Good morning, my computer unexpectedly shut down which resulted in not saving all edited photos in Camera Raw 13.3. Is there a way to recover edited files?
This is probably not the moaning forum but how else do I present concerns to Adobe? What happened to the "Default" buttons in the Basic and the newly renamed Color Mixer panels? In the Basic panel I frequently hit the Auto button and, if I don't like what I see, I need to reset ALL the sliders to defaults with a single click not one at a time please.Yes I know that I can reset the entire image to defaults but then I lose every other edit I may have made. Also where are the extremely useful + and - buttons at the ends of each slider scale? I used to use these all the time. May we please have them returned?
I have an Apple Magic Mouse, which lets me use its upper surface as a trackpad. In older versions of ACR, scrolling with the mouse panned the open image the same way it still does in Photoshop. Starting in 2020, scrolling the mouse in ACR began changing the spot-removal brush size and adjustment brush size instead of panning the open image. I want mouse-scrolling behavior to go back to the way it was in ACR and still is in Photoshop. (Oh, sweet consistency!) Why can't Adobe give me the option in ACR to have mouse scrolling work the way it used to, which is the way I want it to? I searched and found this problem raised in forums in 2020, but as far as I can tell Adobe still hasn't provided that option.

Hi all,After todays Photoshop CC update, opening Raw files result in having "Matrix" displayed under profile in the Adobe Camera Raw window. In the previous version, the available Adobe presets were correctly shown for my Canon EOS 5D Mark III and Sony A7 III raw files. From what I see, the Adobe Application support "Camera Raw 7" folder contains the required profiles. They are also instantly available and accessible, when opening these files via Lightroom CC.Reinstallation of Photoshop CC as well as manual installation of the Camera Raw module and DNG Converter did not solve the issue. Also trashing the CC preferences did not work to make them appear again.Environment- iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015- macOS High Sierra 10.13.14- Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 19.1.5- Camera Raw 10.4 It would be great to find a solution, how to make them appear again. Thanks for your help!Best,Lars

I scan old photos at high resolutions and save them as TIFFs to restore in photoshop. When I open these photos from Adobe Bridge CS5.1, they first open in Camera Raw, which I use to make some adjustments, and then open into Photoshop. Most times, but not all-say if the photo is a square-the resolution changes, thus changing the image size as well. Sometimes it makes the image large, and other times it decreases it. I have to go into image size and put the resolution back to what it was scanned at to regain the actual size of the old photos. This is tedious. How do I get Camera Raw to just keep the same resolution/image size that the image was scanned at?Thank you for any suggestions!
I cant remember which update it was, but it was a couple months back and cant zoom out anymore past 6.3%I'm sure I could before as I would have probably noticed this behaviour as its driving me crazy! Why cant we zoom out like you can in photoshop, its capped at 6.3% and I can edit with my entire composition in frame 😕😕
I have noticed that the thing that takes the most time when I'm editing multiple photos from the same set, is scrolling through and finding the preset I've created for that set.Does anyone know a faster way to do this?Or Adobe, can you create a search bar for me to type the name of my preset? Just thought I'd throw that suggestion out there.
I don't understand this. The orignal place for the new Premium Presets (and the the old ones) are "outside" my username. My own Presets have to be placed under my username to see them. And what are alle the "Index- ..." files?
I recieved a xmp file that needs to be added to about 700 photo's.Is there any way to add the file to the photo's in a batch or automate the process?Maybe in Bridge? I need to do this about twice a month in the future and want to speed up the process since now the manual way is taking too long.Im working on a Mac with the latest CC.
Hi there 🙂Maybe someone will know that... is there a way to make keyboard shortcut to specific preset in acr or specific adjustment brush from those made by me ?There are shortcuts to Presets Panel ( shift + P ) and Adjustments Panel ( K ). But i'm looking for some way to bind a key to select specific brush or preset 🙂 Thanks! A.

Why is it that my GPU is supported by all Adobe products except Camera Raw? My GPU is Geforce Gtx 1060 6gb Dual Oc Pci Express 3.0 and I'm using Windows 10 and Camera Raw 13.3.
Hi,I am having a hard time matching the white balance settings in camera raw to match the white balance used to make the shot with my a7iii (latest firmware). Here are my original files (RAW + SOOC jpeg):https://drive.google.com/open?id=1nFpZ1FT5POgq0gBSF_ynPjiJvZXdOtlaHere are the colors that I get when opening the RAW in the Sony Edit RAW editor without touching any sliders (i.e. white balance as shot):(this is the colors that I shot with and this is what I would like to keep)Here is the same RAW file opened in the latest camera RAW (with the camera vivid profile):It looks like the white balance white balance sliders are "saturated" (i.e. in the extremities) and cannot render the white balance properly.I had set a custom white balance in camera, so I don't know if that was a probem...I hope not ?:So, can anyone help me figure out to obtain the same white balance in camera raw as the white balance that I shot with ?Thanks a lot for your help !Philippe
I have tried importing presets that I purchased. The instructions seemed simple enough: choose "Import profiles and presets" from the profile menu. Select the Zip file (The unzipped folder isn't an option). Import completed, return to the profile menu, all that appears is the default options. If I try to reimport the presets, I'm told "Already imported." I found them in my User library under Application Support>Adobe>Camera Raw>Imported Settings.I tried to move them to the library on my hard drive, wherein I found the default settings in the Camera Raw folder under Settings, but they weren't recognized there either. Any thoughts. Using the latest versions of Photoshop and Camera Raw
I can't see grain when the image fits to the screen. The only thing happening is that the image becomes less sharp when moving the sliders. When i zoom in to 100% the grain is visible.I already disabled GPU acceleration without success. I'm on Win10, latest ACR, latest Geforce driver.Dell XPS 15, I5 6300HQ, GTX 960 2GB
I have a 2019 iMac with a 3Ghz Intel Core i5 processor and OS 10.14.6. Today I downloaded several versions of the DNG Converter from Adobe's site and from link's in the community discussions, but none resulted in a program that recognized my raw files by the DNG converter. I'm mostly trying to convert Canon 70D and Powershot G7 X Mark II files. All my raw files are grayed out. I've tried restarting the computer and changing the file locations, but they won't open.
Recently, show clipping stopped working for me in Lightroom. I've now tracked down the problem and it seems to be a problem in Camera RAW too. It seems to be a bug related to certain camera profiles. If I use the newer Fuji profiles (Classic Neg or Bleach Bypass), clipped areas no longer show, even if I push the exposure, black and white points etc all the way to the end of the scale. To replicate this, just take an image with a fairly broad histogram. Open in Camera RAW with a standard Adobe profile. Push the black point or white point slider to the end, and the clipping areas will show in blue and red. Now change the profile to Camera Classic Neg, and the colors disappear.
How do I download the update for Camera Raw for Lightroom 4? I cannot seem to find a "download" button. I seem to get sent in circles. Thank you.
I use CC and raw is updated to 13.3. I am now having issues trying to crop in raw. The Image floats up/down when attempting to crop, and only after clicking on the image multiple times does it stop, and apply the crop where ever it may stop. This is beyond frustrating and makes it nearly impossible to accurately crop. I am set for automatic updates, so I'm not really aware if this started after the update or not.
I'm trying to update Photoshop/Bridge CS6 to ACR 8.7.1, supposedly the last version that works. Bridge won't show any Nikon D600 .NEF files as is. The old links to this update don't work, so am I wasting my time? Or is the 8.7.1 updater still available somewhere out there? Thanks!
