Hello everyone,I was so excited to create my first project in Captivate 2019 which is so amazing comparing with Captivate 9 which I have worked with a lot in the past.I am unable to preview or publish my Captivate 2019 responsive and non-responsive projects. I am receiving this error:Sorry, the website www.html5temp736033715965publish.com cannot be foundI would appreciate any help.

Can the completion settings be set to Pass/Fail in Captivate SCORM 2004 4th edition?  If so, how do you change the settings?  We are moving from Cornerstone LMS to SuccessFactors LMS and were told that all settings must be changed to Pass/Fail in order for the faillure status to pass to the LMS.  Has anyone had this issue?  If so, how did you resolve it?  We also have courses setup with restricted attempts (i.e. 2 attempts), however it seems that SuccessFactors doesn't acknowledge the limited number of attempts and allows the user to retry the course as unlimited, by showing a "Continue" button.  Any help is appreciated as we are at a lost and need to resolve this issue ASAP.

Hi!  I'm new to Captivate and am trying to create a question and answer slide that will include four buttons for the user to choose from but requires selecting two of those four in order to advance to the next slide.  In other words, in order to get the question right, two specific buttons must be chosen out of the four.  It seems like drag and drop may be one way to achieve this (although to be honest I'm not sure if that is necessarily true) but I don't want the drag and drop feature.  I simply want to use four smart shapes turned into button that will show a success message and advance when the correct two buttons are chosen. Please help!  

Hi all- I'm troubleshooting an issue that users are experiencing with the Review Quiz button on the results screen in Captivate 2019.  For some reason, when you select the review quiz button the first time it comes up, it takes you to the next slide (which is the last slide of the project).  If you hit the back button and then press the Review Quiz button again, it actually takes you to review the quiz.  I'm stumped as to why this would be happening....Is there somewhere that I should be setting the review quiz settings? I do have the Quiz Pass or Fail settings action to continue, but I wouldn't think this would prevent the Review Quiz button from functioning. Since the review quiz does work when I go back to it, I know my quiz slides are setup properly. Thanks!

Hi there.I am new to captivate, so hopefully my question isn't too basic! In my math videos, I want students to be able to try some questions on thier own. I would have a button on the question that will reveal the answer to the question, but I want them to have the choice to move on if they have the correct answer or see a video or slide with the worked out solution if they choose.  Here is that pathway I would like to use:What would be the best way to accomplish this? Is there a better way to do this? Thank you kindly for any suggestions you have. I am slowly learning! Peter

It is impossible to install Captivate 2017 on my laptop. I have tried several tomes and each time I receive an error message code 103.Is there anybody who can help me install this programm on my laptop? I need it badly for a project I am working in!

I just installed a fresh copy of Captivate 11.5 and when I try to download charactor assest, a blank download status window pops up but the system freezes and it doesn;t work.  I tried looking for other posts about this issue and I found one that said to clear the 11_5 character folder and run a "Clear Preferences" file but unfortunately that didn;t work either. Can anyone please tell me if they were able to figure out how to fix this? Thanks. 

I'm very new to Captivate and I'm using 9.We want our projects to hide the project skin so the learner will always have to use the buttons on each slide we designate for the next step(s) to take.  I don't think taking away the project skin stop the auto-play of the project though. Will placing a forward or backward button do that automatically?

Aside from creating a text caption, copying it several times, editing the contents (several times), aligning the captions, and then sequencing the appearance of each caption on the timeline, is there an easier way to create a "Progressive Disclosure" slide in which one text caption after another appears? This can be done in PowerPoint but I don't think the "animation" from PPT can be imported into Captivate. My method of creting multiple text captions and sequencing them on the timeline is tedious and time-consuming. I am hopeful others have spotted a quicker (and slicker) way to do it. I am using a button to show/hide a webobject, which is a youtube video. The hide command does not stop the video audio, causing the video to disappear (which is ok) but the audio continues forever..I am using the webobject insert feature, not the youtube learning interaction plugin.

I am creating a new project from powerpoint and some of the pictures are being dropped from slides with JPG images. Not all of the pictures are dropped. I have tried in both Captivate 9 and 19. What do I need to change to get the pictures to import?

So this error message started appearing today. I can't log in to my account in adobe captivate 2019. I uninstalled and then reinstalled but to no avail, I still get the same message. I've restarted and I've signed out of creative cloud app then signed back in and again, to no avail. Any suggestions would help.   

I want to allow a user to revisit a quiz slide they have already answered and change their answer if they shoose to do so. They have already answered the question, and have been notofied if they have answered it correctly or incorrectly. A few questions later, they decide to return to that question and c hange their answer. Is there scripting/advanced action/something that can be doen to allow this?

Sorry for the totally novice question - I am looking to develop an online course but I use exclusively Macs at home. It seems that Presenter is not Mac compatible - is that correct? Is Video Express a similar product - how do they differ? What other options are available to me?

I am having this inconsistant font substitution pop up only when I save clients older files in Captivate 2019 and then reopen them. Please help as I am not able to replace the fonts and on a deadline as usual 🙂

I am not sure how the both talk to each other.. are they seperate If i am developing the training/ eleraning module onto captivate how do I as a business check my employees have completed the training, where is this all recorded?once i develop the elearning onto captivate, can I save this on my desk top and  distribute by email.I am still not of the understanding how this all works together, ie: development / distribution / recording of information?denise 

After quiz, user have to input email and name in dialogueBut I don't want that.In my platform users should login before taking quiz so can use their email and id with my platform db.Is it possible?So After click submit answer button or finish, it goes to my server.Thanks

I am trying to publish as a video but it just sits there at 0% when generating video for upload. Why is it doing this? I tried one project and it generated for two days getting to 68%. How do you fix this?

How to import math equations in Captivate 2019? Since MathMagic is not present in captivate 2019, is there any way I could incorporate math equations in Captivate 2019? Thanks in advance.

I'm working on a project which has a couple of videos followed by 4 quiz slides. For some reason, the submit button in one of the quiz slides unexpectedly disappears. The settings are the same on all the quiz slides, so not sure why this may be happening.  Am I missing something? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm working in a responsive project and having trouble with the placement of the exit button. What works in the destop version does not work in the mobile version. Is there a solution to this? Thanks. 

What is the maximum file size for a SCROM package? I'm working on a project which has a couple of slide videos and 4 quiz questions. The SCROM package is around 290 mb.  The client has complained about buffering issues with the videos. Could it be the SCROM size or the LMS (number of users on the LMS) causing the buffering issues? Thanks.

Hi folks, this is my first Captivate module and in the Captivate Preview my advanced quiz slides work fine (advance on correct answer). However when I upload to SCORM for my leaders to view and approve the module the quiz slides will not advance on a correct answer. I contacted SCORM and they say it's a Captivate issue. Can anyone help me? I have created another module with non-advanced quiz slides which work fine in SCORM BUT the physicians needed me to create different responses for each incorrect answer in the first module, hence I used the advanced options. Hello,    A co-worker aske me this question about captivate and i dont' knwo the answer. They told me about Ispring (https://www.ispringsolutions.com/), and they said that this prouduct allows you to inmpr a .pdf and export out a API module.   Can Captivate do that?   thanks jonathan

I have to use the advanced slide option as there is a different response to every answer a person chooses. I have set the quiz slides to go to the next slide once the correct answer is chosen and when they click anywhere on the slide. I can get this working sometimes in the preview but when I sent it to the approval group and they view in the SCORM viewer some slides don't advance when you click on them. I have looked at all my slides and the set up seems the same. Can you tell me what setting might be hampering this. Here is a screen shot of my set up. (now I just tested it and no slides are advancing after a correct answer!!!). This is my first Captivate project, thanks for your help,
