I am a long term user of Portfolio, in fact all my 5 sites are using it.I find it a great non nosense solution, especially since it ships included. But ... we are in 2023, and I am beginning to feel a tiny bit frustrated by the lack of new, almost essential features found with other providers. For example a very simple one which has been on the forever want list of many many many many users for ages: an horizontal scroll (hey Adobe, that one has to be easy)And pushing a little bit, we could maybe have some sort of carousel "a la Squarespace (and everybody else)" with prev/next and thumbnails ? (bit harder but hey, one can try)Anyway, here is to a great solution, almost cool, so close.I know I said I would only be love in 23 but today was the day 😉Thanks for reading, commenting, supporting, hating.
Microsoft 365 has a way to allow admins to view what a user has in their OneDrive. There needs to be a way to view a users Creative Cloud contents as an Admin
LET ME UNINSTALL YOUR AWFUL APPS WITHOUT SIGNING IN
Dear Adobe,Since we now have no choice but to use the creative cloud application, please stop putting an icon on my desktop without asking every time you update something. That is so Windows XP. Mac users may like it, buy I run a clean Windows ship and would appreciate having some choice in the matter. Anything else is just rude. Thank you.Sincerely,Icon Free and Loving It
Currently there is no way to package Creative Cloud with another adobe app and deploy it with Intune
I'm just finding the thread below after facing similar issues to other users where I have a main desktop Video editing PC with Terabytes of storage and a simple travel Laptop with limited 256GB of SSD storage.https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services-discussions/delete-creative-clouds-files-locally-while-still-keeping-them-in-the-cloud/m-p/9924530What you have described in this thread highlights that Adobe have not thought through the practicalities of how Creative Cloud needs to work in the real world. You have created a quasi-Cloud computing solution that also potentially stuffs your lightweight mobile Laptop device with loads of local files which is not designed to support mass storage.Rather than have the what appears to be a slightly flakey 'Pause Sync' option - on your mobile Laptop device where you might have say Lightroom installed with one other App - this still depends on having the full Creative Cloud App on your Laptop.By default, if you have say 64GB of C
Hello all!I get surprised by the new CC Desktop!I have time today, so I follow the visit guidance, and it appears to be more friendly and fresh and respecting the state of my account, which by now is limited to the free plan, after deactivating the Photoshop monthly plan (because no more use now). After some exploration, I found the font icon which shows me the fonts I've activated and that I use.I appreciate the steps of the guidance visit which I found sober and made me enjoy the new layout. Because it's only a new look and I found it closer to the state of my account.I also appreciate the suggestions that invite me to restart my Photoshop plan, so when I need this, I surely go directly to the right screen of the site in one click.I also appreciate the 'start a project in Adobe Express" which shows me apparently only projects related to my free plan, and some I even had no idea that I could do, like a flyer or a poster ('affiche' in French). After that, on the hamburger menu, I saw Hel
Floating license is a very common subscription now, I don't know why Adobe is not adopting it. Does Adobe have plans in the future to have a floating license subscription? The problem we are having right now is we have a lot of licenses assigned to staffs but most of them are not using it everyday and there's no way to track usage and it costs the company a lot of money for monthly subscriptions. The auto assigment works partially, people can request access and get it immediately if a license is available but the problem is we have to unassign manually the license after they use it. We are a medium-sized company (about 40 staff), how do other companies manage their licenses cost-efficiently?
Why is it so hard to provide a little consistency across all Adobe Applications. Example, Clearing Recent File lists, why does finding this comand have to turn into an Easter Egg Hunt across every application or not even an option in others. Everyones definition of "recent" differs. If your not going to allow a conistant way of clearing these lists, how about making a setting, clear recents after a user defined amount of time, and [removed] have it located in the preferences of every single Adobe Application, Desktop, Mobile and Web based.
Hey Adobe! Recently, I had the pleasure of talking to your support team regarding Adobe XD software where you solved the issue of the missing installer with the message... "From April 1, 2023, Adobe XD will no longer be available to new customers for sale as a single application. Adobe XD will continue to be available for add-ons and renewals for customers who had already purchased XD Single App on or before March 31, 2023, and to any customer (new or existing) as part of Creative Cloud All Apps plans. We will continue to provide technical support for al... Why did Adobe withdraw Adobe XD software without informing customers? Why wasn't the Adobe XD subscriber list ready on the day of the withdrawal? This caused an error of Adobe XD software missing in CC. I have the impression that Adobe or the department responsible for distributing new and updated software is not testing it before deployment, but is waiting for irritated customers to report problems. Even the latest versio
I've recently gone through a problem with all my active fonts uninstalling,After gaining help from Adobe customer service, they suggested I come here to give the higher ups of Adobe the idea of mass installing all uninstalled fonts. The problem is, Adobe sees active typefaces as active but does not install the actual fonts within that typeface leaving me to install each font within the typeface. And a simple button that says Install all active fonts or simply install all fonts would be most helpful as right now, I have been here for an hour or so reinstalling all of my active fonts one by one by un-activating then re-activating each typeface.Such a time waster! As graphic designers, we use a lot of fonts especially a lot of Adobe fonts if you're a student like me, spending over an hour reinstalling all my fonts is not a great way to spend my valuable time.
A viable solution to support seniors and promote knowledge transfer would be to extend the student pricing to them, making Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) more accessible on a fixed income. By doing so, Adobe can empower seniors to continue utilizing their skills, share their expertise with their grandchildren and others, and promote the use of CC's diverse features within a broader community. To ensure fair usage, label these subscriptions as "For non-commercial use only." This approach enables Adobe to support the continuity of skill development and encourage the passing down of valuable knowledge to future generations, all while making their exceptional products more financially attainable for seniors.
I need to update Adobe photoshop 2021 to Adobe photoshop 2023 but the software was pre activated and downloaded online. I want to update and manage software not installed from Adobe creative cloud including the apps that have their free trial expired.
I would suggest adding a Download All button to the cloud, that would be easier if someone is switching accounts and he's trying to move files between the two. What do you think?
It would be so very helpful to have a progress bar on uploads. My MacBook is "syncing" a 13GB file and I am on a time crunch. And I have no idea if the file will upload in time because I cannot see how much progress has been made in the 20 minutes since it started.
would be helpful to be able to deactivate devices for users from adminconsole.adobe.com
There is no way to get license info, including expiry date, from the admin console. Not cool. I had to engage support. Why is this necessary?
Please have Content Analysis disabled by default, or ask people if they want to enable it from the start.I just found out about the existence of Content Analysis via social media. While I don't have a problem with the existence of the feature (with proper care, AI might become a powerful tool for artists), I do have a problem with how I found out about it and the fact that it is currently an opt-out feature. Regardless of the intentions, not asking for permission to use our stuff is disrespectful.
Hey Adobe have you ever considered adding "switch account" feature to your creative cloud (desktop)? For those who work from home with a computer used for both personal and professional? I might (actually) use separate adobe products for different aspects of life.
AE Dashboard for Education (Shared Storage function request) - Please create a search, sort, or filter option for the Shared Storage, Inactive Users list as you have for the Active Users list. Searching the list, page by page, for one specific user is daunting when you have thousands of inactive users.
Ao abrir a timeline para fazer a edição de vídeo no Photoshop temos que estender cada camada de forma individual, o que complica bastante no tempo de produção, não sendo nada prático. Poderia ter algum modo de estender o tempo desses objetos de forma agrupada.
Please make Adobe Stock subscriptions for Teams accounts only accessible to the customer they are assigned to instead of the entire team. For larger corporations that have thousands of users all in different departments shared stock assets are not ideal. It runs the risk of the assets being used up by those who have not paid for stock access and the actual persons who paid with no assets left. Credits should only be accessible to the customer who purchased and they should have the option to add users to their subscriptions.
Have the ability to sign out users from the Creative Cloud Admin console, as mentioned in this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/enterprise-teams-discussions/how-to-view-user-activations/td-p/12163362
Hi at all. After we got the update from USM to ESM, our end users aren't able to work with custom fonts on their own anymore. Adobe still confirmed that a user noe needs specific admin rights to add his/her custom fonts in CC Client. Otherwise only the company/adobe admin is able to provide custom fonts. No no no! I'd like to have the option, as company/adobe/global admin, to allow custom fonts to all of my colleagues, without giving admin rights to them. I'm able to enable and allow e.g. overusage per admin console by just using a slide controller. Please provide another slide controller to allow custom fonts as e.g. self service option to all of my users. Would be great!
In the business environment, it does not make sense in every case that Cinema4D can be installed with After Effects by the user. Maybe the version of Cinema4D has to be managed by administrators. So it should be possible to block this completely and not leave it to the user to choose. For this it needs an additional parameter for the ServiceConfig.xml of the Adobe CC desktop application: e.g. BlockMaxonInstallation
