Dear Developers,Please find my review of the app: "adobe digital editions 4.5.11" is the most inconvenient epub ready I have ever come across!- when mouse pointed on text the scroll wheel doesn’t change page- left/right cursor don’t change pages (they were invented 30years ago to do this), no one uses page up/down buttons- there is no night-mode/inverted colours, this is a must for books, even PDF readers support this- the selectable font size a fixed!- there is a huge ~100ms lag between changing pages on my 8core i7 SSD PC, seriously??- there is no settings/customization possibility in the application- it doesn’t support other common ebook extensions, like .mobi .azw .djvu, why do I have to install separate app for each type in 2020?- you could easily dominate the ebook market like you do it with pdf-s Please fix these!

Hi there, I'm creating Epubs for the first time and I'm having a bit of an issue with the zoom. When opening up the Epub which I designed, everything looks fine and fits to the screen I'm viewing on. However, when I click on any of the page navigation buttons that I created, the display zooms in 4x. It appears fine when using the app's own page buttons, so it only seems to acts weird with the buttons I created. Basic info:• I created the Epub on InDesign• Using Adobe Digital Editions on a mac to view it. The Epub appears fine on iBooks, but I want to be able to recommend Adobe Editions for our PC users.• Fixed-layout Epub set at 1920x1080. The document I'm working with used to live as an interactive PDF so I'm hoping that Epub will allow me to add-in some more exciting interactivity. (So long as I get it all to work) Any advice would be much welcome! Thanks,J 

Any trouble-shooting advice? I'm very frustrated with the removal of flash from media controls in Adobe Acrobat and Reader. We have a very long book laid out in InDesign that has been shared as an interactive PDF for 7+ years. As the media controls (play, pause, stop etc) are flash components, the functionality is being removed as a PDF in Dec 2020, and much of the controls have already been stripped. From Adobe reps, I've been told to export our large book from InDesign as an epub file. I've done this. From the InDesign preview panel, all the media functions are shown as expected. On my mac, within Digital Editions, the exported epub file's media also functions as expected. However, on PCs the Digital Editions program refuses to even open the file. The error provided by Digital Editions is also not helpful. It simply reads:Unable to open "file name".epubErrors were encountered in this item. The Digital Editions Version on the PC is Version 4.5.11.187303&n

Hello,Just curious if anyone has any input on this. With the latest version of Digital Editions (4.5.5) released on June 13th, 2017, the installer does not return a '0' error code after installation. Instead of '0', each time we install the product the error code returned is '1223'. Is this a successful installation or is something failing in the background? The product seems to be installed and functional, but I would like to know (hopefully from Adobe) whether or not a 1223 signals success.Thanks!

Trying to install ADE on a Windows laptop using McAfee software.  Installer poses the question "Agree to use Norton scanner?" and gives no option.  I expect Norton might interfere with my McAfee.  What option do I have?

 Good morning to you. I am unable to open Adobe Digital Editions. No access to my eBook tried to de-authorize the ADE and re-authorize without any success. Message received is, try it again later, it has been many days still the same message. By the way, I am using windows 10. Thank you so much.

j’ai telechargé un livre sur adobe digital edition sur mon mobile, mais il n’affararait pas sur mon ordinateur

Is anyone else experiencing lag/freezing issues when using adobe digital editions....I have bought some very expensive e-books thinking they would be much more convenient and easier than carrying the gigantic hardcover books, not to mention a bit cheaper,  which only seems to work through Adobe Digital editions, and after about 10 min of using adobe digital editions i have to either shut down adobe digital editions because it freezes or takes forever to scroll through the pages. This is ridiculous, the UI is absolutely terrible and is extremely limited compared to other e-books software available. I would like to move completely away from using adobe digital editions but unfortunately the ebook files won't allow me to open the books through google play books or ibooks.....come on Adobe.

Sorry to start this.  I did find the answer to why I cannot unauthorize my Adobe Digital Edition.  I needed to get rid of some registry entries so I could start fresh and authorize it again.  Should you need more details let me know..  I appreciate your response, but I am o now.

Did a factory reset on my KOBO this evening and went back to authorize my reader, and received this error message.I only have a PC and one E-Reader, so not sure about this limit. Please help.  Thanks.

I am trying to transfer ebooks from ADE in my pc, to my reader.  In order to authorize so that I can use another device, I need to get N id.  However, the drop down list to select a vendor does not work.  the only cnoice is Adobe ID, which is reject as it is not the vendor.  HELP 

Message from Adobe says 'Error getting license'.I have been downloading files to Adobe Digital for some years  - all of a sudden it won't work and I get this message?

Hi all, This is the first time I'm using ADE and man, was I in for a surprise! When I opened the installer, this old Windows Millenium installer came up and threw me back a couple of decades. I thought: well, they just didn't invest in updating the installer, all good. When I opened the ADE, the same type of interface opened. There is no resemblance to all the other Adobe programs I've worked with. Clearly, this is the deep dark back alley in Adobe Town. Is there any plan to bring it at least to the 21st century?

Using MacOS 10.15.5 and Kobo Aura eReader.Can't open ebooks from library using ADE.  Kobo help said to delete the book, connect eReader, open ADE, remove eReader authorization - did all this.Next step says to remove computer authorization - can't do this because I have updated my old email address and set new password with Adobe, but ADE still shows only the old email address and won't allow me to remove authorization because I don't remember the old password.  I get absolutely zero help from Adobe chat.  Hoping you can help me. PS:  Adobe chat suggested a new authorization without removing the old one but they didn't tell me how to do that and I can't get it to work.  Tried something suggested in one of these postings and that didn't work either.What gives with ADE?  Why doesn't it work anymore?  Not a great advertizement for Adobe products.

I wish to change my email address back to my main address.At the moment I'm forced by Adobe to use an out-of-use old hotmail address; as Adobe won't allow me to change it back stating that it has been used before.Yes it has, and it still is, every day; it is my email address!

Hola, tengo un problema con Adobe Digital Editions, antes accedía a mi cuenta a través de google y tenía allí mis libros, cambié a un acceso manual con el mismo usuario y mis libros han desaparecido. Tampoco puedo volver a acceder a través de google. ¿Me pueden decir cómo recuperar mis libros?. Gracias.

Hola. Tengo un Tagus Lux 2016. He activado mi Adobe ID en el dispositivo con éxito, pero al conectarlo al ordenador, ADE no reconoce ningún dispositivo, con lo cual no puedo transferir los e-books con DRM (que sí puedo leer en el ordenador). Al parecer, según se conecta el reader al ordenador y se abre ADE, debería aparecer una ventana que solicitase la autorización del dispositivo, pero no aparece nada.He seguido al pie de la letra todas las instrucciones del Manual de usuario del reader, las de Adobe, he consultado FAQS y tutoriales, he desinstalado el programa y lo he vuelto a instalar, pero ya no sé qué más hacer. ¿Alguien me puede ayudar?

Depuis quelques semaines je ne peux plus lire sur la liseuse les livres empruntés à la bibliotheque, d'abord j'ai eu le message " Votre liseuse n'est pas autorisée à ouvrir ce livre, etc....". Au début j'avais ce problème avec certains livres, mais pas tous, mais maintenant c'est tous !!. J'ai suivi la procédure de réinitialiser la liseuse, vérifier mon compte sur ADE, j'étais sur 4.5, maintenant sur 3.0J'ai retiré l'autorisation, j'ai re téléchargé ADOBE Digital Editions, j'ai de nouveau autorisé ma liseuse KOBO, j'ai retéléchargé les livres, il n'y a rien à faire cela ne fonctionne plus, mais le message a un peu changé. Maintenant C'est  : ERROR ! Check Activation ... pourtant je pense avoir faire le nécessaire en terme d'activation....Que faut-il que je fasse, quelqu'un peut-il me donner une piste.Mille merciCela faisait plusieurs années que cela fonctionnait; 

Depuis le passage de mon Mac à Catalina, je ne peux plus me servir de ma liseuse KOBO Aura H2O pour emprunter des livres électroniques à ma biblothèque publique parce que j'ai besoin de l'application Adobe Digital edition pour le faire et que cette application est disparue de mon Mac et D'App Store.  Que faire??? 

hola desde que uso el Adobe, mi computador se puso demasiado lento, he tenido que reiniciar muchas veces a causa de esta aplicacion.  Sigo dandole oportunidad, de repente no he cargado como debe ser.Saludos

I am having trouble authorizing my Kobo e-reader for Adobe Digital Editions. As a result, I am unable to drag and drop epub files from my computer to my Kobo device. I have an Adobe ID, but when I attempt to complete the authorization process for my device, I receive a message stating "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or device, Please try again."   I am not aware that I previously authorized and other computer or device. Any suggestions?
