Hi, I am trying to upload 360 videos in adobe captivate while selecting 360 slides, but it is showing that the 1 item is selected but it is not showing in the slide. kindly guide me that how can I add 360 videos in the adobe captivate?

I'm in Captivate 11.5.1 and downloaded assets from both the Assets library and eLearning Bros library under the Discover tab. They show up in my downloads. When I select any one of the files (currently trying for Intro Diamond France Non-Responsive cptx) and choose to Open as New Project I get stuck in an endless look Getting Assets from Asset Store. I've let it sit overnight, too. I'm on Windows 10. Totally frustrated.Paula

HI Folks,At the end of an e-learning course that I created in captivate 2019,  I have a page for additional Resources that have URL's attached to each selection.  The links work fine.  The problem is that have clicking 3 links the page advances.  The page should not advance until the student Clicks the Next button.  The page is set to No Action on both Entrance and Exit. The page is from the alliance pack.  I've also tried creating it the page from a blank page and got the same result.  How can I prevent the page advancing until the user clicks the Next button?I've attached 3 screen shots to show the settings for the page, 1 of the links and the Next button.    Thanks,IDOLproff

Hi, FolksWe have conceived a captivate project (Captivate 2017) in which learners get the oppotunity to train their ability to figure out the excact prices of differerent packages of our product.With 8 differing package constellations given in the shopping cart the learner is asked to type in what she/he assumes as the correct price. Using an advanced action and variables after entering the learne's input will be displayed, the correct price (i.e. the right answer), and the differnce is calculated. (   1. "Your price enty: Euro xxx.xx"  / 2. "The correct price is: Euro xxx_xx" / 3. "You charged Euro xx.xx too much/too little" ) Our variable is as follows:expression    v_difference - v_correct_price - v_customer_x_input  With the learner's input of smooth amounts everything works fine. Even if the difference is 0.50 cents everything is OK. But if the learner enters a price that is by (let's say) 20 cents too much or too little the calculated and d

Hi Everyone,I've been working on a project where I am mixing a variety of objects and animations.  I am making the animations in Edge Animate.  The problem I'm having is that when the end user clicks the pause button on the Captivate playback controls, the oam file does not pause.  I've found descriptions of how I can make buttons in Edge Animate to play/pause the Captivate timeline, but I can't find anything about using the Captivate pause button to control the Edge Animate file.  The only discussions I've managed to find on that don't seem to have any answers.  Has anyone had any luck with that issue?Any advice would be appreciated.ThanksRandy

I am trying to insert audio to associate with a click box so that when the learner wants to hear the audio they click on a sound icon. I have done on other slides/images without a problem. However, with this last one the audio starts playing as soon as the learner goes to this slide/image. I do not know what am I doing wrong to link it? 

Hi All,I am currently evaluating captivate 8 as an alternative to camtasia. One effect we like to use on our demo videos is where the whole screen is darkened and there is a spotlight that follows the mouse cursor around. Does anyone know if this is possible in captivate, if so how?I am also looking for a magnifier effect, that, again follows the mouse and magnifies the surrounding area.Any help here is appreciated.

Hi all. I just found that the quiz function in Cap 2019 still has swf functionality in the use of hotspots. I thought swf wasn’t been supported anymore, nor were we allowed to use any of its functionality. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Thanks.

i've recorded a software simulation to use as a self check ssessment (my first) in a larger project. It saves as a .cptx so i can't insert it into another .cptx file. what do i need to do to insert the assessment?

Hello I am on Captivate 2019 and Windows 10. Captivate crashed on me last week and gave me a message to uninstall and re-install, which I did. It is now in a loop of sign in required. It seems like it will work then all of a sudden the sign in required prompt is displayed again. Does anyone know how to fix this? thank you!

Hi,I’m working on a mobile-only project with interactive videos which should only display portrait (not landscape) and full screen in any mobile phone device.In landscape mode it would preferably show a message saying the project is suitable for portrait mode only.I’m having a hard time figuring out whether I should use fluid boxes and how to use them for this purpose.Any ideas?

Hi There, I am still kind of new to Captivate and LMS publishing so bear with me! I have a SCORM file loaded in the Schoox LMS that ends with a smart shape button with the action set to "Exit." In the LMS, once you get to that slide and click the exit button the entire LMS closes. So, users would have to log back in after each completed project which is not going to work. I adjusted the Start/End setting in the publishing options to "Close Project" from Stop Project and that didn't help. Is this something that can be fixed in Captivate at all, or does this sound like an LMS issue? The exit button on the project playbar also closes the entire LMS.

I have simple object drag and drops that work in preview just fine, but when published online or on my PC, they don't. The cursor turns into a hand over the items, but they are only draggable one time in 25 when i try. So yes, once in a blue moon one will work. No consistency which or when. They aren't graded or put as quiz questions. The course doesn't have a quiz within it but I did notice I had the settings as SCORM publish. Would those things make a difference? I wish this program would publish the way it previews. This is a basic interaction, so I'm not sure what could possibly be wrong. I attached every screenshot I could think of. Thanks for any help! Hello all,I have been researching this topic and found a couple of responses but none that really answer my needs.First, I am using Captivate 2019, publishing as HTML5 SCORM packages and hosting the projects in Moodle (currently 3.8).Here's the project as planned. This is for an Employee Onboarding course that will be multiple small modules on the topics spread out over the course of a year. To answer the questions, the presentations given over the year come when they are eligible for the benefit, 180 days after start they get the presentation on vacation leave when they are eligible, etc.The planned project is going to be a role-playing game of sorts. During the course, they learn a bit of information, then apply the information gaining experience points. When they reach enough they level up. The learner also is able to choose thier avatar for the course. Input specific information, etc. What I would like to do is share the avatars chosen, the current exp and level, and other inf

This is a really frustrating issue. I can't figure out what triggers it yet - it has happened three times (that I know of) to different people in the last month, but that's out of hundreds of users. Most see no issue at all. I can't reproduce it at will. When there is an issue, the course itself works fine until you get to the quiz. The first question never appears - it's just a blank screen. If I look at the TOC, the duration for the quiz is listed as NaN:NaN. So it's basically acting as if it knows the quiz is there but can't find it. To add craziness to this, if I drop the registration for the course in the LMS (Saba) and re-enroll, the whole thing is fine - the quiz works perfectly - EXCEPT that it immediately communicates a "Complete" status to the LMS (even if all I do is open and close the course). Any ideas as to how to figure this out (or solutions are good!) would be most appreciated.

Any designers or developers out there using Adobe XD to design UIs for Captivate projects?  My team works remotely and we're finding it challenging to work collaboratively on single Cp projects.  I'm wondering if Adobe XD's collaboration functionality would at least allow us to work together more effectively on the initial UI designs.  Any feedback would be appreciated!

Hi GuysI'm developing a HTML5 animation (size 1960 x 966 approx. Created in Adobe Animate) and trying to import into Captivate 2019 where I'm encountering a peculiar issue.0. I create a new responsive Captivate project.1. I go to Media - Import HTML 5 - browse and select the zipped file to import.2. The HTML5 gets imported.3. Unfortunately, the HTML animation is imported as a very small box (approx 600 x 600) into Captivate slide.4. As a result, I try resizing it manually by pulling it diagonally to fit the captivate slide.5. By manually resizing the imported HTML 5 animation, all the elements of the animation gets pixelated thereby losing the crispness. I need your support in importing the HTML 5 in the full size which it was developed or atleast in the full size of the captivate responsive slide (1024 x 627 approx). Note: in the attached picture, the "Hover to preview" is the HTML 5 animation that is being imported. I need a platform that allows me to have students learn about building a business plan.  As they learn they will answer questions.  Those answers will then be compiled into a business plan at the end of all the lessons.  I just started trying Captivate.  Can this be done?  It's looking like it can't, but I wanted to make sure I'm not missing something? The only thing I can see is if I store the informaiton in variables, but it doesn't seem that it's easy to share across multiple projects.  It would be HUGE to put into one project.  Any suggestions would be very apperciated.

I have multiple Captivate projects which contains animation and audio synched. And when I publish them as HTML5 SCORM packages and view the published output in any browser and switch browser tabs/windows while a slide is playing, the animation pauses while the audio continues. When I return to the browser tab/window, the audio and animation is out of sync.   Is there a setting I need to follow or is this a Captivate bug?

The video that I imported to my slide is getting cut off at the end. When I open the Video Management window, I see the message, "This portion of the video is not allocated with any slide" when I scrub to the portion of the video that is getting cut off after publishing.
