Bonjour,J'entre maintenant dans la phase de production de mon projet.Je me heurte à un nouveau souci.Mon rédacteur me demande d'introduire l'argumentation des bonnes réponses au sein des formes de réussite. Or cette argumentation est parfois très volumineuse.Afin de m'éviter d'utiliser une typo trop petite et risquer de rendre le texte illisible, je me demandais s'il était possible d'introduit une barre d'ascenseur au sein des formes réussite de Captivate ?Voici ce que donne à l'heure actuelle la forme de réussite qui se trouve submergée par le texte de l'argumentation de la bonne réponse :

So here's my problem:I have a variable '$$Answer1Text$$' in the text of a smart shape button, and I made some custom states for the button.At run-time The 'Normal' default state of the button shows the appropriate text assigned in my JavaScript.with an onclick event, I'm changing the state of the button, but when the the state changes, text in the button reverts back to the variable '$$Answer1Text$$'It's the same for all of the other buttons too in case anyone asks. Is this a Captivate bug, or am I just doing something wrong?

I have hyperlinked a PDF to my training course; however, it looks like it's going to open up in the same internet tab as the course. This is an issue because when employees close out of it, they will be closing the course as well. Is there a way to have it open in a separate tab so that the rest of the course will still be pulled up when they are finished reading the PDF?

I do a responsive project in which I use click box on picture to do something similar to software simulation. The same area as click box is marked with smart shape. When I change resolution these elements are moving out from orginal area in the picture. How can I lock click box and smart shape to stay on specific place on the picture when changing resolution? The picture is stretch in fluid box with maintain aspect ratio.

I have a file with audio on every slide. I've published as HTML5 and loaded to our LMS. The audio on the first slide plays when a user launches for the first time. When a person closes out and then reopens, the audio doesn't play on the first slide. This is the only slide that has this issue.Any ideas?

how can I manipulate rotate degree using variable or Advanced Action, so if I assign a variable to 90, it change the Rotation degree to 90, so the animation happen 

Hi all,I have a course with 4 chapters, and after each chapter the user will end up with a checklist with like 2 Yes or No questions.If you press No on the checklist a tasklist is generated with some additionally questions to be answered in a free text field with room for reflecting type of answer (not just a few words but a couple of sentences at least), if the answer is Yes nothing happens.Now it becomes tricky, I want the answers to stay/be saved in the tasklist and the tasklist to be updated after each chapter with new questions depending on the answers on the checklist.If all the answers on the checklist is No, there will be no tasklist.But there will for example maybe 1 question on the tasklist from the checklist in chapter one, 2 questions on the tasklist from chapter two, 1 question from chapter three, 1 question from chapter four. Or it could be only one/two questions from the last chapter on the tasklist.And the questions on the tasklist will probably not fit on one page, tha

I'd like to see a sample project that was created with Adobe Captivate 2017

I have a 1920 x 1080 project. I have Exported from Adobe Illustrator a 1920 x 1080 image and set it as the background in Captivate. Despite being the exact right size, the background has some white background of the project showing around the top, bottom and right hand side, as shown in the image below. When viewing the project in the browser, this white border is visible. I don't want this - I want the image to fit snuggly. Any ideas to fix this would be very welcome!

Dear All,We have Captivate 2017 latest (with the update) on PC (latest Windows 10 with all the updates) and on a Mac (OSX 10.11.6). When generating the audio narration using the Neo voices, Captivate Hangs on the PC, but not on the Mac (same identical project). For the moment the only solution that works is to split the narration in chunks on the PC. However this is not necessary on the Mac. We do not use copy and paste from Word, but we write the narration in an ASCII text editor and carefully avoid the use of "weird" characters. We use only standard letters and numbers and standard punctuation.Other than reinstalling Captivate or Windows (which we have already done once .. and it's a fresh installation of Windows with no other software besides Office and Captivate itself), is there anything else that can be done?As I said the same exact project file works flawless on the Mac, but not on the PC.Any suggestion for troubleshooting will be surely helpful!Thanks for your time!

Has anyone had experience with AmazonS3/Cloudberry explorer for hosting captivate files? I have been doing this for months ever since Google Drive stopped working and it has been flawless. For two days now I have not been able to host any new files. I have developed a course (I'm just using 2 slides to test) where I have Captivate reporting using Scorm 1.2...I use Slide Views and have slide views as 1 slide in order to complete.  The system works just fine and reports complete to the Saba LMS but, it shows the cmi.core.exit = suspend, thus it will not move it to the completed area of Saba.  I developed a button for the last slide with javascript to try to cover everything where I give 100 points for reporting and use the following JS listed here:  var retval = g_objAPI.LMSSetValue('cmi.core.lesson_status', 'completed');var retval = g_objAPI.LMSSetValue('cmi.core.exit', 'logout');var retval = g_objAPI.LMSCommit('');var retval = g_objAPI.LMSFinish('');The system registers the completed and logs out, but, doesn't change the cmi.core.exit to logout (keeps suspend).  I'm losing my mind trying to figure this out....HELP!One other thing, when I finish the course in Saba, it closes the Captivate project window, but Sab

Suddenly, In the last couple weeks, we are having problems with Google Chrome not playing the Background Audio in current and past HTML projects we have created but they work fine in Windows Explorer and also in the .EXE versions. It plays the narration audio fine. Has anything happened in the past couple weeks for Google updates that may cause this issue?

Is anyone else having issues playing courses on Safari? We publish our courses as SCORM - HTML5. It brings the course up but then it either won't play it or it starts to play it but only works intermittently. Thanks in advance. Arthur

Hello everyone!So I'm trying to make a small course as a part of a project for one of my classes, and I'm trying to have my navigation exist as onscreen buttons. I find that after unchecking "Show Playback Control" in the Skin Editor, my published version of the course completely breaks. So far I've worked around it by placing the playback controls on the top of the screen, disabling all buttons, and making the background the same color as the course. I don't want to have to use this workaround all the time though if there is a real fix to my problem.This is what I see when I publish without playback controls:And this is what it looks like when I preview from within Captivate:Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? I'm using Adobe Captivate 2017 10.0.0.192 and I've checked for updates from the help menu but it looks like I'm using the most up to date version.Thanks in advance!

I have 5 buttons on a slide,  the first four will allow different PDF files to open when each button is pressed.  The 5th button goes to next slide when pressed.  The 5th button is the only one that has a delay.  Currently, when the learner presses one of the buttons to open a pdf, it does what is supposed to happen.  In a new tab, the pdf opens, but when I come back to the tab with the lesson, the slide goes to the next slide.  This happens without the 5th button being pressed.  How do I prevent this from happening unless the learner presses the 5th button.Thank you.

I think I am going slightly mad. For the life of me I can not get the audio to work in either Chrome or Safari (both versions are up to date) on an ipad and android tablet.I have created a 1 slide project which just consists of a blank slide plus an audio mp3 file I have imported to the slide.  I have turned off all the button click sounds and not scaled the html.I then publish to html5, uplaod it to my LMS and try and view it.  Works fine in IE on a desktop. But when I try and view it in Chrome and Safari there's no audio. In Chrome it seems to default to mute, so I unmute it but still nothing,  In Safari the mute button is not even there, even through it is enabled in the skin.Anyone have any ideas as it's driving me mad?  Unfortunate thing is I downloaded Articulate storyline and after 10 mins I had uploaded a html 5 zip file and it working great on the ipad, with audio.

I have been trying to publish one of my lessons and every time I did, Captivate would crash during the “Generating Slides” phase of publishing.I did a lot of deleting of content and hiding slides until I came to looking at the problem slide and its Closed Caption text: Note the bullets in the CC text. Once I removed them, the lesson published successfully.  ISSUE: Captivate crashes during publish.POSSIBLE CAUSE: Bullets or other special characters in the closed caption text.FIX: Remove special characters.

Hello : ) We are bulding a Captivate template for our customer: creating styles, custom navigation, place holders for images, setting fonts, etc.  They want to be able to use the template for their software recordings as well.  My first thought was "well we could just have place holder for the screen recordings similar to a place holder for text..", but unfortunately it's not that easy because screen recordings are entire slides.Are there any ideas out there on how we can make it easy for the customer to just "imbed" a software recording into a template ? 

Dears, good morning,I'm having a problem with my licensing conflict, a professional I'm assisting has the Creative Cloud license on his behalf, and this week we've been given a license from Captivate that belongs to the company, though it's from an account other than his , when opening the Captivate the same informs that it is unlicensed or with the license invalid, however when he logs in there the Creative Cloud starts to present license errors.It is clear that this is a conflict problem since both are Adobe software, but I wonder if there is any way to leave both licenses running in parallel, since Captivate is not part of Creative.Thank you for your attention, I am waiting for help.

I tried using the following JavaScript on slide enter. The click event registers OUTSIDE the slide but not inside.
