We are in Birmingham and have just started using Connect as an LMS for our Captivate E-learning modules. Having issues as guide not much use and training was poor. Are there any experienced users in the area who are willing to let us have a nose at their system or does anyone know of any local experts we could bring in? Thanks.

Back in July, Adobe's tech support said they would be working to fix the bug that causes meeting participants to see a substitute mouse pointer instead of the real mouse pointer that the presenter sees. Does anyone know if this fix has been done, yet? Because of this bug, I have to use WebEx, and I really don't like it.

Hi,I'm planning a webinar for teachers on Comic Generation Tools.  I want to paste five panels from a public domain comic strip onto a whiteboard and have the participants move them into the right order.I've done this before with Blackboard Elluminate but can't seem to find any way to do so with Connect.  Does anyone have an idea as to where I might start with this?Thanks!Pete

How do I remove a curriculum from an employee's list if the curriculum was automatically added when I added the employee to a group. The curriculum was not closed prior to the employee being added to the curriculum but it was closed once we realized it should not be open. The employee's report still shows enrolled but I cannot seem to "unenroll" them without unenrolling the group.

Can attendees assigned into breakout rooms utilize the video pod/webcam features?

Can I get a bit of a heads up. I'm looking at an on-premise server setup for an enterprise with multiple sites. I need to prioritise traffic for Connect to make sure we don't get any packet loss on audio/video down some tightly constrained links to branch sites. I can do that easily for client <-> server traffic just using the server IP address and the 80/443/1935 ports. I can't do that for client <-> client communications as those ports get used for a lot of other applications.Can you advise on whether there are any client <-> client direct communications with Connect, or do all communications get routed via the server?Also does Connect set the ToS / DSCP byte within the IP packet header?

How do I change the font size of email which go out for meetings.  The font is seriously size 8 or smaller and I can't find an option anywhere to make it reasonable/readable size.  Where in the options is this possible?  Thanks

Hello Adobe,Our legal department have purchased a license for Adobe Connect from yourselves via an external third party, but they can never view any of the webinars hosted externally by yourselves.I work for our Technical department and have been asked to look into this.  One of my colleagues also looked into this a few months ago, but received no word/help or advice back about this.Scenario: Our legal team need to view a webinar via Adobe Connect hosted externally from a corporate Windows 7 laptopLaptop is on a corporate network which uses a proxy server (port 8080) to connect to the internet.They cannot get through to the webinar - sometimes crashes Internet Explorer (v8 and v9 tested), may sometimes get through but it hangs for long periods of time - namely - it's totally unworkable.On speaking to a tech a few months ago they said this could only be bandwidth issues (we're on a 100MB leased line so it's definately not bandwidth).Now, what I believe we require is the full pre-re

Now that Chrome 22 is available, will this resolve the Add-In problem? It doesn't appear that any of the fixes (http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.ca/2012/09/stable-channel-update_25.html) are related to Flash Pepper or PPAPI/NPAPI, so I suspect that I'm going to be stuck using IE for the forseeable future.Incidentally, Connect doesn't even detect a difference between Chrome 21 and 22. It still displays an error message and then directs users to an articule about Chrome 21.

When creating a meeting room, I add people and set their role as presenters. When they log into the room, they are only participants. They do not enter as guests, they put in their email and password. Is there a step that I'm missing?

How do I access my test meeting which I set up on my laptop via my ipad? I downloaded the app to my ipad but when I enter the url it rejects it due to not having flash and will not support it.

Hello,We have some users that are having problems playing Adobe Presenter files that they have uploaded Connect (we run 7.5). The customers (teachers) say they use the files for online courses and get reports from students that sometimes the modules go into buffering and never get out of it. Is this a capacity issue? If yes, what are the options for how to deal with it? Thank you.

I was asked by an atendee of my roomsfor the port used by Adobe connect pro as she lives in an area that reqires her to use portforwarding to get a decent connection to the room... anyone know off had how to get the port number for this?She is trying to get rid of the current 15min delay she hears when connected. the voice is usually 15min after the charts.Thanx guys

Hello,I'm using Apple Headphones with built-in external mic, the ones that come with an iphone. The mic is working when I try recording in other applications like quicktime, so I'm 100% sure that this mic is working and has been working with adobe connect until I upgraded to Mountain Lion. In the audio setup wizard, when I reach the recording test and press record, it asks for mic permissions and I allow it, but recording does not start.If I unplug the headphones and use my macbook's internal mic, it works fine, but this usually offers low quality and loops audio from the speakers. I have been using this setup for over a year, but after I upgraded to mountain lion, it's no longer working!Correction: the internal mic is not working either!Is anyone experiencing a similar issue?Thanks

I am currently on windows 8 and unable to install the add-in (manually or through the troubleshooting link) to be able to actually share my screen using the connect web meetings. Is there a work around for this or some setting i need to do to get this to work?

Hi,Back again...I note the latest Adobe Connect patch is 8.2.2.I believe we are at 8.2.0.1 (if the Breeze folder is anything to go by).How does one check the current version/build level?Also, within the update packages there are sql packages (e.g. update-xxxxxxx.sql).How are these applied.Many thanks for any assistance.guhwuh.

I have a windows 7 laptop. My employee published a module using captivate 5.5 and i put the published files in the content room. Now in a share pod I click to open that folder and it won't open. Please help.

Hi there!I find ACP is a great product, but I'm having problems using it with Linux. I can't share my desktop or upload files, since I can't install the add-in.According to http://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/kb/install-connect-meeting-add-ubuntu.htmlonly Ubuntu Lucid is supported. Now the support term of Lucid, already in its extended phase, is soon about to end. I'm running Oneiric and will soon upgrade to Precise. I would not like to install an obsolete operating system, which is only supported for a few months more, for the only purpose of using ACP.The .deb file installs fine on my system, but ACP doesn't recognize the package as being installed. ACP gives me the option to (re)install the .deb file and the Add-In functionality is missing.So, my question: What are Adobe's plans (and time schedule) for supporting newer Ubuntu versions?Thanks for any help,Mikael
