Camera Raw: CTRL+ALT+O cancels all changes without confirmation Hitting CTRL+ALT+O in Camera Raw opens the image and CANCELS ALL CHANGES without any prompt. Considering that CTRL+ALT+0 is the 100% ZOOM it is way to easy to accidentally lose ALL of your work!!!HOW IS POSSIBLE WORK AROUND?
Aloha! I feel so lost. I cannot afford to upgrade or even update because I know I will lose files and LR catalogs and I need to find a DNG convertor for CR3 files that will work on my OS Sierra 10.12.6 - can anyone help me? Mahalo for trying!
My workflow is this: Shoot 1000+ photos in RAW. Open them all at once in Bridge -> Camera RAW. Select All. Click "Auto". Drag Highlights to 0, Shadows 10 95. Right-click a thumbnail and save them all as JPEG. Click Done. Then I go through the JPEG's and select the few good ones, and move their ARW (Sony RAW) and XML files to a separate folder for editing. However, at this point, when I reopen these in Bridge -> Camera RAW, the XML file doesn't contain the "Auto"-button adjustments. The issue is that I have to select-all and click "Auto" again .. and any manually adjusted individual pictures, this second "Auto" wipes those adjustments and I have to adjust them all over again. On smaller batches where I adjusted a lot of pictures, on the second open I have to find the un-adjusted pictures and manually click "Auto" on each one of them. A lot of labor. I've found that if I put
Hi guys, I've just updated Photoshop. Then, as usual since Adobe created such horrific new versions, I installed Camera RAW 12.2.1. This usually works perfectly well. However, since the latest PS update this version of RAW no longer seems to work and I get the following message when I attempt to open RAW files: Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file Wondering if anyone else has encountered the same issue?
I have Mac OS high Sierra, I have canon 6d mk ll. I want to convert my raw files to dng. Awhile back I had to erase my hard drive and re-install high Sierra. Now I can't seem to find a dng converter that willwork. I got one version older version to open, but it wouldn't let me convert. I could open the folder where the images were located, but that's it. Any ideas?
Hi guys, I'm currently facing an issue with converting .NEF files to .DNG via the DNG converter 14.2 and i was wondering if this is a bug or did i do something wrongly. I'm using:-DNG converter 14.2-Windows 11, 64-bits , OS build 22000.493- .NEF photos from nikon z7 CameraSo the steps I did was to select the folder to be converted in DNG converter, added a suffix in the converted file name and click convert. Afterwhich I loaded up the converted .dng file in to nuke without changing any settings, but the result I'm getting looks glitchy. Oddly the converted file looks fine in photoshop, it's only not working in nuke. I've attached the settings for the converter as well as the expected result vs actual result. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!! Thankyou1

Anyone with a happy experience of how to go about getting this on an older Mac?Would be happy to hear please!
I have a 4800 x 3113 jpeg texture. When I open it in Camera Raw and use Enhance > Super Resolution, the resulting DNG file is 1024 x 664. Huh? This seems like the exact opposite of what Super Resolution is supposed to do. At the very least, I would expect to get output that is the same resolution as the original. Any ideas?
I'd like to see a search function in the presets menu, or a way to create a 'favorites' folder.
The latest version (11) is not supported by my operating system, but I believe dng converter version 10.3 might work on my OS, and will definitely support my camera files. However, I can only find download sites for dng converter version 11. Can anybody tell me how to access versions from last year?
Hi,I am using the latest ACR (11.2.0.135).I like the auto button very much.I know that by default, clicking auto will change all the sliders to a "perfect" fit according to some algorithm.I know also that I can perform the auto change on each slider individually by double clicking on it while holding shift. But, my question is the following:I only want the auto mode to change 4 sliders out of 10.Is there a way to set the settings of the auto button so that it only affects a few sliders and not all of them ? Thanks!Philippe
The CR2 Files of my Camera require Camera raw 11.4. My PSE 10 supplies just Camera raw 6.7. Is there an update possible and availible?
My mac has the latest update to both my operating system and Photoshop. The up sizing feature used to work in camera raw on my system in previous photoshop versions.

I'm having zero success all of a sudden trying to make panoramas with Camera RAW. Nothing has changed as far as types of panoramas I'm making. I get Fail to merge everytime. I perfer to use Camera RAW versus photoshop as I want to keep it in DNG.
What version of Camera Raw works with OS 10.14.6 and can open Nikon NEF files generated by Nikon Z9?
De masker greepjes ontbreken in camera raw, ik kan de maskers niet meer verslepen of vervormen!
I work in Camera raw, through Bridge in Creative Cloud. I easily edit my raw files from my current Canon 7D mark II camera. However, I can not work in a number of images in an old folder with raw and jpg images taken with an old Canon 60D - neither preview in Bridge nor open in Camera raw. When I try to open in camera raw I get the error message "The Camera Raw settings could not be applied because there were no camera raw files or the selected files were disk protected". After a while, the option to even open in Camera raw disappears. This applies to both files in jpg, raw and mov from this folder. Grateful for help!
when I take raw from library which are sharp to develop they look out of focus
I'm using 2011 late model high sierra ( 10.13.6 ) does I'll get DNG converter for Mac book pro for photoshop
I've been trying to convert RAW images (CR2, CR3, NEF) to DNG using the lastest version of Adobe DNG Converter (as well as Adobe Bridge when that didn't work). The DNGs appear to be just fine on my desktop, but when I ingest them into our DAM the images provide a strange thumbnail – often with a higher contrast and yellow tint. Almost looks like film from the 80s.We initially thought it was our DAM, but upon further inspection my engineer tells me our DNG files seem to be neglecting a thumbnail preview in spite of us setting it to Full Size in the converter.Either something is wrong with the converter or my engineer is missing something. Is there someone who I can work with who can help troubleshoot this with me? Maybe at the very least review one of my converted files and tell me if a full-sized thumbnail JPG is held within it?Running MacOS Monterey 12.2.1 on a 2017 iMac Pro.
I am using Camera Raw, but have experienced this issue with LR as well. For infrared photography and film negative inversion, it is necessary to use a white balance value below 2000, the minimum allowed for most Adobe software. The recommended workaround is to create a profile that is already at the 2000 value, so that once applied it will allow the user to lower it even further. Here is a sample image in unedited form (WB at 5050):Same image with WB lowered to 2000: Next, I created a profile with a WB of 2000. Notice the slider is at 5050, but the image looks identical to the previous one - the profile has worked and the WB is at an equivalent of 2000: However, when I attempt to lower the WB further, there is no effect. Notice how the slider is now at 2000 but the image has not changed at all: I'd appreciate it if anyone could provide insight into what I'm doing wrong - this problem has persisted across various updates.
Hi I have a problem with photoshop and camera raw on my Laptop. When i am in photoshop and want to open a picture in Camera Raw it takes more than 10 seconds to open it. If I then want to reopen it in photoshop it takes too long. When doing the same thing from a stand alone Bridge it opens almost directly in Camera Raw. If I then want to open it in Photoshop, it takes a long time. It has been working before and I dont know if the large update of photoshop has anything to to with it What is the differenc between the way PS communicate with Camera Raw end the way Bridge does? I dont know if it is relevant but I have the same programs in my PC and there it is working. I have the same preferences in the PC asin the Laptop I have Photoshop 2022 23.11, Camera Raw 14.1.0.993 and Bridge 12.0.1.246. regards Nils Elsner
Hello, I'm just trying to get a good idea of the space I will need for my picture collection. This way, I can choose an appropriate size hard drive. I'm looking to get a new camera and plan to shoot exclusivley in the largest raw format option. Let's take the Cannon EOS Ra for example or any other 30 megapixel camera. That should be around 6720 x 4480 and the raw file size being about 50MB per image. Is this correct? My main question is what else is involved. For example, I will have to convert all my raw files to DNG so I can edit them in older camera raw software. At that point, I would delete the origial raw file. What would a DNG file size be when converting it from a 30mp raw file? Now, I have just a DNG file. In order for me to edit or view this picture, will I need a copy of the image in another format, such as Tiff? Basically, will I end up with 2 copies for each picture, a DNG and a Tiff? I guess I could edit the DNG, save it as a Tiff and then delete
