Bonjour,Est-il possible d'ajouter une police dans Adobe Captivate  ? Je ne vois pas comment faire.Merci. Is it possible to add a font in Captivate ? I don't see how to do it. Thanks. 

I know it is possible to add a text box that show the slide nr but it would be great if this was just an built in function in captivate that you could turn on and off. Maybee I got it worng but when adding a textfield in a project with 100 slides. I then need to go back slide for slide to remove it?BRRobert

Hi, I have a problem using the Adobe Captivate on my Macbook Pro.Mac System: macOS Catalina 10.15.3(19D76)Captivate Version: 2019 Release 11.5.4.613 When I start to creat a video demo, it pops up a problem says the Webcam is Busy, but actually I did't use/open any Apps or Any softwares but Captivate. I attached a picture regard the problem I met. It would be highly appreciated if anybody do knows how to fix this issue. 

Hi, my IT colleagues have granted me Adobe Captivate on subscription basis. I cannot find Adobe Captivate in Creative Cloud. I have managed to find somewhere to download it, but it asks for a serial number. My IT colleagues are at a loss about where this serial number is found. Please guide me on how to move forward. Hello Community,I have several projects with multiple slides, and I'm looking for a way to have all the objects in the timeline to start at a specific time (for example, 00:05/00:01 second gap).All the objects in the timeline appear from 00:00 by default, and currently these are being adjusted manually using mouse of keyboard shortcuts, which is time taking. Hi....We had license for Adobe captivate 7 and created video files and published in SWF format. But As you know the Flash Player is not supported in 2021 year. We dont have Cptx source file as of now. Is there any possiblity that we can convert the SWF format file into html5 without having Cptx source file.? Please advise.

So I have completely close captioned a 5 minute video. The edit has changed and I have to replace the current video with the new edit. Seeing as CC is directly linked to the video object (slide video) currently in place it appears that there is no way to swap a newly edited video in its place without losing all the closed captions which are linked to the video. I have tried to "export" the CC information but it says there is no CC information to export. Very confused. How do I do this? Or have I found a new feature that needs to be added to the software?Joe

Hi all - Is it possible to have a hotspot quiz question auto-submit once the user clicks in the right area? By default it looks like an animated bullseye graphic shows up where the user clicks, and then they have to click "Submit" to see if they got the question right or not. I'd like to change this. For reference, my question only has one hot spot. I'm asking learners to locate a specific area on the front of a credit card. Thanks in advance!

Gentlefolk,I see this has been discussed before, but with no strong interest in munging variables, I was wondering if there were a fairly easy solution implementation of the one-course-many-quizzes-one-score question. The most common solution I have read about is having one course split into several projects, each with its own quiz. This solves the problem of, with failure, just returning the learner to the top of the related quiz, and not forced to take the entire course over again, that is the result of having one quiz spread among several modules in one project.But I don't know how multiple projects can be folded into one SCORM project that would result in determining a final score for the course that is composed of several modules, each in their own project. Hello,I have completed my first Adobe Captivate 9 project and cannot figure out how to get it to play on our web server. We checked on Google Chrome and the file imgmd.json is coming back as 404.We have enabled .json files to work on our website. The module works fine when I play it internally but when it is uploaded to the web server, I get constant loading screen.  My IT department doesn't know anything about Captivate and this has gotten a little too technical for me. Does anyone know what I need to do to get the module to play?Just a few more pieces of information.1) I'm not using an LMS because there are no quiz scores or information we are collecting2) The project file is about 40 mb3) My company's website is httpsAny ideas?

Hi Captivate Gurus,When I drag an object in the timeline (or attach audio that makes the object last on the screen for a specific amount of time) is there a way to keep the same relative position of all ensuing objects? Currently if I drag an object to make it last longer on the slide (say the time the instructor cut-out is on the slide initially before an activity ) no other objects change on the timeline, and therefore th         ey end up overlapping.Let me know if that doesn't make sense. 

Hi Everyone When I start to record the screen as a video, it doesn't record the whole screen only the last open window, unless I did a capture of it. when I play my record, I hear my audio in the background but can only see the capture, what captivate has done before I have finished to record. also my mouse isnt visible, my little dear mouse 🙂 where is the problem what should I do`? thank you all for the support  RegardsMehtap

Hi!I’m using Captivate 2019 on Windows 10.I exported an ILIAS learning module as XLM file and tried to import it into Captivate. This, however, does not seem to work: The error message “XML cannot be imported” shows up.  I could also export the learning module as SCORM or HTML file, but am not sure how to import it into captivate.... Here's the XML code:        Is there a solution to this problem? Thanks!Lea 

Hello,I am wondering if there an elegant way to pause audio that is triggered by Play Audio action attached to a button?On my timeline I have Introductory audio that explains why learners should click one of the 2 buttons on the stage.Button 1 plays Audio 1 and changes the state of a graphic to state 1Button 2 plays Audio 2 and changes the state of a graphic to state 2I am able to pause the introductory audio using the Captivate Player ControlsI would like to pause the audio that is triggered by the play audio action (Audio 1 or 2) attached to the buttons using the Captivate Player Controls.Is this possible?Regards Richard RambarranModerator: Please do not post credentials in a public forum!

Hi, In Captivate 9 I see that the slide advancement happens only when you click Forward in the playbar. I want some slides to advance automatically. Any clue how that can be done?

I haven't encountered this yet while building other courses.I've added audio to a couple slides.  I can play the slides from the timeline and I hear the audio as expected.  When I do my typical "HTML5 in Browser" preview the audio is not playing.  Any advice?  I'm guessing something simple is going on but I haven't had this happen to date.Thanks

Hello, I know you can embed links from an exterior website into a slide for remediation purposes. However, I have a pdf file (not published on the web)with built-in hyperlinks that I would like to use for remediation. Can I "pack" the pdf into the captivate project file and use the pdf links in the same way I would with an external website link? If so, how? Hello! Due to the discontinuation of Adobe Flash Player, there are certain Media Objects in an ILIAS Learning module that are not accessible anymore. Those Objects (mostly clickable, interactive Pictures) were originally designed in Captivate, exported as SWF and then inserted into the ILIAS learning module.I’ve tried to publish the Captivate project as HTML5 content, however, it is not possible to insert/embed HTML content into ILIAS. Therefore, I decided to create a whole new learning module in captivate but would like to insert the original Media Object/interactive images next to e.g. text. This is roughly what it should look like: I now have several different captivate files (one learning module file and the different interactive images files). What I’ve done so far is trying to export each “interactive image” file as HTML5 content and then inserting them on the corresponding pages of the learning module (via Media: HTML5 animation & Object: Web). Loading.... message appear continously while inserting a HTML animation with extension (.oam and .zip) . It is display only the loading message after insertion. Animation is not visible to us even after a long time and It is also not visible after publishing the capativate file in the HTML5 format. Please check for it and share your experiences

One of my clients has a series of tutorial movies - no user interaction and no SWF features that I know of apart from a widget to play/pause/rewind etc., which is easily removed. Their software is embedded on a PC which may not always have Internet access, so the tutorials need to be accessible in the same way. HTML5 would be ideal as the file sizes for MP4 videos are enormous in comparison. If I use Captivate 2019 to create a movie in HTML5 output then it plays fine in a browser window but there's no control over playing and pausing etc.One answer I think would be to use an HTML5 player application to run the movie on the PC and give the user some control. However, I am told by the software team that the format of the HTML5 files from Captivate is not "standard", but is a custom format of some sort which is not suitable for use with a player. Hey,I have this weird issue I hope someone can help me with.I have a drag and drop interaction which is included in quiz, with a single attempt possible. When the user goes to the next slide after submitting the drag and drop quiz and would then return to the drag and drop slide, the drop sources should be placed on the drop targets where the user placed them. Thusfar everything works and behaves like it's supposed to... When I either move the drag and drop slide to a different position in the film strip, or change the slide after the drag and drop slide to a different slide, Captivate no longer 'remembers' the submitted drop source location when returning to the drag and drop slide. I am using Adobe Captivate 2019 11.5.5.553 release and the issue appears both on OSX and windows. The project is HTML5. I hope someone has any idea how to help, thanks in advance!

I have the following problem. I have successfully exported a Captivate application that is on an FTP server. It works fine on Windows and Android devices but not on iOS devices. As soon as the application is to be launched on an iOS device, a black screen follows with a play button, but it does not respond when pressed. On an older iPhone, the application could be executed, but the font was completely different and the interactive 360° views (VR) could not be started. What is the suggested file size maximum for Adobe Captivate 2019? Hi everyone, it's great to be back in such a helpful forum. I haven't used Adobe Captivate since version 6 or so. Back then the recommended file size maximum was <50 MB. After 50 MB, weird things would start to happen. This was a general rule that I found in these forums back then that was extremely helpful. Now we are using Adobe Captivate 2019. Can anyone tell me what the recommended file size maximum is for Captivate 2019? Thank you all for your support.
