Digital Editions

So i downloaded Adobe Digital Editions and applied my ebooks to my imac, iphone and pc laptop no problem. However i have a Samsung tablet that does not show my ebooks. 

I have migrated my C: drive content to my new SSD.  Adobe Digital Edition does not allow me to download books from my public library; it complains about the registration.Can't delete the registration from the application nor from my Adobe account.Did remove and re-install the app, without success:  same behavior. Don't want to do surgery on my register but it seems the next step. Anybody having a suggestion on how to repair this situation?

I successfully purchased and downloaded two eBooks as acsm. files, and dragged them into Adobe Digital Editions (V4.5), and was able to read them. When I purchased a third book from the same vendor, I was able to download it, but could not drag it into Adobe Digital Editions. I get the following error message:""Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN"The vendor tells me I have no tokens left and must contact Adobe.Please can you explain what exactly the problem is, and how it can be resolved?

I have an ID with an email address that I don't use anymore - and for which I don't have the passwork. It is a company email address.My device (MacBookPro) is associated with that address. As ADE requires the password to erase the autorization, I'm stucked. I cannot ask for a password change neither.... Help?  

As I wrote in the subject, I changed my email in my adobe account deleting the old address and it is all ok but in Digital Edition there's still the old ID and I would change it so I can activate my kobo, etc, but seems it is impossible to log out from wrong ID and enter the new ID or, anyway, the ID in ADE is still the old one... Please someone could help me?

I have a Yoga 2 that works GREAT with Adobe Acrobat Pro X as a touch screen reader. I was FORCED to download Digital Editions for an e-book I needed, because there were no security plug-ins for Pro X. Now I'm stuck with ADE... it pages slowly... I have to use a Mouse to scroll if I rotate the Yoga into a reading orientation... can't see the entire page in laptop mode, and PgDn/ PgUp don't work well...Can anyone PLEASE provide any guidance on either a) a security plug-in for Acrobat Pro that will allow me to use it, or b) "fix" ADE so it's even marginally functional?And Adobe please take note.  IMHO, ADE is - at best - WAY BELOW standard for an e-book reader. Shame for inflicting this on the market.

J'ai effacé toutes mes autorisations sur mes autres appreils (cellulaire, Ipad et vieille ordi)., sans succès Avant, d'avoir ce message, j'avais sur ma liseuse n'était pas autorisé à ouvrir mon livre et qu'il était proté par Adobe. Bref, comment réinitialiser mon compte et mes appareils, car j'ai tout tenté. 

Hi All,I am looking for some documentation on Digital Editions use terms. On the FAQ site it is mentioned that this is free product, but usually free products have limitations for commercial users and the only limitation on FAQ site is distribution to customers. Can you help me uderstand if there are more documents which describe Digital Editions accessibility to commercial users (company employees)?Thanks!

I downloaded library book yesterday, no problem.Today. I tried to download and I got the followingLoading Library...    just keeps loading... Tried: ADE 4.5 and 3.0 tried new install and uninstall(s).           Tried Folder Rename &           Delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\AdeptNothing works.Any help would be appreciated..Thanks

Has anyone else had issues with Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 in regard to the textbook saving any of your progress such as notes, highlights, and bookmarks? Mine also suddenly freezes then I have to force quit. I'm on a Macbook Air 2020 version 11.2.3.

Hi,I recently was forced to download Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 by my university so I could access the course material. In using the product, and in looking on message boards, it appears as though there is no read aloud function. This is so disappointing and maddening. I am taking school part-time, work full-time and have a young family. I used the read aloud function offered by another product so I could get some exercise in while also staying on top of my reading. My iphone will not read the book either - it just reads the page number.  If anybody has any suggestions on what to do, I would greatly appreciate it. 

When I want to authorize my computer for ADE I get the following message."Wrong ID/password for this E-book suppleyer. Pleas try again".Is there some one who can help me.Thanks

Hi, I have bought an ebook from the campus eBookstore. When I try to authorize my computer with id and password that I used to buy the book, Adobe is not accepting. The error shows ID or password is wrong. It'sa password without special characters. I tried to type and paste the password. No success. 

Bought an ebook, downloaded the ADE app for my iPhone. Downloaded the URLLink.acsm onto my phone. When I tried to open it in the ADE app I get this error message. Unable to Download. Error getting Licence. Licence Server Communication Problem. E_ADEPT_NO_TOMENIs there a solution to this problem? I would like to use the ebook I purchased.

I have downloades Digital Editions on my Laptop and Tablet but there is no option to sincronize my e-books. It is useless if I have to download on both devices instead of keep one library. There is no option to add device at Desktop version, and both devices are already authorized. Someone have any clue how to fix his bug?

I purchased a university textbook that forces me to use authorised Adobe Digital Editions to view it, however, the images (diagrams) in this textbook are immutable in size, and some of them are too long to display on one page, and because of the way ADE works it just cuts off the diagram and I cannot view the bottom part of it. Anyone got tips on what do I do about an improperly formatted textbook? Ways to resize images?

Hi, I have Adobe Digital Editions donwloaded on three of my devices. 1. MACBOOK PRO2. IPAD3. IMAC On my MACBOOK PRO, the files are titles "Missing" that I have downloaded and are typing to open and I get message that reads " Unable to open File". In order for me to open books, I need to keep redownloading the same file. On my IPAD, I can open the book downloaded, but cannot figure out how to dowload the second book, as there are two of them. On the IMAC, the two books appear to be downloaded but when I click on them, I get a popup that reads "Computer Authorization Needed"It asks me to start authorization process by entering Adobe ID and password.I have no idea what is is. Can you please help me understand what to do to resolve these issues?Thank you.

Hello, when I try to download a book I get the error message- unable to download error getting license communication problem: E_Adept_Request expired

I’m having a problem downloading a book I ordered from a bookshop. During the process of downloading the book via ADE I must have authorized my new computer without my ADE-id but I don’t want to read the book on the computer but on my Kobo e-reader. So I removed everything from my computer and downloaded again the file from the bookshop. This time I correctly authorized my new computer with my ADE-id but when I want to download the book I get the message hereabove.

I use ADE to download books from my local library and the transfer them to my Kobo Glo to read them. Recently the Kobo says I am not authorised  to read them.although I can still read them in ADE. I used AdE to de-authorise the Kobo and then re- authorise it but it still doesn't work. I have tried deleting the books from both devices and reloading them but to no avail. I see someone had a similar problem last year but there was no solution recorded. Does anyone have an answer?

I understand most people reading this forum may not be familiar with writing music scores, but could someone still offer an explanation why most numbers at the bottom of the pages are missing in my epub file? I tried opening the file with a different epub reader, in which it was displayed correctly, so it's clearly an ADE problem. At first, I thought maybe it was a font issue, since the document is using a special music font. But if that were the case, shouldn't ALL numbers be omitted? The attached pdf shows exactly what the epub file should look like. I'm using Windows 10 and ADE 4.5.2.Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I have a book within Adobe Digital Editions. However, I need 60+ people to be able to access. How do I convert this to a standard PDF document in order for me to upload to SharePoint so my team can view it?
