Character Animator

Hi, I'm almost done with a video but the picture of the web address won't show up towards the end.  if someone could please help, that would be great.  Thanks!  

So yesterday I had no problem whatsoever opening Character Animantor. Today here am I sitting here trying to open Character Animator and I get this message, "Can't write to font cache directory". I clicked OK and nothing else happens. For reference I use Windows 10 as my OS. How can I fix this?

i need to make a couple of moments of a puppet expressing a couple of things in a transparent background.This is so I can send out the video to my video editing software and I can add a couple of different things to show as background.

Hi Commmunity, I have some problems with the timeline.I am done with my project but there is a problem when exporting,it just export the first few seconds and the rest is a black-screen.I guess the problem is from adobe ch (frorm my project).I hope you help me because i need it for my school project asap.Here is a photo:

Hello! I'm pretty new at rigging for Adobe Character Animator and I got a problem with eye blinking. Here is a structure of eye:  Also I used Behavior "Cycle Layers" for eye blinking. This is how I set up it:  Everytime I try to make eye blink it looks like this:  As you can see the blink makes white part of eye and pupil disappear somewhy. I tried to search how to fix it, but didn't find anything. Is there a way to fix it?

Ok so I'm remaking a puppet in ACA. The original puppet I used had the ability to use magic. in this I took a png of a magic aura and gave it a wave warp effect. Now I cannot use this effect in character animator. Should I just use it in after effects or is there a way I can simulate it?one idea I had was to make a looping gif with a trasparent bg, import the frames in photoshop and then use a cycle layers behavior. what do you think?

Your newly created or Saved-As projects will now be saved in a faster and more compact format.   NOTE: All changes made to projects in version 4.0 are incompatible with older versions of Character Animator.   How do I update Character Animator? Open the Creative Cloud desktop application and click the Updates tab on the top-left. Find Character Animator in the list and click Update.     What should I do if I don't see

Everytime I've tried to reopen a project I get this error (4.0x45). I click ok, and it reappears again. Eventually the project will somehow show up but when I save and close the window it'll do this. I have everything backed up on Dropbox and a Lacie hard drive. Any suggestions how to fix this?

I completed all these animation successfully then when I play them in QT or FCP the sound is cut off, mis aligned or gone completely? There should be NO REASON to cut off my first words since I have learned the 3 beeps only signafy to me to count 3 more seconds longer since there is such a delay in the acutal recording. I feel sometimes this works great, and sometimes not so much. I still would like a vidoe on the interface since I have lost some of the visible editin windows on my application workspace and still can not find them. 

How do you change the size of a stage in Ch?  I don't want the videos to be so large and I can't find a tutorial for it.

Hello,when I want to save my project, I go to "File", "Save Project As" and then I create a new folder on my server. But when I click on "Save", a message comes up that I should save the file on my local machine.Why actually?

I am perplexed.  I posed my character's arms/hands in character animator and it's exactly what I want.  But when I dynamic link to AE or Premiere the hands are "tweaked" out.  Same thing if I export from ChAn to media encoder.  Everything is fine except for the hands.  They are bent in an awkward position.  Have reriggerd the arms, deleted from AE and Premiere and reimported, but the hands continue to be bent awkwardly.  

I have no idea what could be causing this, but when I use a blue screen or green screen background and my puppet blinks, the eyelids become the background color. It's unique to this puppet, but I don't see any differences between this one's eyelids and the others.Thanks for the help. 

I can't make a new project in Character Animator Version 4.0.  I get the message "Project cannot be saved inside another project." I also get this message when I try to create a new project from the home page. I contacted Adobe support and ended up with a work-around by copying a current project folder and renaming it. Problem is, I don't want to continue duplicating files that are not part of my project. Any help...or may I be so bold to ask...that a wonderful video tutorial on this would be AWESOME. Thanks in advance for whatever you decide to do. Here is a screenshot.

Howdy all, I'm really new to all of this and am still very much figuring things out. That being said, I have a lot of my first puppet rigged up, but for the life of me, I can't get the eyes to track. This could be because I have a cycle animation for the eyes? I'm really not sure. Any help would be very appreciated. 

When I start a scene the camera tracks my movements for a few seconds and then stops. The camera is still available it just won't control my puppet.

Hi..Why in Adobe the animator character does not move the hand of some characters like Eliza?

Trying to make a puppet from a base I made (Gonna resuse it a lot) However everytime I import the model into Character Animator The layer styles I made to the puppet do not show up in CHaracter animator. Is there a way to fix this or Am I just going to have to Merge Layers together? Heres a photo of the issue.

Even when clicking "File->New Project" - Naming it "Attempt3" in the case below...I get the following error.  I've read a bunch of libgit2 errors but haven't found any where you can't even create a new one...Thanks for any help

Hi there,Character Animator has been playing up a fair bit today for me.My puppet is no longer reading updates from the AI file.I'm opening the file using Ctrl-E to make sure I'm editing the right file.I've included screengrabs of the AI file and have added some random black lines at the base to double-check if CA is updating.  Have re-opened, there are more elements missing in the rigging section of CA.  It's not reading any changes to layer names or new additions to the file.  Added to this, the "angry eyebrows" are randomly now appearing off-centre from the eyes.Screengrabs are included below.  Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
