Hello! Im new to CH and really dont know much about it. I was following some tutorials to figure it out and was creating a character. I got to eyes of the chacracter and they just dont work. The only big difference I know I did different from the tutorials is that I drew my character in Procreate. Your help is very much appreciated! (again, very very new at this...) Hi, I'm trying to make an animated series with the "sticky" character in adobe character animator, but with blue hair, I tried to edit the video in filmora but it didn't work and I did my best to make the hair blue, could you help me?
I'd appreciate any pointer to details on how how to combine figures for turning when walking. Our characters are drawn in Illustrator - in which my skills are distinctly moderate (that's probably an overstatement!). The jpg shows what comes through from our artist and you can see how they are used at www.thisispaston.co.uk/animatedpastons.html. (They're grouped together there but used separately on other parts of the site.) They're based on an actual medieval family and used for educational purposes. I think I've checked out most of the training videos videos and can see what we need from the 'Walk' video, but would like to find a better explanation of the Illustrator or Character Anim process for setting up.
Hi all! I'm on the last shot of an animated version of the Batman movie trailer and I need Batman to dance. I have not used body tracking except for trying to use it in this one shot. I have followed along with Okaysamurai's new Body Tracking video, the 44 minute one that just came out, so I'm confident that I've got everything rigged correctly, but for some reason when I hit "Calibrate", my puppet goes wonky. See these two images - how Batman looks with the camera off, and how Batman looks after I Calibrate for Body Tracking. I have no idea what's going wrong here but this one shot is why the video was late and didn't come out last week. Now I've spent the whole morning on it and I don't know what to do! I really don't want to have to try to animate this with draggers....
La pupila derecha de mi puppet solo se mueve de arriba a abajo, no en horizontal 😞 ¿Saben a qué se debe y cómo lo puedo arreglar?
I'm really excited about all the new features that have been added to CA Beta, and also the new Puppet Maker, unfortunately, when you all updated the Beta I was no longer able to use it because I have Mojave. So just wondering when all this cool stuff is going to be available on the regular CA and will I have to upgrade my OS to use it, once that happens.
I am very very new to this so please bear with me.I have just started with some tutorials and they tell me to edit the puppet. When I go through the steps, the puppet tries to open in Free File Viewer instead of Photoshop. What am I doing wrong??
I cannot seem to figure out why my scene displays like this in character animator but displays correctly in photoshop or in non-scene view.Any ideas where I can look?
I have a puppet with all 5 views. the walking is just fine. but when i add a swap set on different views(pic 1), when i try to walk it, the default frontal view sticks with the walking animation (pic2). when i remove the swap set, the problem goes away. what i want to do is to walk properly and i can keep switching views from control panel. any idea how to solve it?
Hi! I'm having a strange issue with my eyebrows not moving with my face using the webcam. Instead, they are tilting like windshield wipers as I tilt my head from side to side: I can't find anything in rig mode that stands out. I compare it to other characters I made and everything seems to match. It's an older puppet and I can redo my puppet from scratch and it works, but I would like to know how to fix an existing puppet in order not to have to do that. Any ideas, community?
The mouth won't move and the eyes don't show when I have the triggers in tacked. What am I doing wrong?
I am trying to transfer my character to premier pro but once I do my character does not have audio and its not the whole clip, who can help
I'm not sure what the problem is. It just started doing this. I included a screen of the file in Illustrator and in rig mode in Animator.
If your built-in 720p HD computer camera is "not fully supported," don't waste hours on Adobe's live chat, only to be told in the end to read the community posts, which before now do not have your answers. I have already done that for you! After 2 frustrating days trying to get my built-in camera to work with Adobe, and researching all of the recommended, and expensive, Logitech webcams, I found the Jelly Comb 1080p HD webcam with microphone on Amazon for less than $20. You can adjust the resolution and FPS. This camera works perfectly. I will only use this webcam for the Adobe products, as my built-in camera works fine with everything else.
Hi.I have two problems with walk in character animator.1. Walking deforms the neck area (head is not independent) and2. it pulls down the body a little bit. For example, in the video that I have attached, compare the height of the character when she is walking with the height when she is standing (at the end of the video).I would really appreciate any help to solve these problems. https://youtu.be/MZyMrnjyHGM
I've hit a brick wall. Everything was going fine, but when I computed lip sync with audio, it didn't do a very swell job of syncing the lip movements with the audio. Down below is a picture of the timeline of the lip movements. As you can see below, when I right click the lip movement timeline, there is no obvious option to add lip movemnts. I can only change them. If there is an option to add lip movements, can someone enlighten me on it. Sorry if I don't know all the technical terms. That's why I used images.
Does anyone know how to remove the eye at the same time with the appearance of other eye expression, such as sad eyes or contemptuous eyes? and does anyone know where we can paste various kinds of eye expressions without having to make them?
Hey is there anyway of adding a camera that follows my puppet throw out the scene inside of the camera being lock in the same spot it will really help for my school project thanks
I tried using the auto blink behavior on my puppet. But I couldn't get it to work. For my blink I am using cycle layers to make the blink more realistic. Is using a cycle layer blink the problem? I am going to play around with it and put in a regular 1 frame blink to see if that is the problem. But I would really like to keep the cycle layers as my blink because it looks better.
I have a problem with the lipsync, I have two sets of mouth, Happy and Sad ... there is only one of the two that can work at the same time, always the one who is above in the hierarchy, if I want to have the other set of mouths I must put it on top and there it works, this way I cannot go from Happy to Sad mouths by pressing a trigger. And if I want to make a lipsync compute from a sound, I have to put the mouth set that I want used in default even if it is not the main mouth set.
I'm trying to record 2-frame takes of different arm positions. I arm the puppet, Limb IK, and Triggers before dragging the arm to the desired position and pressing Ctrl+2 for recording. However, when I scrub back to review the newly created take, I find that the position has shifted significantly in the Y direction (always downwards. What am I missing?
Is there a firefighter character I can download?
I have an animation of a character with arms attached to the shoulders that plays nicely in the timeline when I hit the playback button. However, in the resulting video after I export with alpha via AME, the arms of the puppet are detached and floating above the body. What you see when you playback your animation in the timeline should be what you get after exporting. This is very weird. I'm on a tight deadline and I would appreciate any help on this. You can see a video of the issue here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xSfO5V14fUhaW4WJxRwxYoT3CY6PyWBd/view?usp=sharing
I seem to be having issues with Body Tracker - very likley something I may have done - but now when I go to calibrate Body, everything looks totally normal and the colored lines appear to link up to my limbs and body, but then once the Calibration is complete, the puppet doesn't move with my body movements. The puppet head, however, does move with my head. Any suggestions?Thank you!
With the new version of ChA (22.0), there is the new "Head and Body Turner" behavior. But I want to rig for head turns only. I can't seem to find a way to do this without the body turning as well. Any ideas?
