I didn't realize that there was a version just for Connect 9. http://www.adobe.com/products/adobeconnect/feature-details/closed-captioning.html(I'm not sure what it does new or how it should work better than 2.5)

I've build a PowerPoint slideshow to auto-advance. Will this functionality remain and still work after I've uploaded the show into a Connect room?

Trying to use set up camcorder to use as webcam - Video telephony device set up is asking for SIP address.What is it?  and Where can I find it?

1) Will the contents of a pod be affected if I switch between two layouts that both contain the same pod?2) Will my screen share remain active in one layout if I briefly switch to a different layout without the share pod or will I need to re-initiate it?

Hello All,I am running ACP9...I know that in version 9 Adobe enchanced the meeting recording feature by introducing the ability to pause. Swetank (from Adobe Support) made this video: https://my.adobeconnect.com/p7g052544vl/In it he shows how the feature works...and he he says that the host could pause for 'even an hour' - which would be fantastic, this means that I could split a recording over lunch for instance, and still have one recording (and one URL).Does anyone know if the pause times out at any point?Thanks. I can't upload .zip files to the Adobe Connect content page.  I get an error.  Invalid format selected.Help?

Hello All,I would like to ask a question of the group.When I run a curriculum report to verify user completion status, I routinely end up with duplicate entries for users. The entries will omit the name, but the User ID field shows them as being a match for others.You can see here that Debra (User ID - 1149940479) is in there as complete...but the line above her seems to be a duplicate...same thing with Chris. The completion status, time stamp and User ID are identical.Any Idea what I can do (other than manually deleting and scrubbing every time) to clean up the data on this report?Thoughts??

I would like to add a group of Learners to "Users and Groups", however do not want to give this group a license - how do I do this?

Hello.  I have a series of 12-20 internal trainings that employees are required to take when they start with our company, and some of the trainings are required every year for different groups around the company.  So, I have these 20 pieces of content built, and currently had just one Training set-up for each, and would launch that same link to folks everytime I needed to.  More and more start/stop times on these are all over the place.  I may have Sally and Tom starting the trainings this week and they have 3 weeks to complete, but in a week - I could need Harry to take only 2 of the trainings, and he will have a 1 week window.  Using just that one training link negates my ability to be able to set open/close dates - set reminders within the system...So, my question is for those of you that run this type of program - do you set-up a new training each time you launch a piece of content out to folks?  I feel like this could get messy quickly, and cause the

Hi AllI am using the https://www.example.com/p10101010/output/filename.zip?download=zip method to download recordings from our Connect platform. (note: i am aware of the "make offline" option but this is not a good solution for me)so, I get a .zip file with some .flv and .xml files but there only seems to be audio content, no video. The file i'm playing is the cameraVoip_0_2.flv which gives me audio, also the recordings i'm trying to download are 1.5 to 2 hours long so i was expecting much larger files than the ones that appear from looking around the various forums it seems there should be a "screenshare.flv" file present in the downloaded zip, but its missing from my .zip... screenshot belowI have also used the Adobe Desktop client to "fetch" the files for local play back and although the quality is not great, they would be fine for my purposes.  However i can not locate the file(s) on my PC, Does any one know the path which the desktop client uses to save the files locally?I do

I just subscribed to Connect (pay per use), I want to practice and get comfortable with the meeting interface before I invite clients for the first time. How can I do this without being charged? So far I've only been able to get to the meeting interface by setting up a meeting and entering by my self alone, but I get get charged and all I want to do it explore the interface freely until I make meeting with a client.I would appreciate any suggestion. Hi, I'm using the connect API to get a list of meeting recordings.  By default these are all set to "Private".  I'd like to be able to see the status of the recording, and in some cases, make the recording public (via the API).  Is there a way to do this using the API? Also, my understanding is that recordings are not immediately available - that the audio sometimes needs to "Sync" up.  Is there a field in the API where I'd be able to tell if the recording is still not ready?  Thanks for any help. -Jim

Hi,I have been trying to find a way to make Adobe Connect send meeting invitation e-mails with login and password included in the link - unfortunately to no avail.Does anyone know, if it's at all possible to do it and if so, how it's done?I'm still on a trial version, but I've been assured, that it shoudn't be a problem.Thanks in advance for any hints!Kamil

Some of the studio pc's were pushed the Windows Updates which included IE 10 and now the add-in does not run.  Has anyone seen this before?

Music starts playing and a message was broadcast stating the host will join you shortly but the session was already running with the host.Why did this happen?

I can see that an audio token has been allocated in my Adobe Connect session but when I dial in I am not prompted to enter the audio token which results in two items being displayed for each participant(name and number). Why does this happen?I am aware that I can merge these but if you have lots of participants then it is difficult to know which audio belongs to which participant.thanks

Hello im Marc,i have a problem with my adobe connect 8, yesterday i stayed in a meeting with my workers. In one moment all users disconnect automatically the meeting and wait 5 second and connect automatically in the same meeting, but i saw every users are double, i stayed two users Marc and Marc 1 and my workers same. I'm creating a web app that connects to different sites and services and gives their status, up/down/error etc.  For sites that use IIS, I had to add in the HTTP Response Header an entry for Access-Control-Allow-Origin and the value of the origin url.  However, on our adobe connect server, I can't figure out how to allow this!  I think its using Jetty or tomcat, here is the folder on the connect server where web.xml files are located.E:\Breeze\8.2.0.1can anyone help?  thanks

My learners need access to everything shared in a share pod as well as the recordings of the meetings.  How do they do this?  Your help is much appreciated.

We are migrating to a newer server for our Connect v9 upgrade and I would like to know if I can export all the user content (e.g. meetings, files) and then import it back into the new install. Would rather not have to tell my users that they need to recreate all their meetings and reupload all their content The old v8 server is Windows 2003 and, from what I understand, it's not possible to do an in-place upgrade to Windows 2010 (not that I would want to anyway). Not to mention, the old server has only minimal resources with regard to memory and storage.

This has happened a couple of times within the past year.Upon re-entering the seminar room (the day after the event ended), the chat windows are blank and the information contained is gone. Has anyone else had this issue?We have a hosted account and the version we're on is 9.0.3.Thanks for any input!

Having issues with animations not working in a ppt.  The ppt was set up to have the animation move into the ppt - I have checked and confirmed the settings.I have tried publishing the ppt (Presenter) and zipping the file and loading through Content Library, however the animations only work on a mouse click.  Any thoughts?Many thanks ~ Lynn
