How do I invite guests to my meeting from Adobe Connect Central in an unrestricted meeting. Have Adobe Connect 9.0.  On the "Invitations" screen, Send Email  does not open my email application wherein I can enter email addresses of guest participants. The "Send Email" button simply sends email invitation to all participants added in the meeting (in Adobe Connect). The help document at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/connect/9.0/using/WS11d1def534ea1be08a52b610b38bfaa95-7f8a.html did not help. I do not have "Send E‑Mail Invitations" option on my screen. What am I missing?Anyone has answers how to do this?Thanks.

connect 9 after signing in as a guest, then share screen, desktop, all text become blurry unable to read and not able to use links in side room, I am using windows vista.

Here the issue i am having with adobe connect recorded meeting.I have those recording working prior to the 9.0 upgrade.After the 9.0 upgrade, there are the issue happen to the recorded meeting.When you forward the videos, entire recording freeze and unable to resume. After reload the recording, the issue still exist.Also, the note pod disappear from the recording middle of the videos.Spoke to adobe support (support at india), they advice me that it's bugs in this new upgrade and issue with those recording.All they said was, they are working on it and not ETA for itThis leave me pain and dry that 90% percent of the recorded videos that i have are seeing this unable to forward and freeze issue.is anyone have some other solutions for work around for this issue? or any advice.How can this be happening to Adobe? This recorded videos are the bread and butters of this ACP feature and screw this us big time.This really screw us as customer and they should have test and test to make sure these

I recently hosted and recorded a meeting with the hopes of editing it and sharing it to a larger audience.  Unfortunately, when I try and view the recording using the URL, or when I try and edit the recording using Connect's "Edit Recording" feature, all I see in the recording is a black screen.  The audio recorded, but not the actual demonstration.  However, when I use the "Make Offline" feature and download the meeting to my local machine, the .FLV file contains both the presenter's screen and the meeting audio.So the presenter's screen capture is there somehere - but I just can't see it via Connect.  Is there any way to recover the content and then edit and share the edited meeting?  If not, is there any way that I could edit/bookmark and then re-publish the meeting as Content to be viewed by others?  I have looked around and noticed that there don't seem to be too many options for editing .FLV files out there.  Normally, I would ask the presenter

I was added as a host to a meeting and can start the meeting just fine but when I enter the room Connect only gives me the presenter areas and have no access to the host options (such as Share My Screen or the side bars). Oddly, those options appear to me as soon as another  host joins the meeting. I'm using a Mac laptop with Windows running as a virtual PC. I've tried accessing the room from both my Mac and my virtual PC but they both have the same results. What am I missing?!?

Hello- 2 questions1.  Is it possible to use my Canon XF300 to stream over the adobe connect platform? 2. I'm curious if there are any options available to stream live video in Adobe connect at a multiple bit rates?  In other words, viewers with a strong internet connection would see a higher quality video stream than viewers with a weak internet connection. Additionally- any possible solutions must be viewable on an ipad.Thanks

We currently have Connect 8.5 and I have limited Administration rights.  My issue is with accessing reports once created.  I need to be able to create a usage report (weekly), then distribute in email form.  I can create the report, however I do not know how to access the report once it has been save.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Lynn

Hello, we are using Adobe Connect (9.0.2) as an LMS to host our eLearning content. Basically what I am looking to do is to define the size of the browser window that opens when someone launches the content, both initially and in review mode.Some background in case someone has another solution. Our main development tool for the content is Adobe Captivate. Although Captivate exports a swf it rasterizes all text, which is fine if I can control the size of the swf via the HTML. Unfortunantely from what I have been able to determine, Connect ignores all other content associated with a Captivate project and simply uploads the swf (which itself was a large problem because we relied on a course package with external images/xml that we could not use). So what was happening was the swf was scaling and making all the text blurry which our customers/users did not like.I then had the idea to add a swf into Captivate which was able to set the main Captivate swf to not scale via ActionScript and thou

Hi,I received a serial number for a Trial for Adobe Connect. I tried with the french version of the install but nothing was happening after I entered my serial number. We have a large number of templates (cloe to 100) and this morning I notcited that the bottom of the list of template I can use to create a meeting with was cut off.  Is there a limit on the number of templates you can actively use or is this another issue?

We want to be able to obtain additional information about our guests that are attending our webinars and need to know how we can customize the login page so that when they are entering as a guest it asks them for their name, email and contact number.  Does anyone know how to do this?  We are using Adobe Connect 8.

I prepared a layout, upload content for a meeting back on July 21st, Then, on July 29th I changed the layout and content and ran a different meeting Today, when I logged in to update my content from July 29th I found all my changes were gone and the meeting space had reverted BACK to what I had on July 21st instead of having retained my changed made on July 29th.I lost all my work - why?  When I look at "uploaded content' I can see what I uploaded is there, but for some reason the layout and use of the content did not.Please advise!

I deleted the three default templates that were listed in the drop down menu for 'Select Template' on the Enter Meeting Information page. I can still create new meetings without choosing a template; but I want to convert a meeting room to a template and need the default templates to do so.'If you are a host, you can create a new meeting room template. To add a meeting room to the Shared Template folder, you must have manager permissions for the folder.'   Is the 'manager' the same as the primary contact for the account?In my case, I no longer have a Shared Template folder. Hi Everyone -I'm working with a colleague to help her prepare a few webinars. I originally created a series of meetings for her, but she wants to use customized templates. Apparently, you cannot apply a customized template to an existing meeting; you need to select the template when you create the meeting. My colleague reports the following:I deleted the webinars you created in Adobe Connect so that I could re-create them with my new meeting template. I saved the my meeting template first in "My Templates" and tried creating the meetings, but was unsuccessful at using the template. Then I tried creating the meetings with my template in "Shared templates." Still no luck. Can you use multiple screens in adobe connect. I am teaching a class and there is anothe class out of state looking in- as in they are taking the class remotely and I can speak to them and ask them questions and they respond etc. etc.  I am using a mirosoft product to share my screen and lecture with them but it will not allow me to share the interactive whiteboard and then youtube. I need to unshare each one before I continue. Is it possible in Adobe onnect to share screens and minimise the ones you are not using.Thank you,

Howdy,     Testing for a 30 iPad deployment. Ultimate goal? display embedded videos within a PPT file. At this time, I'm testing as a presenter on a PC. I have uploaded several of the same video file in different formats (.mov, .avi, .mp4, h.264, .mp3) with 640x480 15 fr settings. When embedded in the PPT, none of these videos will play within the shared document. When I attempt to 'share' the video via the Pod, the iPads display this as "Unsupported Content." What am I missing trying to share these videos within the Pod and, further, is it possible to embed them into the PowerPoint, upload to the Content List, and display them within the Powerpoint presentation?  Thanks.Bill the Cat

One of my facilitators loaded a ppt that contained "smartArt" into her content library, however when she brought the ppt into her meeting room the SmartArt did not load...Any ideas?  Thanks!
