All of the following questions are from the view point of an instructor using the Android Connect app v2.4.10 (latest version, today is Oct 05 2015)How can I login as an instructor, e.g. the host using the Android app? Currently I must login on my PC, accept the request from my Android table, then elevate my Android signin to host. When I signin on my windows PC I click on my saved bookmark, enter my userid and PW (actually this is automatically entered for me by the browser), I'm now on the logged in screen, I then click on my name in the upper right corner of the screen, I see my profile where I click on the "Instructor Calendar" link, I then see a calendar in the month view, I click on the class I will be teaching, I then see the info page for the class where I  click on the "Launch Class" button and this opens the class. What should I be using for the URL in the Android app? Currently I have to use the actual meeting URL such as https://xyxyxyxyxyxyxyx.learnondemand.net/User/L

I created a custom DNS like connect.mycompany.com to add a CNAME record that points it to the DNS given by the hosted Adobe Connect like mycompany.adobeconnect.com. But it doesn't work. Is there anyway to use the custom DNS in the hosted?

I was wondering if there is any way to specify/include/install the Opus Codec instead of Speex? The Speex website indicates the following: "The Speex codec has been obsoleted by Opus. It will continue to be available, but since Opus is better than Speex in all aspects, users are encouraged to switch".More information is available at Opus CodecThanks!

Can through Adobe Connect record an event to promote it as a webinar later.Either with or without webcame.Audio only?

Will Adobe Connect accept inbound video/audio from 1) uStream, Livestream or YouTube Live? Or from a Mac/PC-based production software like Wirecast or Boinxtv?I am trying to set up a multi-camera webcast that can be watched by students in Adobe Connect. Currently, I have multiple ways to the get the camera feeds into the computer (Mac preferred), but seem to hit a roadblock getting the final feed into Adobe Connect. The JVC GV-LS2 cameras, although discontinued, seem to be the easiest solution, but they only connect to uStream...hence my original question. Other cameras are able to feed into Wirecast or BoinxTv (which allow switching between cameras and overlaying graphics, etc.). Wirecast will stream to YouTube Live and BoinxTV will stream to Livestream, You Tube Live and Boxcast.

I am looking for a program that will allow me to do the following1) have a three way video conference.2) the participants cannot know each others names3) I can be on a computer but the participants will be on cell phones4) after the conference the participants cannot connect with each otherI am hoping that adobe conferencing will be the  platform for my needs

Meeting created with people as Host and Preesenters.  When they log in to meeting, they only show as Participants.  Still, where it was created they show as created- host and presenters.  Anyone know how to prevent that?

The widget tool at  Adobe Connect Downloads and Updates indicates "Congratulations!  October 18, 2015 is when your account is currently scheduled!:" It is Oct 19 and the upgrade did not occur. I am not able to reach anyone through Support on this matter. I need to connect a video camera through a Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder into Connect in a Mac. When connected, the camera is visible in a variety of other softwares. In Connect, the Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorders available in the Webcam list, but only the audio comes through. The video is black. What is needed from Connect to see the video coming from the external camera thorough thins box? Does it require an intermediary software? A certain resolution/frame rate combination?Thanks!

I created a recording and I have a URL that I posted for others to use to see my recording. However, when they click on it, it doesn't open the video for them at all. When I click on it, it brings me to the log in page only. How can I correct this so others can see my video??

A Member of our Company needs to install the Adobe Connect Add.In.A Testinstallation with the Latest Download of Connect Add-In 9 (version 11.9.974.231, ZIP format, posted on Sept. 23rd, 2015) was not successful. We´re running Win7 64bit. And the Adobe Diagnostic Test says "Add-in not installed". I´ve tryed different way´s and Users, administrative and nonadministrative all with the same result. In TechCenter there is the Info:The Connect 8 Add-in is based on Flash Player 9, while the Connect 9 Add-in is based on Flash Player 11.On our Systems we´re running Flash Player 19...A solution would be nice.

When hosting a meeting for which both I and my attendees have live microphones, does Connect perform any echo cancellation to avoid feedback loops?

Can anyone recommend a mixer to which I can connect my professional Shure microphones and that has a USB output that can be seen by Connect as a live microphone? Someone recommended a mixer by a company called Presonus but it doesn't work as advertised. For some bizarre reason, only one of its four microphone outputs are seen by Connect. Very odd, and the manufacturer has not been very helpful with support. Can anyone recommend another from a different brand?

Am using a USB headset on my Macbook Pro.   My Adobe Connect environment is suddenly 'splitting' the audio, where the student voices come through my laptop speakers, but the audio from the music pod is coming through my headset.   This behavior comes and goes, though my 'sound' definitions in Mac OS X explicitly choose the Plantronics headset.   How do I debug this?  Thanks in advance.

Hello!I've run into a strange issue. Until today, everything was fine with Adobe Connect, however, now when I try to open the log in form so I can log in, I get this error.Request Not Processed (<--- Link)Do you have any idea why this could be happening? Recently I've been changing who can access the network drive where Adobe Connect stores it's data, could this be the reason? However, it would seem that Adobe Connect has full access to that network drive and the folder where it's shared data is stored. A few months ago my collegue renamed the domain name of our network, but that was a while ago, not sure if that has anything to do with this.

The discontinuation of support for 32-bit operating system software would beg the question of whether this will be identified through a step in the Connect computer compatibility test.  Right now there is a test for the Flash version, the link with the server, the speed of the connection, and whether the Add-in is available.  With the requirement for a 64-bit OS it would be good to have that checked.  It would also be nice to have the Add-in version checked and an upgrade option, not just whether a version is already installed, especially if that installed version will not be supported by Connect 9.5.

I need an official invoice from Adobe Connect.In technical support there is no way to get it.

Hi,I am having issues with my screen share on adobe connect as a participant. I have just upgraded to windows 10.When i click share, others are only getting a black screen. They can see my mouse cursor moving but nothing else. When i pause and annotate, they can see my annotations.When i change to application share they see a black box with a line around it.I have just changed my gpu, and all the drivers are up to date, so I'm not sure whats going on.
