all the latest updates. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas what causes it?
I'm sorry if this is the wrong community to ask, but there didn't seem to be a specific Bridge community.I am trying to access the unmodified version of a photo and I think it's done using one of the small ICONs on the Bridge viewing panel (shown in the circle below). Can someone please explain (or point me to documentation) what these symbols mean and how to use them? If these ICONs aren't the "secret" for accessing the original photo, any additional help would really be appreciated.THANK YOU!
Hello, just installed Photoshop CC2018 on Windows 7 64bit. I have used Photoshop CS6 until now. When using Camera Raw from Bridge CC2018 or Photoshop CC2018 it seems that Camera Raw is not using the Monitor Profile to display the Photo. As I am working with a Wide Gamut Monitor this leads to highly oversaturated colours on the display (2nd monitor). Viewing the same picture in Bridge CC2018 or opening the picture from Camera Raw into Photoshop CC2018 shows the colours consistent with the results form Bridge/Photoshop CS6.I have found that by simply removing the focus from Camera Raw (i.e. by activating the window of a different program or by simply clicking on the desktop) and setting the focus to Camera Raw again (by clicking in the Camera Raw window) the profile is applied an colours are now consitent with Bridge/Photoshop.While I can use this as a short term workaround I like to know how to solve the problem constantly because without the above mentioned procedure any adjustments in
When converting RW2 files to DNG the converter changes "date created" to to-days date - this is really unwanted. Date taken is unchanged but can't be used, e.g. for naming files. Can this be fixed? ( I can see that this was an issue in 2012 and it still is)
