Hi,I am working on setting up a series of online webinars. I am creating a welcome/foyer layout for students to land on before the meeting starts. I would like to import some graphic design images with our institute logo and class information onto that page. It seems the only ways to do this are a.) set as background in meeting preferences (this is only desired on greeting layout) b.) add note pod or share screen pod and fill with an image (but shows the toolbar on the top). Is there anyway just to import a graphic design element onto a layout page without using these tools?Am I missing something?Thanks

Hi,Was recently working on a meeting - switched from host to presenter mode to get a feeling for what was being experienced by presenters. Switched back to host status but meeti continues to log me in and see me as a presenter? Haved tried loggin in and out - reconfguring status several times no help.Any ideas?

After last update Add-in leaks memory when switching layouts and has high CPU usage (90-100%) all the time on more than 20 computers running different browsers, OSes etc. What can we do to make our environment usable again? (we use adobe connect hosted option ver. 9.1.1, add-in version is WIN11.2.385.0)

I've been able to upload every kind of file on my computer to the File Share Pod so now I'm wondering: are there any file types you CAN'T share using the file share pod?Also, does Connect scan the uploads for viruses before they appear in the File Share Pod?Thanks!

I have a problem when trying to add groups which have lots of users in to a course. It works fine for individual users or groups containing a few hundred users but we have 2 groups containing approx 3000 and 18000 users and when you try to add them you get an error message "Operation Failed - Error Code:operation-size-error, SubCode:"Any ideas? Alternatively if anyone has the support phone number for On Prem installations could you let me know I think I have written it down wrong on a previous occasion.Thanks

After the upgrade to Connect 8 on June 10, I was able to participate with my team in Adobe Connect for a few days, but today, June 14th, I can no longer get in. I get a pop up window with "The selected resource does not exist." I do the connection test and it says that I need to install the add-in, but I am running 64 bit Ubuntu and the add-in for Ubuntu is only 32 bit. Is Adobe going to catch up to 2011 and make a 64 bit version?

Have a new MacBook Pro with Mavericks and now I keep losing connection and Mic disconnects during Meeting broadcast.  Is there a patch or something I can use to fix this?

Now that I have Mavericks loade on my Mac, Adobe Connect will freeze randomly, especially if I am using the Mic and switch or share views with another program or screen.It's very hard to carry on a discussion when the program is freezing and I have to re-boot or re-start Connect all the time.  Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Mitch Pendleton

We have a curriculum with 3 courses included. One is a pdf file that we want the trainees to open and scroll through. Something has changed as we do not get a completion status on the course when users open and scroll through. We are on an on-premise deployment. Connect version 9.1. This came from a Word 2010 document converted to pdf. The Acrobat version displaying is 11.00.06. Any suggestions on how to get around this?

In previous day my mdf file has got damage due to unknown reasons then I used dbcc chekcdb command but it failed, MDF file is important for me, I don’ know that how to get back mdf file data. Please anyone suggest me?

Can you have more than one language user interface in one Connect Deployment? For example, we would like to have English be our base UI, but for the Japanese users have Japanese be the UI. We do not want to create a separate instance for each language needed. Is this possible or has anyone found a way to do this?

A particpant received a Google Chrome error when trying to share his screen. The error said that his AdobeConnect Add In was incompatible with his version of Google Chrome. He followed the instructions that were provided, in an attempt to fix the error, but that didn't work. Has anyone experienced this and found any ways to fix it successfully?

Dear friends we need to reinstall a connect server because of hardware problems. how can we do the migration of contents and migration of on going curriculums and courses?

Each time I attempt to launch the Connect add-in, it freezes on the "Adobe Connect connecting" screen. The bar goes up until 100% and nothing happens. Occasionally (1 out of roughly every 8 times) it will reach the classroom, but clicking on button yeilds no response. Rarely (1 out of roughly every 12 attempts) I am able to get in the classroom and everything works correctly. I am using Windows 7 although I have attemped this on Windows 8 on a different computer with the same results. I have used Connect for many months now and this is the first time I have had this problem. I've cleared my cache, used multiple different browsers, and reinstalled the Connect add-in. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

We had to re-record part of our webiinar, and I'd like to splice the two recordings. Do I need to download the recordings and use a third-party program to splice them?

Hi,I'm trying without success to make the Event Manager work.I have a Windows 2008 Server VM, with 16GB memory (for the VM alone) and 500GB disk space, installed from scratch, running Adobe Connect 9.1.1. Database is MS-SQL server 2008.After installing Adobe Connect, everything seems to work, except the Event Manager. When I click on it, I get a screen with no menus, saying   ----------------Request Not Processed The system was unable to process your request.   ----------------An "OK" button at the bottom sends me back to my previous screen.I tried a few things:- running http://<server>/common/help/pt-br/support/meeting_test.htm indicated a connection error, which I fixed by correcting my server settings (was win-"some characters" instead of my full url) and enabling IPv6 in C:\Connect\9.1.1\comserv\win32\conf;- Tried the fix in http://blogs.adobe.com/connectsupport/adobe-connect-event-template-throws-an-error-no-resource-found/- Tried installing my original A

Hi all,We have a requirement for participants to use the pointer feature on a share pod (they will be pointing to their own country on a map) So far the only way to achieve this is to grant presenter rights to the participants which is not something we want to do. There could be potentially a large number of participants and we dont want to run the risk of them closing down pods/altering the meeting layout etc.Is there a way around the above?

I'm using Connect 9 to set up a course and have run into a spot of bother.When uploading content, I'm getting a message saying 'Request Not Processed - The system was unable to process your request.' This is happening with one particular Captivate quiz - but not with others, so I'm assuming there was a problem with the file I was uploading.  So I double checked the project, republished and re-uploaded only to receive an error saying "There is already another item with this name. Please try again." even though the content was not uploaded the first time!! If I try and upload that file in a different folder or with a different name it always results in one of the two errors mentioned above.I've uploaded other pieces of similar content successfully both before and after this happened.  I know the problem most likely lies with this one Captivate quiz, but I can't spot what is causing the issue.Has anyone else run into this issue? I need to create a recurring (weekly) meeting that uses the same URL for every meeting but I don't see how I can do this when creating a meeting on Connect Pro. HELP!
