This very annoying. I've have been working on hundreds of images going through each one editing in Camera Raw, exposure, highlights, shadows etcthen clicking DONE my setting show on the image, but when I go back into the folder some of the images have lost my chosen settings, they have revertedback to as shot...I'm using Bridge 12.0.3 camera raw up to date & current PhotoshopOSX 11.6.8 the most up to date version for my mac. Can anybody help me please.
HEIC files can already be opened in Photoshop assuming the correct codecs are in place (and also in the Mac version of Camera Raw). It was supported in previous versions of Camera Raw. I spend a lot of time encouraging photographers to have a common workflow, no matter what the source of their image files. Given the ever increasing use of phone cameras to produce image files, losing this functionality really doesn't help encourage the use of Camera Raw and Photoshop.
Please add a color profiling step to the Camera RAW processing panel. This would consist of a step wherein a reference image with a color target (Calibrite, SpyderColor, etc) is selected, and the color swatches designated by the user or automatic detection. The corrected color profile could then be easily applied to the complete set of images being processed. For example: I work in product photography, and we struggle to get colors to stay consistent between cameras, lenses, strobe, and room variation. Currently there is an intensely manual process to color-match images of the same product shot on different sets. The ability to correct these variations with a common color checker target would be extremely helpful. In the video world, these features are becoming commonplace in the color grading process: matching two cameras is becoming as simple as shooting them both at the same target, and making an automated correction, after which the colorist can edit from a common starting point. Has the ability to open HEIC (Apple) files in Camera Raw been withdrawn? I have the codecs installed on Win 11 and both the OS and Photoshop work with the files, but there is no longer the option to open with Camera Raw in Bridge. There is also no longer any reference to HEIC in Camera Raw preferences / file handling.
ho installato nel nuovo mac il pacchetto adobe, ma in questa macchina la funzione seleziona soggetto non funziona. praticamente seleziona tutta la foto.
i have here and at school and imac but i also work at school with my older macbook (2009) with OS 10.10.5; as bridge I have version 7.0.0.93; the photoshop version is 2017.1.5; when I recently try to open a raw file from bridge (cmd+r) nothing happens; when i double click on the file in bridge photoshop opens and i get the message that it cannot open this kind of file; Adobe's apps no longer have camera raw either; who can help me and knows a link to a camera raw that works on my macbook; I have already been in contact with adobe support where after taking over the computer and an attempt to put camera raw on it without further explanation they just closed the session!
My GF has a Nikon Z 6II and she downloaded some NEF files which her Photoshop Elements 2022 opened in Camera Raw 14.1. After making her adjustments she wants to same as TIFF but we don't see that option. The only option we see is .dng (digital negative). How do we save as a TIFF? BTW, looking online we see that some versions of Camera Raw seem to have a Preset option above the Destination field for saving, and a Save file button in the lower left corner. But on hers the file save is in the upper right corner and it produces no Preset option. Thanks in advance.
I am super used to zooming in PS by holding cmd-spacebar and clicking to zoom in and hold alt-cmd-spacebar and clicking to zoom out. Just upgraded my computer and am using a current version of ACR for the first time in a few years and the zoom behaviour is driving me nuts. Is it possible to get the zoom to behave the same way as in PS?
Kun avaan kuvan Photosopista Camera Raw, niin Crop työkalu ei ole näkyvissä paneelissa eikä sitä voi käyttää, mutta jos avaan kuvan Bridgestä Camera Raw crop työkalu on esillä, missä vika?
As in the title says, im trying to remove adobe creative cloud from my pc. however its being halted by saying i cannot remove this program until all corresponding apps have been removed. When I began to edit photos using Camera Raw; it freezes then reboots. I tried turning off the graphic card; it work temporarily. However it started happening again. I was on the chat the Apple; they say it was adobe's issue. I'ver reinstall photoshop. Need help!
Bring back the “save new camera raw defaults” button. Browsing the menu is tedious and buggy for setting a large quantity of identical camera's often the case in photogrammetry rigs. I'm still on Camera RAW 13, and lowest photoshop and Bridge available.
Why does camera raw crop always open as locked, I need it to open as FULL how do i do this please
Hi , We wanted to develop an app which can do dng to tiff image conversion using adobe RGB colorspace. Can anyone suggest how we can do that? [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]
I absolutely adore the new masking features, especially the ability to use the AI masking in a batch. One issue I have is that when I use a color range selection for multiple images, the mask on the other images selects the color range from the same position as the main photo, not the color that is picked. While there may be a use for that, it seems like it would be more useful, or at least as useful, to be able to sync the selected color range. For example, I often will mask skin tones, but I have re-select the color range on each image because it gets the color range from the position, and it may select a shirt, sky, etc. Is there a way to do this that I am missing? If not, I feel like this would be a useful feature.
Hi. I'm new to lightroom classic and i have issues with file size when images are exported .I imported an image as a raw file into my library, watermarked it and expoted it as a jpeg. File size ended up being 203kb. I imported the same image as a jpeg into my photo app, cloned it a little before saving it. This same image is 5.93mb This is happening to all of my files
Two days ago I updated to the new version of Camera Raw. This update sure has made my work flow slower. I use a 5 x 7 crop format often and in the old version the crop format stayed at 5 x 7 aspect ratio unless I used something else. Now the aspect ratio is always at 2 x 4 / 4 x 6 and I have to click to get 5 x 7. This update really isn't an improvement in my opinion and I use Camera Raw everyday. Is there anyway to have a legacy option for the old version in the next update? Please?
Necesito activar mi cuenta de Camera Raw, no permite ediat archivos raw

Cross-posting from this original thread, as I believe it to be a bug. I don't known exactly when Camera RAW started stealing focus or with what version, but the process is very disrupting and slows down my workflow. Until yesterday I used Camera raw normally. Today I have an error (until opening files in Adobe Bridge) as attached. It says: "The function of editing files in camer raw format is not allowed.Editing with the Adobe Camera Raw is possible only if you have a licence to use it".Photoshop and Bridge are working just fine.I have reinstalled Photoshop. All of the Adobe programs are listed as uptodate. What else can I do to use Camera Raw normally (I want to open files from Adobe Bridge with the right mouse click and option: Open in Camera Raw). Please give me an advice, regardsD.
Does the simple vignette in Camera Raw Filter still exist? In older versions of Photoshop, it was insanely simple to do, now I've upgraded and doing a simple vignette seems to be a ridiculously complicated process. Unless you want it stock standard around the corners. Anything that's not centred and it seems to be complex. I can't seem to find anything anywhere about it. Any help much appeciated.
Camera Raw screen, when importing images to Photoshop, is too large for most laptop screens. You have to force close Adobe as you can't get the button to close the window.
