We are using Adobe Connect 9.1.1. When creating seminar session using api, the documentation says to use seminar-session-sco-update api. However it requires a seminar session ID (sco-id) and there is a note that this ID needs be created using acl-create api prior to using this API.I cannot see acl-create documentation, searched the internet but couldn't found any information about the acl-create. How to use acl-create API?

When sharing the camera, the error message with connect add-in comes up and then the meeting is crashed.(used IE)I've learnt that addin is only related to the function of sharing screen ,not camera.Anyway it happened and I've tried many things like deleting and downloading the latest addin / Flash Player and using other browser as well.Redownloading was not helpful on this matter.Using Chrome seemed OK,  but after that, I knew other collegue still has the problem, who uses chrome.Apparently both are not a real solution for this situation...Those ways are unstable.Why is it happened?Actually sharing webcam worked at the first few days, but suddenly the problem is taking place.Please let me know if anybody know how I can handle this issue....Thanks in advance.

I can create and update users using the Adobe Connect API web services but how do I change the password of a user? I use the API call "principal-update" which has a password parameter but according to the documentation, it is only used for new users...not existing users.So how exactly do I change users password using the web services?

Since the roll-out of AC 9.1, when I edit the timeline of a recording I see the timeline of the position of my cursor ON TOP OF the timeline point of the cut points, therefore I can't see where I'm about to cut a recoring. How to see the cut points when editing the timeline?Thanks,--Kevin

In a recent Connect meeting there were video and audio problems. The host webcam video would freeze and the audio was cutting in and out. In the dry run the meeting worked perfiectly fine though. Here are some specifics.- Was a small meeting with less than 20 attendees did not have their video enabled.- Using Adobe Connect 9.0- Host had a USB headset with microphone and was on a hardline internet connection.What could be causing the video and audio issues?Thanks.

I know that Adobe Connect can be used as a LMS, I need to know how to track grades for each student. Also each student has to pay for the class, How can I limit or control who logs in to the class. I dont want the link to be passed around for any one  to use. I,ll take all the help I can get. Thanks for any help or advice.

Hi,we want to start promoting our seminars through AdWords, but the Adwords policy has changed and now it's not possible to display the company URL and then having a link to a different URL. So we can't display:     www.mycompany.comand then drive the users directly to the seminar registration page:     mycompany.adobeconnect.comIs there a way to solve this? I know that driving the customers to my company landing page where all the seminars could be listed, is an option.Thanks.

We use the Event Management module.  We mark events so attendees can join directly.  This option is only available after the start time.  In order to allow people to join directly in the 30 minutes prior to the event I have to set the start time 30 minutes before it really does.This means the event will be publised with the wrong start time.  Email templates can't us runtime fileds for times and I need a seperate email for every event.I was really hoping that they would change this so if the room is open or under preferences there would be an option where  I can say allow direct entry now like I can block attendees now.Any ideas?Thanks,Chuck

I have a looping lobby slide deck that I created in Adobe Presenter.  I've uploaded it to my Connect server and when I play it from there it loops perfectly.  However, when I upload it to the sharepod in my classroom, it only loops if I have the pod unsynced.  What do I need to do to make it actually loop for my participants?

On Adobe Connect Mobile on iPad, after I type the meeting url and click "next", Safari opens and loads the url, asking me to install Flash player.Why is it that I'm directed away from Connect Mobile?

I recently encountered an issue where, when I attempt to move a recording from under a meeting to a Shared Content folder, either the list of Shared Content folders does not appear or, when the move is "successful", the recording is bot listed in the new content location.  Interestingly, if I change the URL of the destination location from "content" to "meeting"  (http://server/admin/content/sco/... to http://server/admin/meeting/sco/...), the recordng will appear in the list.  Unfortunately, under this "meeting view", there is not any editing or offline functionality.  The link for the recording continues to be functional and playback works normally, but the recording is otherwise treated as a "meeting" rather than content.Using the API, I used the sco-by-url XML action to compare the values of an affected recording to an unaffected one, but could not find anything that appeared unusual.  Both recordings were identified as the "content" type.Atempting to edit

I embedded an swf file into a PPT using Presenter and published it to Adobe Connect.  However, the swf actions do not sync to the attendees, even though sync is enabled.Any suggestions?

I have a couple embedded videos in a PPT that I've published from Presenter to Adobe Connect.  When I get to the slide with the video in the Connect meeting, the section with the video is blank.  However, if I turn off the Sync, I get the play bar and can manually play it, but it does not sync to the group (obviously with sync being disabled). How can I set it up so I can manually play the video and keep the attendees synced to the video, as well?

Used Connect 9.1 for first time last night. All four hosts (at four different locations/ISPs) had connectivity issues: two were outright dumped more than once, getting connectivity error message and automatically reconnecting to the room. One had great difficulty even accessing the room--- repeated connectivity error messages. A fourth had her audio cut out every time she advanced a slide. All four were on the same connections and machines they had previously used for months successfully with Adobe Connect.  Adobe tech support this a.m. found no issues with the meeting room or its settings.Other smaller annoyance: pods that will not "hide."1, Has anyone else been experiencing issues with connectivity since the upgrade?2. Has anyone been having audio cut-out associated with advancing slides3. Does the new version use MORE bandwidth than the old (9.0)?Any comments welcome.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me with an issue I am experiencing when I edit a webinar recording...My team just hosted a webinar this morning. I started the webinar recording early (about 6 min) and have just gone in to edit the initial dead time out. However, when I cut and then resave the recording, it opens back up (as it normally would) but the recording will no longer advance. When I try to play it manually, it only allows one-two words, then stops again. This is especially odd as the recording let me edit the back end without any problems (recording opens and still advances). It just seems to be a problem when I cut the initial 6 minutes. I've tried editing the recording in both IE and Chrome... same results on both. I've also edited a few other various recordings today without a problem. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Thank you!

Is it possible in Adobe Connect to be both a host and presenter ie to host a webinar and also participate in it? Thanks

Hello All,We’re experiencing an odd issue with Adobe Connect in our environment. The add-in presents a blank white screen when attempting to load meetings for a majority of our users. After significant troubleshooting I’ve tracked down the cause to Active Directory username length, with users who have eight characters or less in their username not functioning and those with nine characters or more having no issues whatsoever. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?

Are the webinars recorded and made available after the event?If so, where are they available from?I wanted to attend one today, but the time difference between US Pacific and the UK made this not possible.

Hi,in the registration template there are always the Submit and Reset buttons.2 questions regarding the Reset button:from a usability stand point: what's the reason of putting the Reset button equally weighted (from a visual standpoint) next to Submit?wouldn't it be better to have placed on the left?(or even hide it?)Thoughts?Thanks.

Hello there, I would like to know if it's possible to hide the video pod of a meeting that was recorded with video.ormerThe case is: A former content creator asked that his image in video is not shown anymore in the recorded videos (He's ok with voice and anything else). Is there any way I can hide just the video pod from a previously recorded meeting? If so, how can I do it?Thanks in advance

I am a UNC-Chapel Hill student taking online courses.  Through their Sakai site, I can connect to Adobe Connect, but I cannot connect to the rest of my group for our projects.  I am the only member of our group who cannot connect.  The website is https://collaboration.ncgovconnect.com/breakout_02.  Why can't I connect?
