Hi All, My LMS is telling me the following:  With regard to duplicate completion, my team has provided the following feedback.This course does not have a mastery score however, it is sending the partial score and lesson status multiple times in a session. As per Implementer’s Guide, partial score and multiple lesson status are not recommended.I don't know what they are telling me to change. Their Implementer's Guide isn't very clear. I'm using Captivate 2019. I've attached a few screenshots of my settings. Any help would be apprciated!        

Has anyone seen the issue of upon opening a Captivate file (one that was just created yesterday) now shows every slide on the stage blank while I can clearly see the content on the filmstrip. I'm using Captivate 2019 v 11.5.1.449on a brand new laptop with a fresh install of Windows 10, 64 bit

I'm trying to save time adjusting the bottom padding for each of our custom closed captions. (It's code embedded into a Web Object.) There's no setting in my embed code for bottom padding, but when I publish the project, there's a ton of white space below the captions, and you can scroll down enough that the captions no longer show. More of an annoyance for those of us with OCD, because captions still work. You just have to scroll all the way back to the top to see them. I found I could fix the problem by going into each of the files in the "wor" folders and changing the bottom padding from 56.25% to 5%. Is there a way to change the export settings, or is the only way to edit each of the "wor" files individually?

Hello, I was wondering, is it possible to add a hover or rollover text on the Source(image) of an drag&drop interaction?I have tried it with states, but these only work "On Drop Action". Thus when de Source is dropped on the Target. But i want this before any drag-movement, when you hover or click on the source.What i want is to give the user an hint of where the source should go to, so that they partly know what this object is (this object is part of an photo) and that's why i want to give a hint.Any ideas?Thx for your time.

Hi, Guys Me and my team have just completed module on Captivate 2019 in SCORM file to upload onto LMS. One problem is that my supervisor once completed 10 questions in quiz session and he intentionally failed it, then he click on retake button to retest it again. However, the questions are all still in the same order on LMS, not the new randomized set of questions that we created in that random question in Captivate. My supervisor is very curious how to randomize the question lists after clicking the retake button?

Hello,I am trying to publish a presentation from PowerPoint using Adobe Presenter 11 in the HTML5 output, and the text is blurred. I have seen similar questions listed in other discussions, but those I have seen are for Adobe Presenter 10. I am seeing the same blurred text as described by others in the HTML5 output. Has there been an option added that fixes this issue? I have tried saving the slides manually as images before uploading (GIF, JPEG, PNG) and it has not changed the quality of the published product. A previous staff answer to a similar question stated: "Sorry. This is a known issue. FYI, the HTML5 output was primarily meant to support content viewing on tablet browsers.We do take snapshots of slides at a fixed resolution and the current implementation does not support taking images snapshots at varying (multiple) resolutions."So has this feature, to take snapshots at varying resolutions, been added? Is this still a known, but unresolved, issue? I will not purchase this soft

Good Day Not sure if anyone have come across this issue before. The Captivate 8.0 license was ordered in 2014.The user cannot proceed wih the questionnaire as it is “stuck” at the point of submitting. Not sure if this might be the reason for the issue. This happens when the back button was used to revisit a previous question.  “When the questions are done and the back button was not used, the Submit all button works fine.” Is this due to how the questionnaire was created or is the only way to fix the issue by cancelling and starting again with the questionnaire? RegardsMario

I am trying to find a solution to a problem I am seeing when my project is published in HTML5. I do not see this problem when published as a swf. In my project when the learner wishes to view a corresponding job aid step, the learner clicks the job aid button and an image of the job aid step slides in from the right side of the screen for viewing. This in done using a shared advanced action. I have slides in the project which behave as described. The problem I see and this is random in nature, is the job aid image will flash in the final resting spot then animate in from the right. Other than being annoying, this does not cause any navigation issues with the project, just an annoyance. I have tried different ways in my advanced action to enter/show the image but nothing seems to make this any better. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I would like to create a  module where the learner will need to fill out a type of registration page with information so that when they finish the training module they receive a certificate of completion.  I was told this is possible in Captivate.Is there a tutorial for how to do this in Captivate 2019?Thank you, 

Hallo zusammen,ich habe bereits mehrfach über unterschiedliche Wege versucht eine PPT in Adobe Captivate 9.0 zu importieren. Es tritt nach dem Schritt "konvertieren" ein schwerwiegender Fehler auf und AC schließt sich. Ich habe dazu keine Hinweise oder Hilfe gefunden. Fehlt eventuell eine Anwendung auf meinem PC oder woran kann das liegen?Danke.

Is it possible to completely disable the BG audio (I have music as BG) for certain slides but not others.  I know I can lower audio on slides with voiceover audio, but that's not what I want to do.  My preference is to "turn off" audio on slide 1, and then later on a slide in the middle of the project, and then back on through the end.  Second option is to start BG audio on second slide and run continuously through to the end.  The project is self-paced, so it's not an option for me to manually turn down the track for specific slides, because it will likely be at a different time for every learner.  Are either of these options possible? Hopefully this question makes sense.  The only videos I found are those that show how to import BG audio and then edit audio track, but they only showed it for all slides in project, so I fear what I want to do is not (yet) possible - if not, hopefully in future iterations (ahem.)  Thanks for any advice!

In my project there are a lot of white flashes between almost every Video Demo slide (not FMR!).These Video Demos are really short ( just scrolling up or down the screen or drag and drop).How can I solve this problem?

Hi....looking for a way to hide graphics from screen readers.  I would like to have the Alt text not read.  If you leave it blank then the screen readers says "Image". I need to completely hide graphics.   Possible???

Hi There, I have videos on every slide and they play fine on start, but on some slides I get "Loading..." at the begining even tho the video is actually playing fine. Is there a way to supress the "Loading...". 

I'm looking to create a 360 project that will be viewed on both desktop and devices. I've had a play around with the 360 template project and is seems to work how I need it to.I have a 360 image with several hotspots that show questions, with the results showing at the end. However, when viewing on a phone, the question panels are too big and require you to pan left to right to see it all. Other than changing the font type and size, are there any other options for changing panel? Ideally I'd like to be able to change the size of the panel so its easier to view on devices, and the colour scheme of it. Can anyone help me out?Thanks

Hello! I'm using a Macbook Air running Mojave and I have the Captivate 2019 release.I'm creating a project "From Powerpoint". I uploaded a PowerPoint presentation and I inserted an mp4 video into one of the slides. The video plays after some narration and graphics, however, once the video finishes the project does not advance on to the next slides. I have the project set to advance automatically. Can anyone provide some insight as to why it won't automatically advance? Thank you!Marci

Hi, all.My LMS admin sent me a report for Flash files within modules.  In every module, it flags "haloSkin1_as3_progressive.swf" as a Flash file.  I think this is my embedded video.  I published as HTML5 and it works...now.  But I need to know if this will cause issues after Flash dies at end of year.  I get my videos from the company videographer (who uses Adobe to edit and render.)  Is there something he needs to do differently to give me videos that aren't .swf?Sorry - I'm not very good with the technical lingo or the "back end" of Captivate.  Thanks for any advice you can give.

HI, Is it possible to get Captivate to force browser to opem maximised? (any browser but predominintly IE...)

Hi all, How do I get my captivate project to fit the browser window. It was working fine a few days ago, but now I have an irritating scroll bar as depicted in the attached picture.  I've tried reducing the resolution slightly but still, the scroll bar seems to be the same size. Additionally, how can I get the slides listed in the TOC to show the slide name and not just "slide1"?  Thanks

I have prepaered an elearning course using Captivate 2019. When i try to publish to computer the drop down menu "Publish" does not include the option.When I open another trainng sample file from one of my textbooks the option gives me a chanhoice of publish to computer. Can any one give me a clue how to publish to computer.Screenshot of dropdown menu attached

Hi Im using captivate for course authoring. For part of the business we want to be able to customize the feedback messages at runtime. I'm trying to look through the cp object and find where that data is stored. cp is quit large. Anyone have an idea where to find this?

Hello, I am close to publishing my first course that I have been working on for a few weeks now. I am having some difficulty understanding certain behaviour I am seeing in my course. Hopefully someone from this forum can help me make sense of what I am experiencing. 1. I have created a Knowledge Check question with a built-in submit button with 1 attempt. I added a custom next button to the slide and want this to appear after the first attempt of the question. I have changed the on success and last attempt actions to show the custom next button. However, this does not happen instantanously and weirdly after already pressing the submit button I have to press it again or click on another area of the slide to make the next button appear - is this expected behaviour? I feel I need the next button to allow time to for learners to read the feedback and progress in their own time.  2. Hello everyone!I have a little problem with displaying the content of a variable.I have a self-made survey, which ends with a slide that must show 4 results. Each of them, are stored in 4 variables. This results are numbers that are in between 0 and 1.When a number like 0.666666666667 appear, I need it to be shown as 0.66 or 0.67 (it doesn't matter if it's just cropped). When I setted the variable, I put 3 as the maximum number of characters, but when I previewed it, it shows more numbers (you can see it in the capture).Is there anyway to set it up to show just 2 decimals, and not every of them?Thank you in advance!I'm using Captivate 2019, with the last update.
