What do I put in Classroom ID?

I heard Adobe Connect is going EOL and version 9 will be the last version which Adobe is releasing. Can anyone confirm this?

I am trying to downlaod adobe connect add in, my computer will not allow it. It is saying unable to write to hard disk?Message was edited by: ashish gupta. to add a more descriptive title to the post.

I plan one project with ADOBEConnect. in this project ineed to integrate Polycom VCS with ADOBE Connect. Is it Possible in two way communication? need I something special for it?

We have usually gone about setting up our meeting as to where the Host can set the option to Auto-Promote Participants as they come in once the Meeting has been started. What we were curious of was wehter or not this setting could be set and remain so that anyone accessing the link would be Auto-Promoted without the Host being present. This way we could send the link to the requesting parties and they could send out to whoever they needed to in order for them to interact on their own free time without IT involvement. I've been trying to login to a webinar hosted by Adone India for the last 60 minutes or so on Firefox, Safari & Chrome, but same issue. I have the Connect add-on installed. First, I received an error with Flash plug-in crashing. Following reports from Mozilla, I downgraded to Flash Player 10.3. We are starting to user notification reminders but are finding issues with it not being sent more than once when we set the recurrence to "Daily". We have tried to do a daily recurrence several times and find that is it sent only once. Any ideas on what to do to resolve this?

I would like to be notified when new patches to Connect 9 are release and have easy access to the patch details on what it is meant to fix. I would prefer this to downloading a 270MB patch file and then viewing the readme file.

I've discovered that there are ways that I can host multiple meetings simultaneously from the same computer, and my questions are whether there are any issues or problems with doing so. The first method is having one meeting active in a browser window while a second meeting is active  in the add-in, and the second method is by hosting one meeting inside the Microsoft Windows virtual PC emulation on my Mac laptop while a second meeting runs in the Mac OS itself. In both cases, I can simply toggle between the meetings with relative ease, but this somehow seems like it could create technical problems. Does Adobe have an official opinion on this type of use? Are there any behind-the-scenes technical issues that could arise from doing this? Does anyone else use Connect in the manner and, if so, have you ever experienced any problems?

I tried posting this on the resurrected Connect forum, but my Adobe ID wasn't recognized there....Concerning the files that are included in the .zip file of the meeting recording that can be downloaded:1) Is there any documentation describing the files and their contents (i.e. what each file represents, what each XML element and attribute in those files represent)2) Are there any files that capture mouse movement on a shared desktop?Thank you!

We have a couple of recordings which have been moved to the content folder. Now we would like to make these  public. How do we do this as we are unable to move the recordings back to the meetings folder.

Hello,  I wanted to know if there is a way to load a Macro Enabled PowerPoint presentation into Adobe Connect. Would loading it into flash and saving it as an .swf work? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. -Matthew

We are having a hard time getting consistent, quality offline downloads.  Our experiments has revealed that the final size of the recording can vary greatly - for example, on a PC the final size was about 90 MB, while on a Mac the same meeting finished at 130 MB.  These computers are on the same network, even physically, and have comparable components (i7 Processor, equivalent RAM).  This kind of difference has been consistent and repeatable, regardless of the time of day.  The quality of the Mac download is, unsurprisingly, better.Any suggestions as to what could be causing this difference?Thank you!

My question concerns the meaning of two graphic oddities I've seen recently inside the Connect room. 1) When I click-and-hold on the check mark to admit a guest into the room, the check mark is surrounded by a blue circle. The circle vanishes when I release the click. What is that circle telling me? BTW- the guest currently is not being admitted for some reason. 2) One of my participants is using a mobile connection and beside his name in the Attendee pod is a small circle with a  red horizontal bar inside. What is that bar telling me?

We need to install Adobe Connect Pro Add-In for all users in a Citrix environment. However, when installing the add-in there is no prompt to input a location. It directly installs the add-in on a specific user profile. Is there anyway to install this for all users as normal users do not have access to install anything on our environments? Please help as I cannot find any information on this.

I have tried to install adobe connect add-in but a message states unable to connect to hard disk. what should I do in this case as I need this to work from home. 

Basically I have used Adobe Presenter to produce a presentation that periodically has quizzes inserted within. It works fine when I launch the presentation on my site and when I preview it on Presenter. But when it comes to trying it on the iPad, using the adobe app the quizzes stutter and generally dont work. fastforwarding to the end of the quiz and then not letting me continue past the quiz because I haven't answered all the questions. I've been testing it on a 3rd gen iPad but have also tried it on an iPad mini so it doesn't seem to be the iPad. Was wondering if anyone had any similar issues? Or anyone had any bright ideas as to how I might fix this,Thanks very much

I have been getting disconnected from every Adobe Connect meeting I have hosted for the past 10 days.  My clients cannot hear me for up to 30 seconds.  This has never happened before in 5 years using Adobe Connect.  Is there a known problem?  Over the past few days my Internet provider has given me a new modem and brought new wiring into the building/my office and still the same problem exists.  It makes no difference if I am plugged directly into my i-Mac or Macbook laptop, or whether I am using wireless.  Any thoughts?

Hello,We are using Adobe Connect for E-Learning. Sometimes people are not able to share their web-cam video although they are able to see it in the preview. Since this occures to differnt people at different times I have no idea what the issue actually is. Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be and how we could solve it?Thanks in advance!

I am trying to get advice from users who use Connect for webcasting in classrooms. We have three classrooms(webcasting one at a time) with a central office where video and sound from the classrooms are feeding into a host computer hosting a webcast. So our audience is live attendees and remote attendees with faculty teaching live in the classroom.We would like to bring in guest lecturers via Connect so the live class and faculty can interact as well as Connect webcast users able to see and hear them. But, need advice on how to alleviate the sound loops in the classroom.If we had the camera and microphones in the classroom connected to a classroom computer as host and projected on the classroom screen we would have no sound loops because sound from that computer, while going to the sound system, would only output the guest lecturer on the classroom speakers and not the microphone connected to it because the classroom computer would be muting the microphone sound while hearing the remote

I would like to know how many attendees, at the same time, can view a registered lesson. Is there any limit?

I am keen to see how many people are watching recorded meetings (and not just the original live meeting) on Adobe Connect - is there a way of reporting on this?
