Installer Plug-ins Nik Collections in Camera RAW 9.10 ?
Why the hack isn't it possible to download the camera raw plug in? Download keeps on stopping after a few MB saying the server cancelled the connection. What is wrong???Please don't say try it again or try reconnecting as I did that a million times now...A quick answer would be great since I need this for work.It used to be good to have a customer support for products you bought off a company to wrk with them and not search a long time to then find out you can only drop a new thread into some forum not knowing I anybody in charge will read it
I am using PE15 with Camera Raw 9.10. In camera raw I don't have icons for lens correction and all of the other icons. All that are available are camera correction, detail, and basic. Why do I not have the other options?
Hi guys, recently I encountered a very disturbing problem with my "camera raw plugin" in Photoshop. Whenever I use the "denoise" slider the computer straight away restarts. Sometimes it happens already when I try to open a dng file or a rw2 file. Sometimes it doesn't occur at all - but always when I use the denoise slider!. Now it even happened when I tried to zoom out of the preview image in camera raw. I am desperate because I don't have any problems with my system other than with camera raw. I tried switching off GPU Acceleration but that didn't help. I work with heavy programs like 3D Studio Max and Davinci Resolve (which I use in combination with dng file sequences) and they never show any problems. It's just Photoshop and I had the same problems with After Effects sometimes...I have the newest Windows Update, I have the newest graphic card drivers, I even reinstalled windows and now there are no 3rd party plugins or anything else on the computer but Windows, Adobe CC and 3D Studio
When exporting down-sampled images, I noticed that images created using Adobe Camera RAW version 9.1.1 through 9.10 are very noisy, lack much detail and micro contrast, far from preview the application shows. The same applies to Lightroom CC, which, however, cannot be forced to show precisely down-sampled previews of exported images during the development process at all.Images which I have originally found the issue with were long-exposure night-time photos involving blurred branches and quite a lot of noise, both of which can be gotten rid of (to some reasonable extent) by down-sampling the image. By resizing the image, setting noise reduction and a bit more aggressive sharpening, I was able to sharpen blurred branches and gain a good amount of detail whilst removing unwanted noise in ACR. The produced images did not match this preview at all, even though additional sharpening was disabled in export settings (results in dramatically more noise). It was then that I realized I probably
Attempting to open an JPEG in ACR and it's wrecking the colors, I'm not sure what's going on. I can open the JPEG in photoshop and bridge and it's normal, but ACR is messed up. Anyone know?
Hi,I've just noticed that when I open Camera Raw 9 from Bridge, the histogram has a syncing symbol on top of the histogram (see screen capture below) just where the highlights are, and I find this very annoying. Sometimes the symbol changes to "pause" and goes back to syncing. After editing the image and closing Camera Raw back to Bridge, the image preview will have this icon on the bottom right, although it didn't show before sending the image to Camera Raw. What do these syncing/pause icons mean? How can I get ride of them? I don't remember having them before...Thanks for helping!
just upgraded to a canon T7i and there is no camera raw support for this model, does anyone have a fix
For the last two years I made the mistake of saving Camera Raw metadata to the Camera Raw Database instead of XMP files while using Bridge CS5 on a MacBook to add keywords and ratings to RAW files on a portable hard drive. I recently tried to view these files on Bridge CC on a PC and discovered that the ratings and keywords could not be viewed on the PC because they are stored in the Camera Raw database on my Mac. Can anyone tell me which folder(s) I need to copy from my Mac to my PC in order to be able to access these ratings and keywords, as well as the file paths?
All the sudden all my .CR2 files from my Canon 7D have a yellow or red tint. This happens in Camera RAW or Lightroom. If I open those same .CR2 files in Canon's Digital Photo Assistant they look fine. How can I get the Adobe apps to not display them with the tint? Thanks.
I have successfully created two camera calibration profiles and wish to remove or rename one of them. For the life of me, I cannot find where they live. I have a MAC and have looked into the Adobe Camera files (see images). Also in my User files there is no library section.... I'm very frustrated. Thanks much.
As most windows tablets and laptops come with SD card readers this would make as a great companion software for dslr's. So I think raw support would be greatly appreciated, maybe as an add on pack?
I am an archivist, working on a large collection of born-digital photos, and have been using the Adobe DNG converter version 9.8 to convert thousands of NEF files to DNG, keeping the default preferences in the converter (Camera Raw 7.1 and later compatibility, etc.). A few days ago, I converted 20567 images in one batch. When it was complete, it said that 20545 images were converted (as shown in this screenshot):I now have a two part issue:1) identifying which 22 images didn't convert. I can't scroll all the way through this on-screen log to see which files it is (it'd be great to have a feature to see where the errors were, or print a full log). I think I am going to have to use a Python script to count the number of DNGs vs. NEFs in each folder and try to work that way, but if there is more robust error reporting in the DNG converter that I'm not aware of, I'm open to ideas.2) figuring out why this issue may have happened? I am certain that all the images were NEF. I thought I may no
I have a TRIAL version of Photoshop Elements 15. Current version of Camera Raw is 9.6.0.625. I have downloaded Camera Raw 9.9 but the program do es not update it. I have tried several times but no way.Second question: When is going to be available Spanish in A P Elements 15?
HiI have just recently Up-graded from Lightroom 4 to 6 (I haven't gone CC because of the on going costs and being an Amateur i can't justify it).But now when I go to edit in CS6 from Lightroom I get the following pop-up message. This Version of LR may require the PS camera raw plug-in 9.9 for full compatibility. Please up-date the camera raw plugin using the update tool a available in the photoshop help menu.Mine being 9.1.1which is the last update for CS6. 9.9 relates to CC so why even have this message pop-up for CS6.At the bottom four options:A Tick box: Don't show againCancelRender using LROpen awayCan use open away as PS6 seems to opens the raw file with no problems??? (as far as I can see anyway). In LR4 it just opened into CS6 with out any messages and was fine. My Camera: is Canon 6D with L series 24-105mm lens.Or do tick don't show again. Thanks Kev
Hi,I have just upgraded to a Nikon D7200 - I was aware before buying it that there can be issues with trying to use this camera's raw files with Adobe Camera Raw, especially on older versions of Photoshop Elements - so I downloaded DNG converter. However when I try to use DNG converter it tells me that there are no supported camera NEF's in the source folder, so I assume DNG doesn't support his camera, although I was led to believe it does (I downloaded v8.7)...so this is no help. I gather the D7200 IS compatible with Adobe Camera Raw v9 - however this version of camera raw is NOT compatible with Elements v11. Surely there must be some way around this? I have been perfectly happy with Elements 11 and don't see why I should have to upgrade just so I can continue shooting raw...any help would be much appreciated!ThanksMark
Hi, I've recently started shooting RAW and importing my photos into camera RAW in photoshop to edit, I usually shoot cinestyle with JPEG and RAW but every time I import a RAW file into photoshop it has a lot of contrast and is way too saturated making it really hard to edit, are there any solutions for this problem? Thanks.
I have been trying to sort this all day today and have given up in previous tries. I bought a new camera about 2 year ago and camera raw stoped working. I then had to import to LR and then choose "edit in PS", to transfer it that way. Im sick of it and really want it to work but my mac will NOT accept the downloaded update. What can I do?[Moderator: moved from non-technical forum Lounge to Camera Raw forum.]
I have an interesting problem that I can't seem to figure out. I have updated ACR plugins on several occasion, it's not rocket science. I just purchased a Nikon D810 and uploaded the most recent plugin v9.9 only it will not open the Nikon .nef files in Photoshop CS6. and Bridge CS6 does not recognize them either. On my desktop I also employ CS3 and it doesn't recognize the D810 RAW files as well. I then tried on another desktop and two other laptops and in all PS3, PS5 and PS6 were used. I of course can see the JPEG files, just not the RAW files.I did not try to use any other software to launch the RAW files including NikonView NX2 as I read that it might cause a problem in some rare cases. I only use Photoshop as my default editing program. Not sure what to think. If anyone has a resolve I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Hi all,I've jumped back from Lightroom to Camera Raw / Photoshop due to the lack of performance updates. Bought the newest macbook pro full specced and still horribly slow. Could not work with it.Any how. i'm happy with my new workflow except for the fact that i cant control sliders with my keyboard as is possible with lightroom (when you click on a name such as exposure you can default change the value by the + and - sign)This is not possible on Camera Raw so far i know. Of course i can select the text field and then use my up and down arrows. but then i always need a mouse to select. any idea's?
I have PSE11 and it runs ACR 7.1 but I have discovered I need ACR 8.1 for my new camera. The new camera is a Panasonic Lumix G6.I don't want to have to buy a new version of PSE if I can avoid it.Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Since a few days I have this problem with raw files. Anyone have any idea? Red go to purple and all pictures are a little bit darker.
This is a technical question, that would be best answered by an Adobe employee (not other Adobe product users), preferably one who worked on creating the official DNG specification in the first place. For a the simplest possible DNG file (a monochrome image), what are the minimum required tags?Obviously it needs these 2 tags in IFD0: 0x014A (SubIFDs) and 0xC612 (DNGVersion). The first of these provides a file offset for the raw subIFD.The second one tells the reader that the file is a DNG file, and what version of DNG it is.Though IFD0 itself can contain a low resolution preview image, I don't think it needs to to fit the official DNG specs (but I might be mistaken about this). Then in the raw IFD one obviously needs to have these tags:0x100 image width0x101 image height0x102 bit depth (this is usually 16 bits per channel)0x103 compression (which must be either uncompressed, or compressed in a way allowed by the DNG specs)0x106 photometric interpretation (which must be 34892 for linear ra
The latest version of acr turns the details in the raw files from my fuji x-t2 mush. Ive search around and this seems to be a common problem. When will this be fixed?
