Hello, I am trying to access my etext. it told me the license key was damaged so I erased authorization, but now when I try to authorize the computer it keeps telling me my user/password is wrong even though I just signed up on my email and verified it

I've had troubles with a Kobo Clara HD and received a new one but now I cannot authorise with Adobe Digital Editions.E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONSFrom the program, I've tried to contact support but after three "specialists" I get the recommendation to try this page.Why not put something on the FAQ for this? Anyway, can someone help me to resolve this issue? Kind regard,  Peter

I have been using ADE for sometime for a couple of textbooks. When I installed it a few months ago I was able to authorize my computer it with my Adobe ID and download the books.This morning, however, the software crashed. It completely locked up, and I had to kill the process in Task Manager. Now, when I open it, it says it is no longer authorized. I have tried reauthorizing with my username and password to no avail. I can confirm that the username/password IS correct. The password does not contain anything other than letters and numbers. As the ebooks are already authorized, I cannot access them until I can get ADE to accept my login.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello ! Can someone give me help ?I have recently got a Kobo Clara Reader. Previously I bought some e-books on Google Play Books. Now I would like to transfer those e-books to my Kobo Reader. I was in contact with a Technician from Google Play today who told me that Adobe Digital Editions may be the problem. I have a different e-mail address for Google and for Kobo and Adobe Digital Editions. Right now I wanted to change my ADE Address and it doesn't work. Finally I have got a lot of troubles with Adobe by changing my address and after more than 1 hour chat nobody was able to help me !

Due to ongoing hard drive errors for the past two months, I had to erase my drive and start again. I recently downloaded a ePub book to read via Adobe Digital Editions and authorized without a vendor ID. And I got this message: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER  Any idea on how to fix it?

Hi all,I try to read a ebook from a laptop that have been dowloaded and authorized from my PC.I have first dl it on pc, read it, on pc, but i have used no ID connexion because I wanted to do it later.Then I tried to do the same on laptop, but impossible to reach the authorization. From this I began to log with an ID from an adobe account, on the two machines. Since then, it's impossible to me to read again the ebook, on PC and on laptop.I had severals errors statement trying these like : ebook used by another utilisator, thing like thatand the two adobe accounts on the computers is the same What did i do to end up that bad ? if somebody can help or explain the process to read those books u save my day Thanks, i hope this is a common feature but i haven't saw any answer to this in the forum.

I have a blank screen when I open ADE. I have followed the advice about renaming the folder. It worked the first time, but then everything disappeared again and it won't work now. I can add a EPUB file and it shows but won't sync to Kobo. Then I close ADE  and reopen and it's blank again. If I try to add the EPUB again, ADE says it's already there.Currently, I use it to borrow library books (Overdrive). I can download (doesn't show), then sync and that works. But I'm now in need of being able to beta-read EPUBs, and I can't see them so I can't sync.I have uninstalled/installed. Can't find chat anymore.Also, if I click on Reading tab, it closes ADE. Version 4.5.11.187303.

I recently purchased a course pack through my college, and can't seem to open it on my Samsung Galaxy s6 Tab. It works fine on my computer, but when I download it on my tablet, it doesn't open with ADE. It says I don't have any apps that open the file. Anyone have any advice? 

Please help. I bought textbook of the site eCampus, and tried to get Digital Editions to let me authroize my computer to get my textbook. I have been unable to authorize my textbook. I have re-downloaded the program twice, once as the 3.0 version, and no luck. To make matters worse I can not access my acount that I made when I bought the textbook. I'm so frusrated and feel ripped off.

Hello, good afternoon.About 2 years ago I bought some technical guides form NACTO that can only be viewed in adobe digital editions. It is the first and only time that I have made a purchase of files of this type and now I am changing computers and I want to know if it is possible to migrate these files and use them on my new computer.Due to inexperience, even though I have an Adobe ID I did not use it to open the documents on my old computer, so now that I try to open them on my new computer with my Adobe ID it does not allow it. Is there a way to technically fix this -with your help- or should I write my case to the proprietary editors of the technical guides to send me new download links so I can use these guides on my new computer with my Adobe ID?I stay tuned, greetings and thanks in advance

I have a PC and a Macbook. I installed Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) in both and downloaded a book from google (https://books.google.com/books/about/All_of_Programming.html?id=-zViCgAAQBAJ) onto both machines. I first added the book to the PC in ADE without an Adobe ID and was able to see the book  on the PC. Then I tried to get the book on my mac but got the error in the title of this post: Unable to downloadError getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHEDTo try to solve this, I tried deauthorizing the PC but that didn't help me get the book on my macbook, and now the PC ADE gets the error message as well!So I can't see the book in any platform of ADE. All I want to do is be able to access the book offline (because google play books doesn't have any way to do this in their chrome app). But I haven't been able to do it at all with ADE. Any help is appreciated.

Digital Editions is the worst piece of software I have used in a long time. Why can't I navigate with the arrow keys? Oh maybe I'll just read a PDF version of this book instead, jk won't open in Acrobat. Maybe I can change the settings and make reading from my laptop less awful? Nope no options here. Ok ok how about zoom, surely I can zoom in while reading on my phone. Yes! I can and then I have to click "exit zoom" before I can go to the next page, else the text is too small to see. I spend as much time scrolling between pages as it takes to read each page. Are you proud of this product Adobe?

I'm having issues downloading library books onto my nook using adobe digital editions. I've tried two different nooks and multiple books. The book opens fine in adobe digital editions but won't open on either nook. At first, I was getting an error message saying I was trying to open a book that had already been returned (I wasn't, I tried this on multiple different books that I'd just downloaded). I de-authorized and re-authorized Adobe Digital Editions but I'm still getting an error message when I try to open the book on my nook only now it says "User Not Activated". I was using everything just fine a couple months ago so not sure why it's not working all of a sudden.

I got this error message: E_ACT_NOT_READYwhen trying to download an epub to digital editions. I have tried erasing my authorization but after I enter my username and password it says: Unable to erase Authorization. Please try after some time.Then I opened the digital editions folder on my mac and was looking for the activation.dat file to move to trash but it wasn't there. Any input would be extremely helpful! I have an Adobe ID and I can use it to log on my account online, but I have been trying to authorize my Adobe Digital editions with that ID and cannot do so. I downloaded this Adobe Digital Editions software from online library.

how install Adobe digital Editions on my OS Linux Ubuntu (I red only download for Mac and Windows)?

Just tried to authorize my computer, which it says to do so I can"easily transfer Adobe DRM protected items between multiple computers and mobile devices."After entering my Adobe ID and password then clicking authorize I received the message"You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile device." WHAT THE HECK! Is it me or are those two quotes diametrically opposed? How can I transfer between multiple devices if I can only authorize one? I did try Adobe support and was informed that ADE is an end of life product that they no longer support.(Screenshot attached.)
