Bonjour.Digital Editions n'a jamais fonctionné sur ma machine (Win10, Dell G5). J'ai installé la dernière version 4.5.11, et le scénario est toujours le même.L'application s'installe sans erreur sur c:\. Lorsque je lance Digital Editions, la fenêtre est complètement blanche. Quand je clique sur le menu "Lecture", la fenêtre se ferme. C'est tout ce que cette application fait.J'ai utilisé pendant des années Reader, Photoshop et Premiere, et ces logiciels sont super. Mais là, j'ai rarement vu un produit Adobe si mal fichu.Si quelqu'un me lit, merci de m'aider. Bonne journée à tous et prenez soin de vous.Mario

Hi,I am trying to authorize my laptop here to download an ebook I have recently purchased. I have installed ADE and when I double-click on the acsm file, it opens with the authorization dialogue. I select Adobe ID and fill in my login data - my email_address and password which I can use to log in to this website - and I invariably get the message "Anmelde-ID/ Kennwort für ausgewählten ebook-Anbieter ist falsch. Erneut versuchen." ("ID or passphrase wrong for selected ebook supplier. Try again.")I have tried quite a number of times now.I have no idea what could be wrong there. I can't open acsm.file by Adobe Digital Editions software, the remove that device from my Adobe ID and authorize also failed. 

Hello,I have some epub ebooks on my computer. I would like to load those books on my Kobo Clara device.I tried ADE,firstly with the last version 4.1, but my Kobo Reader told me that I am not authorized to open the book. I see it but nothing happens. On the forum someone told that it would be easier with the 3.0. I have tried with this version, it is still the same. I see my book in black but cannot open it.Other persons seem to have the same problem, but nobody from Adobe is able to help us to solve the problem. I did not find how to authorize my Kobo Reader versus ADE. Is there somewher a link to do that ?Please help if possible because now I need to get mybooks. Many ThanksMarie

Hello! I have a book I want to open that I downloaded without any authorization ID. I authorized the app without ID. So, I unauthorize it, and when I try to reauthorize it, it tells me my authorization is invalid (Activation Server error - code E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY), so I unauthorize it and then authorize it again with an Adobe ID after going into my keychain and locking it and unlocking it again. Then, it tells me that my vendor account is not associated with the item I am trying to open. However, whether I try my Adobe account, a secondary Adobe account, or authorization without an ID. So then, I try to redownload the book, and I can't open it and I get an error that states "(E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER)".

Hi. I cannot open my ADE. I have been using ADE on my desktop for the past 2 months and now it is not launching. What should I do?

I have been trying unsuccesfully to erase computer authorization for me ereader, however it was set up with an old email address that I do not use anymore and therefore dont remember password. There is no way to reset or delete any of this old info and when I contact Adobe help they are not helpful only in reseting my current password for my current email address but that is not what I need help with.  I am so frustrated. I only want to read books and now I cant. They give me this forum so hopefully someone here can help. 

Many books I read digitally have illustrations which cover both pages in an open paper book.  How do I view those "two" pages in ADE?

I've been trying to install the software on my mac, but all the links I'm finding are taking me a page that says its only supported on iPhone or iPad...can anyone send me a link to install it on my computer? Is that not an option?

Ho comprato un ebook, lo trovo nei download ma quando tento di aprirlo con Digital Editions ricevo il messagio di errore E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PIKS12. La soluzione indicata è togliere l'autorizzazione al PC e riautorizzarlo ma non posso eliminare l'autorizzazione del computer (utilizzo Windows) perché mi dice "Impossibile eliminare l'autorizzazione. Riprovare più tardi." Come si  può risolvere questo problema? Grazie

Below are the error messages ADE gave when I tried to download ebooks from my local library in the UK.  E_ADEPT_NOT_READY” or "E_ACT_NOT_READY and there was one was about license error.So any other folk have the same issues, please do this :If for some reason you cannot navigate to the activation.dat file (Mac OS X 10.7 and later), please try the following:1. Go to the Finder menu.2. Hold down the Option (Alt) key and select Go in the Finder menu bar. This reveals the hidden user Library below the current user's home directory.3. Select Library.4. Go to Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and delete the file named “activation.dat” Once this activation.dat file went into Trash, I downloaded an ebook from BorrowBox, into ADE, and then to my KOBO. Thanks to Carla who helped with all this at Brighton Digital Support. I had gone all round the houses looking for support, and it was in the end, this simple thing. Happy reading and stay well all.

Good day. Can someone please assist me on moving the rights to open ebooks after both of the 2 devices was used, but the one was done by accident. When I try and use my Adobe login in Adobe digital editions, the program crashes.

Hello, I need help re-installing my ebook. I bought the book on the 11 of September and I installed on my adobe digital. My laptop got stolen and everything was wiped including my ebook. When I try to open the book on digital edition now I'm told someone holds my license. I believe that the license allocated to my previous windows account is now blocking me from accessing my book. Whenever I try to open the downloaded file of my ebook. I get a message that reads as follows:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER"

I seem to be unable to register any new reader app with the ADE service. The authorization systematically fails. I have tried linking 3 different readers (Mantano reader on Android, Pocketbook reader on Android, Kobo Clara HD). One of them (Mantano) returned this more verbose error message : E_ID_ADEPT_ACCOUNTINFO_CONNEXION_EXCEPTION http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/GetCredentialList Readbooks http://decommissioned.adobe.com/decommissioned I can access the books I bought using previously registered software. I can even borrow books from my library. I just cannot register any new Android or Kobo readers. I tried to log in directly to https://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/en/JoinAccountLoginForm.jsp and it returned an "Unexpected error". I am 100% sure that I am using the correct email address and password, since I can connect to the Adobe portal using that same email address and password and my old Windows version of Adobe Digital Editions for Windows can c

I recently experienced a problem with my 2017 MacBook air that lead apple support to delete my existing login, therefore, removing my account which was experiencing the problem. Everything from my old account was brought over except for the e-books I purchased through my school bookstore using a one-time voucher code that allowed me to access them via adobe digital editions. Now when I log in to this new account there are no longer any textbooks on adobe digital editions. I'm sure anyone reading this could see how it's a problem which I would like to resolve as quickly as possible. I am currently without these university textbooks and was hoping to receive guidance on how I could retrieve these textbooks. 

I bought a e-book which I downloaded on my old cell phone. I opened the e-book in Aldiko reader. The app asked me to authorize my book my adding a DRM account. To do so, I had to put an AdobeID account, which I did. Then, I downloaded my book on a second device, which it is my tablet. I know that if you don't have an active subcription, you can only have your book download on two devices. Once you do that, you can only open your book in one device at a time. I bought a new cell phone. I need to desauthorize on one of my device, so I can read my book on my new device. I did many researches. It says you need a reset from Adobe ID. I go to the chat support to tell them that I need reset, and they say to come here to get that reset... which I don't where to find the person here to get my reset...  Where do I go for that reset?  

I contacted Adobe about a month ago because I couldn't connect to Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) anymore: the ID was associated with a now inactive email address (I forget to update my account) and I couldn't recover the password for the old email as I no longer have access to it (for some reason, the password was automatically reset and the code was sent to that inactive email). So the Adobe agent deauthorized the old email on which ADE was active and reativated it with my current email. I was able to successfully authorize ADE on my computer with the new Adobe ID... but when I transferred/migrated my library (didn't find any other way of doing that than by coping the "My Digital Editions" folder from old computer - Windows XP - to new one - Windows 10), I discovered that I can't read my drm-protected content (purchased ebooks) anymore! I get an Authorization Required error message stating that the file I'm trying to open isn't associated with my account. Thanks in advance for your help

I bought ebook DMR I had this on my computer without ID. I tried to pass onother computer but I the book disapeared and the error is E-LIC.ALREADY_FULLFILLED-BY_ANOTHER_USER. The bookshop sent  me another file but I still cant downlow the file and open the book.Im looking forward to hearing from you.

Hola. Tengo un problema que no se cómo resolver. He comprado un libro y cuando intento acceder al mismo me pide un ID usuario. Pongo mi cuenta de usuario, pero me dice que la licencia del documento es para otra cuenta de usuario. Los que me suministraron dicho libro no me dijeron nada de licencias, ¿qué puedo acceder al respecto? ¿es problema del libro? ¿va asociado a una cuenta que me tienen que dar los que lo vendieron?... ¿podéis ayudarme? Muchas gracias.
