Hi,I am looking into call control integration between public Adobe Connect servers and our audio-conferencing bridging infrastructure.I understand this is possible by the developement of a jar leveraging your TelephonyAdaptor Interface but that is if I have my own Adobe connect server.So are there public APIs I can connect to through the internet to achieve call control integration (you press "mute line" on Connect and it mutes the phone line of a participant) between your public Connect service and my bridging infrastructure?Thanks !

Hello,I have uploaded a presentation to the content area of my adobe connect account. I then created a training course in the Training area that is linked to this piece of content.  There has been several revisions to the presentation along the way that have been re-uploaded to the content area.  In the training area, I click the 'Select Content' tab and 'Update my content'.  For some reason my training will not update to show the most current content.  I have 'selected content' several times, tried it on different computers and had other people try it and it still will not work.I had this same problem a couple of months ago.  At that time, I called Adobe Tech support who tried to help me.  The problem was escalated through several layers of support, each layer not knowing what was happening or why.  Eventually the problem 'fixed itself' and the training finally updated.  The case was closed with no explanation.  I was told since there was n

Outside of Dreamweaver, I'm new to most Adobe products. I've been currenty using Fireworks for design and graphic layout. I'm using Fireworks now to composite still pictures but the workflow is a bit clunky. Can anyone suggest a program that I can use to layout different photographs on one page. For exampe, I want to create pages with two photorgrahps each but with a color background. Any suggestions for the best tool?Thanks.

I will be presenting at a hotel next week and I tried using Ovation on the hotel's brand new wireless Optoma LCD projector and brand new Hp computer that has Windows 7 installed.  I was just informed by Abode that Ovation is not compatible with Windows 7.  I also tried using Ovation on my computer using the hotel's wireless usb manager that sends the signal to their wireless projector and it still didn't work.  Ovation works fine on my older computer and projector but doesn't work on the newer technologies and software.  Is this primarily because Ovation hasn't updated their software?  If so, does anyone know if Abode plans to update their Ovation software?  Thanks.

Hi,I could not find a place to post this so I figured I would start in the general discussion.I am trying to install adobe design premium CS5 on a MAC via the enterprise deployment but confused on the cmd line.the doucment gives this example IN MAC OS: Sudo installer -pkg <install_pkg_name> -target /but I am confused on the -target part. Is there more to this? could someone provide a complete example of this? Any time I try to install it using Sudo installer -pkg "/volumes/mac drive images/adobe cs5 deployment package/installation/adobe cs5 premium/build/adobe cs5 design premium_install.pkg" -target it fails stating Installer: error -target parameter required to install. I am not sure what parameter it is looking for. thanks

Hi everyone,Anyone out there have experience using Wirecast to add graphics to video and then plugging that into CP?  I'd like to try using Wirecast for a conference and have the speakers' names overlaid. I know Wirecast will do this but I'm not sure if I can get the signal out of Wirecast and into the CP cam pod.  mb

Hello.  Has anyone else been experiencing problems with the Desktop sharing feature?  I noticed yesterday that when I click on Share desktop, I no longer get the option to share Desktop, windows, or applications.  It just goes away and my participants cannot see anything.  Uploading documents works, but it takes much longer than just sharing my desktop and presenting from my computer is faster and easier.Anyone?  Or is it just me?Edit:  I just looked at the top of the sharing window says shareundefined.  Maybe that helps.Message was edited by: TomWedell

Hi all,We have an end user who is having issues using the Sharing function within the Adobe Connect Meeting Room. No matter what option he tries he always receives the below error message.He has already re-installed the connect add-in as well as the flash version he is running. Hi. We're interested in implementing a solution for webinars where we do web instructional sessions (continuing education for adults). We have an instructor who wants to do a webinar with the following requirements:She wants to have a classroom of on-site participants but also be able to broadcast it for users across the web. How can this be done with Connect Pro? A webcam is stationary, so we'll need to have a camera that follows her around while she talks and stream that via Connect Pro somehow.She needs to share videos with the students. How good is the quality of video shared via Connect Pro?Do all participants need to have computer headsets to be able to talk to her? Or does the built-in microphones/speakers in computers create an echo problem?If she has two other people who will talk during the presentation, do each of them need to have a named license?Thank you for your help.

In the toolbar, i not longer appears Pods tab (next to help) How i can receive?

I have one particular user that cannot get into the web meetings using Acrobat Connect Add-in. We can log her on with any other PC with no problems. Something on this PC is hanging up.She gets to the login screen and can log in and accept the agreement...then in IE, nothing happens. If I try to use Firefox, we get the following error:"Adobe Acrobat Connect Add-in 9.3 r139 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."I have tried the following solutions:- Uninstalled/re-installed Flash- Uninstalled/re-installed Adobe Connect Add-in- Made sure Windows updates were current- Deleted all temp files and cache- Re-installed IE 8.The problem is obviously not browser specific and appears to be with the actual Connect Add-in. Does anybody have any ideas or solutions?

Hi, I have got a Connect Enterprise Server up and running. Now I configured the LDAP Connection to import the User and Groups from our Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Services. Now after this import the imported useraccounts don't have an initial password. It looks like there are three ways to go on with the password authentification which is explained in the install guide. 1. Do nothing, means I set up a Authentification Proxy to do the user/password check for a Single-Sign-On 2. send an email to all users to change/set their password 3. set the password to an existing LDAP field value It seems to me that it is not possible to check the password "realtime" (live at the login) against the real LDAP password without setting up a proxy or any other authentification instance. Or is this wrong? I don't need a Single-Sign-On, I just wan't the Users Windows Password to be also their Adobe Connect Password. We are using another software in our company which exactly do this. When I try to upload a PowerPoint file of any type to Adobe Connect Pro, the coversion fails and I get an "error converting your file message."  I uninstalled Adobe Connect Pro Add-in and allowed ACP to reinstall it but that didn't help either.Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?Thanks!

We love ACP but we absolutely hate the ACP add-in in terms of security. Aside from it not installing correctly on Terminal Server/XenApp (rather a show stopper for us), it now appears to have trouble on Windows 7 for similar reasons.Running ACP on a brand new Windows 7 PC with full-administrator rights produces this error when you try and install the add-in from within a meeting:http://www.picpaste.com/acp1-GRRRvikJ.PNGOkay I thought, I'll simply install the add-in directly by downloading from this website:http://www.adobe.com/support/connect/updaters.htmlOn running setup.exe, it gives you a false sense of security in that the UAC pops up asking if you'd like to allow the program to make changes. It installs without an error and shows up in control panel.But - when you launch a meeting, it says "add-in not installed" and asks if you want to re-install. If you do, same disk write error as first time.As a quick workaround, I ran-up IE as administrator and started a meeting and it install
