...Hello Captivaters and Captivate's team !I want to know clearly what will happen to the hundreds of courses I've created with Captivate Classic after 2027 and the end of the support ?- Will they still be available on Internet ?- Will I be able to create new projects with Captivate Classic after 2027 ?- Will I be able to modify these old projects ?It appears that the "all new Captivate" doesn't give me all the opportunities (Drag and Drop, use of Javascritp, freedom with the design...) I have with the Classic version and I'm afraid this won't be the case in the future releases of the new version.😉... 

Hi everyone,I’m facing an issue with Adobe Captivate. When I insert a video into my project, it works perfectly when I export the project as HTML. However, when I export the same project as a video format (MP4), the embedded video doesn’t play and just shows a loading icon.For reference, I used a video in MP4 format with the H.264 codec. I’ve also tried adding different videos to check, but the issue persists when exporting as a video.Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Hello, Would appreciate your advise and help.As I build lessons on Captivate 12.4 and doing now and then 'preview' for the slide or the lesson, suddenly I find out that Chrome has logged me out from all sessions and I need to sign in again to any account I was signed in before including facebook, linkedin, even Adobe account. It happens only with Captivate and is happening randomally. I could not find a pattern besides the fact that it is related only to Captivate. Thanking you in adavnce

Julie can't say the word "go-live" to save her life. It's always go-live as in "I live here. I live in a house." I need her to say live as in "This software has a go-live date of March 1st"What would that look like in the pronunciation symbols for her dictionary?I need something to help me get her to say the go-live properly.  Right now I have a mashup that is "go alive" and she sounds stupid. Am I missing another workaround to get Julie to say go-live correctly?

I'm encountering an issue with the Captivate Video Widget that is causing crashes in Chrome and Edge but seems to work fine in Firefox. Captivate Classic 11.5.5.553 The project requestor wants a narration for the quizzes in this Classic project. Putting the audio on the timeline means that if the user jumps ahead of the narration then the audio attached to the response objects plays simultaneously with the question audio. In the past, I had the question audio attached to a "Play Question Audio" button and that allowed me to terminate the question audio when the response text was displayed. But the requestor wants the quiz audio to play automatically upon slide entry. I am looking for a way to either stop the quiz audio OR delay the Submit response until after the quiz audio has finished playing. My trials with various Advanced Action approaches are not working. An example of what doesn't work is to have an AA that plays audio, delays next action by xx seconds, then continues. The result is that when the Submit button is clicked, the AA is apparently ignored. Is what I want to do just not feasible in

Hello. We are using the new Captivate 2024 to design courses. We have noted that the courses cannot be opened within an i-frame even though we are running everything on local host. We didn't have this issue with previous Captivate versions. See the attached screenshot of the issue.

Unable to publish Mp4 with Captivate Classic. The error is below.  

Hello Fellow Captivate-onians!We need to enforce learners taking sequential modules in LMS rather than freelancing out-of-order. The "Force Module Sequencing" box within Captivate Classic's (version 11.8.3.8) Multi-SCORM Packager has been removed from this later version of Captivate 2019, and as a result from testing I've found that learners within the LMS aren't forced to take course modules in the required sequence and which the SCORM2004 standard doesn't natively appear to enforce either. The government LMS in question (MarineNet) also doesn't have a force sequencing option for multiple module SCOs all contained within just one SCO package wrap. The LMS can only sequence by submitting separate SCO packages within one course folder which could get unweildy. What can I do to resolve this? Could I modify the imsmanifest file after-the-fact? If so, what value(s) need changing and to what? Help!! Scott Driver

I am making math quizzes in Captivate and whenever I have an exponent (portions superscripted in the answers) it resets the answer back to the original "option _ shown here" and I can't figure out how to change the text when hovering. Any ideas or work arounds?

When creating a project in 12.4 and uploading to adobe lms, the module does not show a percentage of progress just says unavailable. is this a bug or am I doing something wrong 

Can someone please tell me if there is a way to set the specific timing of an object on the side in the timeline that is NOT dragging the object on timeline (which is finicky at best and super innaccurate at worst). In old captivate (classic) the process for setting a duration for an object was super straightforward by just entering the time in a field or checking a box that said "show for rest of slide" or "rest of project".  I cannot tell you how many hours I've wasted zooming into the timeline and dragging an object left, then right, to try to set it to the full length of the slide.  It has caused naviagtion elements to disappear before the learner would need to click Next because they are gone before they would be displayed because they were on the slide for .01 second less than the slide duration. If there is some other way to do this please enlighten me. Thank you in advance!Mary

I had a SME enter notes on a share for review that wasn't supposed to have access. I meant to delete that one and work off the one our main SME made comments on but I deleted the wrong one! Is there any chance that IT or help can help me recover the deleted share for review?

Because of the current health crisis, I am working from home rather than going onsite to my healthcare organization. Can you suggest an optimum process utilizing Captivate on my computer to record screens on a remote computer; specifically I would be recording an user demonstrating a workflow in our organization's electronic medical record system? In this case, the simulation recording process will automatically terminate once it exceeds 130 steps, preventing it from capturing the entire process. When the step count surpasses 130, the recording window collapses and closes, subsequently displaying the captured simulation data.

I am unable to open a recent project saved in my adobe captivate 2019 version. This project needs to be retrived asap but it is just loading when I open it and taking forever.  Need some assistance to get this fixed and open my recent project.

I plan to create a software simulation project. It is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) type of software. Example is Customer Relationship Management software.  I was wondering what is the best strategy to create this entire project because this will require hundreds to thousands of slides. As you know that each click in the software is one slide already.  My plan is to:1) create a MENU slide as the main .cptx project. I am trying to start a new project after about two years. The first thing that happens is that there is a dark void; I have to move the cursor around to find the first slide. But after about 6 seconds, it disppears. I then put an image on it, after which it disappears again. If I don't move the mouse while it is over it, it doesn't disappear. And when it does disappear, it is still visible on the filmstrip. If I add a second slide, the same thing happens. 

I am still using Captivate 2019 and the Continue button on my result slide does not work even though I set up Pass/Fail parameters to jump to different slides.  So if the user fails, they jump to one slide and if they pass, they jump to another.  When I fail, and click Continue, nothing happens.  I haven't tried to pass yet. I searched the community but did not find any other resolution.  Anyone have any other ideas?

I'm totally lost on getting rid of the background of my pyramid widget, or even setting it to transparent.  I'd like to remove the white background area as well as the drop shadow of this object.There's an option to change that color, but nothing relating to removing it, making it transparent, or getting rid of the drop shadow.I'd also like to have the first element (#1 in the pyramid) to be open by default, but that's not as important for now. I'm using Captivate 6. Any ideas?
