Camera Raw

hello adobe community,my Camera Raw works very slowly and has delayed responses.It takes 2-4 seconds to display the next photo. Working with Camera raw is unbearable. I have the latest version but I can't work comfortably. I am very disappointed with Adobe because it is not possible to work comfortably with it.I have windows 11, my computer has very good parameters, but even so, adobe packages such as Bridge and Camera Raw are disastrously slow and lagging. What should I do to make Bridge and Camera Raw work perfectly? PC build:Operating system: Win 11 proProcessor: Intel i9-10920X 3,5GHzGraphics card: Invidia 3070 8gbRAM: 128 GBMemory: M2 disk

I mistakenly recorded some photos with the camera set for 16:9 instead of 3:2.  I know that the file itself is 3:2 since Apple Preview shows this and the "Get Info" command indicates that the ARW RAW file is 7952 x 5304 pixels.  Photoshop RAW displays the image as 16:9 with the top and bottom cropped.  I can't find a command that will allow RAW to show the whole image.  Is there such a command or a workaround?  

Hi,    I'm developing a software which can convert raw files to dng format with dng_sdk not use DNG_Convert,but i can't find interface documents about dng_sdk or tutorials about dng_sdk. Has anyone used dng_sdk to convert raw to dng? 

Camera Raw Camera Profiles are missing in version 16.4. (Mac OS Sonoma 14.5) This is an old problem that has recurred in the latest update. The old solution of removing then replacing items from the /~User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw folder does not work.

I updated to photoshop 25.9.1 on my macbook Pro M1 and I don't have generative ai with the remove tool.Anyone got an idea why?  Thanks

Today I updated to Camera Raw to 16.3 on my Windows 11 PC.I noticed that, when using the masking panel, a checkbox for "Show Overlay" appears in the incorrect location and is obscuring sliders. This makes moving sliders difficult if not impossible - see screenshot.Am I alone in observing this or are others experiencing the same?

Anyone else having troubles when editing in camera raw after applying a smart filter? I have the latest version: V25. I use MacOS Sonoma on iMac 2022 M3 chip.  Whenever I apply a smart filter and then open camera raw the loading bar remains static and I have to force quite Photoshop.

I develop and process all my raw files in ART (Another RawTherapee), then export the files to tiff format in order to finalize the picture (healing brush tool - remove, heal, clone one).When I open such tiff files in acr, the first thing I see is that the profile there is not color, as for a raster image, but adobe color, which does not suit me.I can change the profile from adobe color to color, but if I'm processing about 300 images and I'm completely immersed in work, then I might forget to switch the profile.The problem is that if I load several images into Adobe Camera Raw, change the profile for the first image to color, copy the settings to the clipboard (ctrl+c), and then paste them for other images, selecting them, then nothing will change for such other images. Pasting settings will only work for one image, unless several are selected.As a workaround, is it better to use an editor not from Adobe (for example, in dxo photolab I don’t have this problem at all), or am I m

Hi! I have a problem with camera raw in elements 2024. My laptop is to old so my GPU is not supported (Intel HD grapics 4400). So I need to downgrade to a version who supports my GPU. I use Swedish win 10 for information, Downloaded ver 14.5 and run exe file, but it does not replace ver 16.  By some pages at Adobe this should work but it does not. How to fix this issue ?Best regards Olof.

It helps my workflow to be able to jump into ACR as a smart object while I am in there. I had purchased quite a few adjustment brush packs from well-respected photography asset sites. They were all for Lightroom Classic and ACR. I installed in Lightroom Classic, no problem, all my adjustment brushes where there in the masking module. I have well over 100 I think about 124 or more. Looking for "Adobe DNG" cameras supported list. I found a camera list for Camera Raw plug-ins:https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html But I need to use the stand alone DNG converter as I read at the Adobe site:"Adobe provides backwards compatibility for the latest cameras for use in older versions of Photoshop Elements through the DNG Converter" Perhaps the numbering system is one in the same?

Is there any way to move exposure, shadows, highlughts etc slider in ACR with mouse scroll wheel without moving the mouse? Say i click inside the box with value for exposure, i'd like to be able to increment and decrement value with mouse scroll wheel without actually moving mouse.

After hours of working in Camara Raw 14.0 for Photoshop 2022, retouching a photo (and frequent saves in between to xmp), I opened the final result as an object in Photoshop. To my surprise ALL the work I did in masks was gone once the image was opened in Photoshop. Spot removal and all adjustments I did on the Edit-tab had been saved, but I lost 5 hours of mask retouching work. Re-opening the object in Camera Raw did not bring back the masks, nor did reloading the xmp. I tried re-opening the original CR3 in Camara Raw, with the same result. The masks were simply not saved to the xmp-file. I've just updated to Photoshop 2022, so I'm new to the masks feature, but I've been working for years with Photoshop Camera Raw and the adjustment brush and such. I've never had this problem, nor did I do anything out of the ordinary before opening the photo as an object. Is this a know bug? Does Camera Raw use Dark Channel Prior based image dehazing? Trying to better understand what is happening in the "black box" when making adjustments to images. 

Canon released the RF35 1.4 VCM lens this month (June). When can we expect Adobe to update its lens profiles for this lens?

The Iphone 15 Pro Max main camera supposedly has a physical focal length of 6.86 mm, according to this dpreview.com article.  LR / Camera Raw provide a lens profile for the 6.86 mm lens:   But it appears that the Apple Camera app (17.4.1) is recording the lens in EXIF metadata as 6.765 mm when the app zoom is set to 1x, and thus LR doesn't find an automatically matched lens profile:   The same problem probably occurs with the Iphone 15 Pro.   Sample photo: https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/01eJKdmufw5yLvYtvxsJ8o5Dw#Photos   

I have gone back to images I have been workiing on in ACR prior to the Early Access generative remove and found all my heals & clones blown away. Some images have literally a hundred heals (dust bunnies, specks in snow, etc.) that are now gone.   How do I get back to the prior version? I don't like the early release!!!!!
