Hi, I'm having this issue with Captivate and Chrome 73.0.3683.86 (Official Build) (64-bit).The course will freeze on loading (published in SCORM):or load an empty background and stop (reporting disabled):At the same time it works in IE, Firefox, and when uploaded online it also starts working in Chrome too. It only affects launching in Chrome locally. Has anyone encountered anything like this?

Hey all,When trying to install the trial for Adobe Captivate I am getting an error popup saying that I have to close AggregatorHost.exe. I do not know what that is. I am not turning it on in any way and I do not know how to turn it off even if I could. The error code is 131.Please help, I am into E-Learning for 5+ years and I would like to try out this software. Thanks!

HI team. I being an E-Learning content developer in an organization have recently got a new project for me from our old client which has become a challenge for me. Coming to the issue, the client has given me an old module that has been previously made to work on Adobe flash player. As Adobe has removed the flash player support, that module is no longer working. As the client wants that module to work again, I've recreated the module by using the screen recording of the old module and recreating it on captivate. While I try to preview it on captivate tool, the module is working perfectly and there is no issue and I was able to reach the last slide without any issue. But when I publish the file to LMS, after few slides it is giving me errors on random slides which redirects me to the initial slide. I've tried and checked all the possible options and published the file again, but still getting the same error. If the issue is coming at a particular slide, I could have check

HiI have started using the Advanced Answer Show Feedback message in my modules, and it all works perfectly. The issue I am having with this option is that the Feedback message stays on the screen until the learner clicks to make it disappear, and then they must click Next to go to the next slide.  People are complaining about having to click twice on quiz slides to advance to the next slide. Is there a method, or some scripting, that can allow the Feedback message to stay on the screen for a few seconds, then disappear on its own, so the learner only has to click once on the Next button to advance to the next slide. I personally dont mind clicking the slide twice, but I have 1,000 learners who mind. Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.  I am trying to get our Flu 2021 Campaign kicked-off. Deb 🙂

Gooday everyone, I am very new to Captivate. I have The latest version downloaded this year.When wishing to preview HTML in browser, project loads ( around 60%)Then FAIL message. How Can I trouble shoot to fin the problem page?We are grouping text/svg/png and using in a click reveal sequence.Could that be the problem? Looking forward to feedback!Thanks so much Shona 

I'm using Captivate 6 to create a html5 project in which I use the new "short aswer question" feature. Inside the html5 file the text box for the short anser is covering the correct/ incorrect captions for this question. The feedback text for this question is very big so I cannot make smaller caption boxes. I've already tried to "move to front" the captions and to "send to back" the text  box inside the master slide for the questions but without any result. I looks like the z-index of the text box for the answer is always bigger thant the one for the captions.Anyone has a solution for this issue?Thank you very much!

Bringing this up because the last thread on this same topic was 2014. Has anyone had success uploading an HTML5 Captivate project to a Google Site? I am trying to load interactive learning modules to a newly created company Google Sites page, and I am not having much luck, even following the recommended workflow listed in the 2014 post. Has anyone had recent successes, or have any tips to work with Google Sites to make this work for our organization?

Hello everyone!I have this project with 10 slides and I want to use a Shared Action. Each slide is a cutomized question where the user plays an audio twice. I have managed to create the advanced action for the first slide, as follows:_var_audio= with default value of 2;Then, the conditionIf _var_audio==1;play = selected audioDecrement  _var_audio by 1;disable = selected button (there is one play button on each slide; each with a different name).hide = selected button ElsePlay = selected audioDecrement  _var_audio by 1 1. On the second slide, I tried to reset the variable _var_audio on an enter slide by incrementing it to 2 (didn't work).2. Should I create a variable for each audio on each slide? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.    

I have a captivate project, which when previewed on my computer works fine. However, when try to upload it to an LMS site that works with SCORM, the published html5 can't be uplodaded. A way to uplodad files is compressing them. I have tried the following: 1. I published it as zip file, which seems ok, but when uploading it a SCORM validator message comes up. 2. Published it as HTML5 and then compress it. On my side (Mac), I can't compress it due to a undefined error 0. Any suggestions or ways to solve this issue. Thanks in advance. 

Hello all,When I try to add a drag and drop question, I receive the following error: Failed to create key SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Presenter\11.0.This occurs if I try to create both a graded and a survey question. This also does not happen when attempting to create any other question types (True False, Multiple Choice, etc.).If anyone can assist me in fixing this, I would greatly appreciate it!Cheers,Kelly

Hello,We have a software demo where the user follows along. On one slide they are to press the backspace key. The slide is very simple. It is a screen shot of the software and then after they hit the backspace key the 'on success' is jump to next slide.The action works in edge, but does not work in firefox. Thanks in advance.

I've recorded several software simulations and now want to have multiple actions accepted as correct in Training/ Assessment mode. For example, to select, you may click the selection, then click the OK button, or double click the selection. Currently it only validates the option I used in recording the simulation (as expected)

Do I need to download Creative Cloud to use ADobe Captivate? If so, are there other things I should also download to get the most out of Captivate? I work for a company that is just starting ELEarning and I am learning too.Thank you

Hi,Following the Adobe Captivate workshop held recently, i downloaded the latest trial version. As I work on the Responsive project, I am unable to:1. create child fluid boxes, the fluid box option disables itself. So I cant do a 3 step hierarchy... even though its was demonstrated in the workshop.2. I cant covert an image to a button either, that option is missing too, though it was shown in the demoI have enabled the custom workspaces option, but its still the same. Is this because I am working with a trial version? 

In my Captivate 2019 project I have custom "next" and "previous" buttons. They are programmed to pause the timeline, so learners can take their time reading the content before clicking "next". I have a TOC with navigation enabled. I'd like learners to be able to navigate back and forth between slides through the TOC if they want to. However, when I click a slide through the TOC, the buttons disappear and the timeline does not stop. I attached a video to show what is happening. I had to censor the content of the slides, but I am sure you can still notice the custom next and previous button disappearing, and the timeline continuing.

Hi all,So after much struggling, I have finally got my E-Modules to load on SharePoint Online and I can supply documentation to anyone that might be struggling with this - There is one small problem that I am having, instead of SharePoint loading my svg files, it forces users to download them which doesn't display the files at all. Below, I will go into full explanation on what's happening.Midway through my e-module, where you see the 'Black titles', the svg images would need to be loaded there - Instead, they all are forced to be downloaded and they don't display any content.This is how it looks when I run it locally without SharePoint:Has anyone come across an issue like this? All help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone. I suspect that the variable cpComndMute, (triggered by a button, for example) doesn´t have any effect on audios that have been activated by buttons or advanced actions; the cpCmndMute seems to function only for audios placed in the timeline. Is that the case?

I have created a number of quizzes in Captivate 2019 and published each as a SCORM 2004 V4 file for use in Workday Learning LMS. One particular package containg a 5 question quiz reported 2 quiz questions inaccuralty. The inaccuracy is strange in that the questions and answers are completely different from what are presented to the learner. The questions and answers reported apear to belong to either another quiz or were the questions in the Captivate file prior to being replaced during the creation process.  Has anyone experienced a reporting anomaly such as this before? I did test the SCORM  file in a sandbox enviroment in a new course without any reporting issue. I also changed 2 questions, published and replaced the SCORM file in the LMS in an attempt to see if I could recreate the problem. However, once the modified file was uploaded and attempts were made the new questions and answers showed up in the reporting.  Any help or insight is apprecated.&nb

I have several MP4s that I created with Capivate but I lost the orginal Captivate file...is there a way to convert an MP4 back to a Cpativate file?

I have set up a new blank project with the same size dimensions as another project I have. I want to import the question pool from the other project into the new project. So I go to Quiz - Import Question Pools. I import the question pool but it completely removes the formatting from the questions. I now have the default "Blue Veracity" formatting to my questions. I do not want this. I do not want it to remove the formatting of the imported questions, I want it to import the questions as they are formatted in the other project, with the same background as the other project etc i.e as they are in the other project. How do you do this please? I cannot see a way.Thanks.

I have a project containing slides with a video in it.  I inserted the videos as When I publish to video (mp4) and play, before each video starts, I get the buffering icon.  This disrupts the flow.  I am using Captivate 2019 version. Does anyone have the workaround? I tried the below but nothing solves the problem.
