Hi everybody! We just discovered that there is a technical issue with migrating raw files from a Intel processor I-Mac to a new M1 processor I-Mac. The new (M1 processor) I-Mac can't see the attached metadata (XMP files). Furthermore if the images are shared from a Intel processor I-Mac to the M1 I-Mac you can't do anything with those raw files - at least not in Photoshop or in Bridge. This goes that far that we can't even rate the images or assign a colour label. Opening the images in photoshop won't allow you to do any work on the files (or at least you can't save the editing).First we thought it is a file sharing issue but then the same problem accured when we transferred the files via memory card's. The other way round - from the M1 processor to the Intel processor seems to be working just fine. However this is not working in our workflow since both machines are fairly new (less then a year old) but the one with the Intel processor is the way faster machine. So far we spen
I'm using LrC 11.1 on a Windows 10 system with Canon 8-15mm F4 Fisheye USM lens and Canon EOS 5D MKII camera. When processing a CR2 file with Photo> Enhance> Super Resolution the resulting DNG file has a circular negative vigenette applied. I tried with GPU both enabled and disabled with the same results. Camera Raw 14.1 produces a DNG file with the same circular negative vigenette as shown below. If the file is exported to a TIFF file it does not exhibit the vignetting when applying Enhance Super Resoltution. It only happens with raw CR2 files.
Hi there, I just tried out the enhance and super resolution feature on an HDR image and was really impressed, until I found these strange artifacts that can be seen everywhere. I combined 3 images into an HDR image in Lightroom, then edited the photo in Lightroom and exported it as a DNG raw file to then open in ACR and use the enhance feature. When I zoomed in, I noticed the artifacts that are all over the place.I also tried stripping the image of the edits and enhance the original combined HDR, but it still presented those artifacts and lines. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you and best regards,Max I am using a MacBook Pro 16 inch with an AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8Gb GPU and 32Gb of RAM.
HelloI am using LR (v5.7) for my pictures treatment, unfortunately my new camera (SONY A68) is not covered by my LR version.I've seen that Adobe suggests using DNG converter to sort this problem out so I've converted my new RAW files into DNG using it before uploading them into LR.Nevertheless, no matter which setting is selected into DNG converter, when I open the converted DNG file into LR, there is visible quality loss on the picture (no need to zoom in).Except being forced to migrate on LR v6 (with a whole package I don't really need), I would like to know wether there is a real solution possible with DNG converter ?Thank you for your help
Canvas unnecessarily scrolls in Fit in View. 1. Open a file in ACR 14 2. Set to Fit in View 3. Switch to mask tab and select an adjustment brush 4. Click near the top of the canvas and drag upward Result: Canvas scrolls with much of the image moving off-screen Expectation: Canvas doesn't scroll since the entire image is in view already Whenever magnification is set to Fit in View or smaller, scrolling should be disabled.
Again, again, again and again, this is insufferable, I have already lost count of the times that Camera Raw closes unexpectedly with edited photos and I lose everything, I am sick of losing my job because said program closes without warning , This happens since the last update of CAMERA RAW 14.0.0.950 and Photoshop 23.0.0, I have been working in the same way for 15 years and this has never happened, it closes without warning, suddenly, according to what they say happens to More users and they assure me that they are working on it and that in future updates it will be fixed, incredible in "future updates" from which I deduce that I will have to continue predicting my work and my patience while waiting for several months or more, this does not It's serious Adobe gentlemen. My computer is iMac 27 Retina 5K with masOS Big Sur 11.5.2 with a 4.2 processor - Intel core i7 of 4 cores with 48gb ram and graphics a Radeon Pro 580 8GB
I've installed photoshop and camera raw on a new computer. Since then I'm encountering an issue with camera raw. The window that opens when I open a raw file to edit is way to large for my screen. It's to wide and to tall. I can't seem to find a way to fit it to my screen. As multiple functions are out of sight I can't use the software properly.Attached to this message is a screenshot of how my screen looks when I open a file.Looking forward to your suggestions. Have a good one everyone.
I'm a hardcore user of Photoshop Camera Raw, but the new camera raw is very laggy. When I apply spot healing or draw masks with a brush is it very laggy... Even so, that it slows me of doing the work I'm used to do. iMac Pro3,2 Ghz 8-core Intel Xeon W32 GB 2666 MHz DDR4Radeon Pro Vega 56 8 GB
Info - iMac (late 2015) OS 11.6.2, LR Classic 11.1, Camera Raw 14.1.In LR when I attempt to edit in Photoshop 2022 a window appears that tells me I need Camera Raw 14.1. I am confused. Can anyone assist me in figuring out what I might have done wrong? I just upgraded my OS from Mojave so that I could update my Adobe apps and I have run into a few snags along the way but most I have been able to fix. I'm at a loss for this one. Thanks!

i installed the latest version of Lightroom that was release last week i believe, When i try to import or export some jpg files the program hangs. you can wait for hours and it will not complete. Is anyone else seeing this I have do this test on three windows computers. Has anyone seen this problem? I am running Windows 10 on two machines and Windows 11 on the other.
I used third-party brush presets in Camera Raw, and in the new upgrade the narrow dialog box that comes up to select them is TOO narrow -- it cuts off the names. So, for example, for five presets for brightness brushes from Matt K, all with different names, all I see for them is "MK -DodgeBurn Bright..." - the identifiers for the different styles are not visible. This is the case even if expanding Camera Raw to full screen. The box remains narrow. The only fix, it would appear, is to rename all my presets to fit in the available skinny space, which is ridiculous. I'll get used to the overall changes, but please - FIX THIS. Wasn't an issue before the upgrade.
A few months ago I updated all of my adobe apps. They collectivley stopped working, crashing as soon as I launched them. So I went back to the previous version, and they all worked just fine. Photoshop though had a few bars that were transparent, but I was fine with it. I decided to ask a tech guy if he could fix that and he did. Everything went smoothly until two days ago - everytime I try to work on a picture the app crashes. I removed it and re-installed it, making sure it was the version that is supported in the long term. I also tried the suggested procedure when the app crashed, looking for bad fonts, checking whether it was a GPU problem or a plug-in issue but nothing seems to work. What can be causing this issue?
Please help? After downloading my photos in Lightroom I normally go ... Photo ... edit in ... Adobe Ps 2022 This works fine but CAMERA RAW doesn't automatically pop up as a window as it used to.I can still access it but need to go ... FILTER ... Camera RawHow can I get the pop up Camera raw to be reinstalled?CheersAnnemarie
Hi all,Is it possible to change the background color of the Camera Raw workspace to white? There is no "Custom Color" option in the prefs, as there is in Photoshop. One has to choose between 5 shades of gray, but no white. I like comparing my highlights to "paper white" and have it set up that way in Ps. But when I call for the Camera Raw filter (or just when opening a RAW file), there is only the gray, the bloody gray.Any solution? Thanks,WV
wie kann ich Adobe Camera Raw 8.7.1 herunterlasen?
The update introduced, and set as default, a version 2 lens correction profile for the Canon RF24-240 lens which causes the Raw image to display incorrectly by showing an area outside that of the matching camera Jpeg which is blurred and distorted (I have only found this for images shot at zooms of 38mm upwards). This region can of course be cropped out as it is not part of the intended image. Reversion to the previous profile removes the problem.
Não consigo habilitar e aplicar o filtro do camera raw em uma imagem, ja tentei alterar em >editar > preferências mas não tive sucesso.
I want to display full screen images at acr like bridge's preview (shortcut 'space'). Can I do this by some shortcut?
I no longer have the full masking options showing up in ACR. How do I get them back? Now the only options showing up are brush, linear gradiant, and radial gradiant. Thanks!
Hi,I have a lot of presets working in Lightroom CC, I would like to use also in Camera Raw 14.0.1They are all *xmp files, but when I try to import them I get the message Somebody an idea what else I can try? Thanks,Reina
Dear Adobe, I have tried to get some clear answer for the noise issue related to CR3-files. But I have not seen any official report or feedback from Adobe official. When searching on internet you will find various solutions such as use DPP 4 or equivalent for CR3 exporting to LrC or buy an expensive plug-in for LrC. I´m not interested in any of these solutions, I´m interested in Adobe making progress in the development of RAW converter for CR3-files. I have spent several of hours using LrC and its former versions and are intending to continue using the program since it´s have many advantages over other eqvivalent program and easy to use. So, my simple question is: when is Adobe intend to upgrade its RAW converter for CR3-files in order to reduce its present noise?
acr导出照片一张就需要五六分钟,但是进行其他处理时比较流畅(电脑m1mbp)
