I authorized a DRM ebook with my old ID adobe account. I'm trying to de-authorize the ID account but the only thing it de-authorizes it's the computer but not the ID.When I de-authorize the computer and try to authorize it with my new account it doesn't let me putting me the error: e_lic_already_fulfilled_by_another_user.How can I de-authorize the ID so I can authorize it with a new ID?Thanks for your help

Hi, I wanted to authorise my computer for Adobe digital editions. So I use my mailadress for Adobe and the password, but the program says I cannot use the mailadress I already used for an authorise on my computer (for Photoshop). What can I do now? I hope I don't have to create a new mailaddress...  Lisette

Why can´t I get into althe options of the Menu...?  

I'm trying to read a book I recently purchased but everyone I try to view the book an error message pops up "Error getting license.." 

Why is it that the different zoom options does not change the size of the text at all?   

It seems like if I quickly scroll through a Adobe DRM PDF file, my anti-virus program picks up a number of Stack Pivot volations.  Any ideas?

So last night I was reading a particular ebook in Adobe Digital Editions, like I have several times before witout (too much) trouble. This time however, it would open OK, but would crash everytime I tried to go beyond a certain page.So I updated the app (possibly not the newest version, but the newest that would work on my IPad iOS 9).Now everytime I try and open that particular book, the app crashes before even opening. I tried downloading the desktop version, but when I tried to copy it from my iPad and open it, I just got the error message:"error getting License. License server communication problem: E-ADEPT-DOCUMENT-TYPE_UNKNOWN:"And in the folder where the pasted version should be there's only 2KB. Anyone know how I might fix this? I hardly ever use ADE - only for this book really, and I think it's one that cannot be stored in the cloud due to the DRM. Maybe. I've tried other books in both the iPad and Windows PC apps and they worked fine, but they were not a .acsm

Hello,I've bought several books with an Adobe ID and I can't access them properly in ADE with NVDA, neither voice or braille.It ramdomly inserts spaces in text and makes it truly unpleasant and difficult to read.I even tried a regular PDF without password protection : it works perfectly in DC and horribly in ADE.Is there a way to make ADE truly compatible with this screen reader, export the PDF, create a bridge with DC ... or any workaround ?Thank you.Vivien.

With Adobe Digital Editions, I get "E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR" when trying to access PDF files, but not with EPUB files. Any ideas on what is happening and how to fix this?I've seen this question asked several times, but no answers appear on the forum.Thanks!

My ereaser worked just fine with ADE until about a week ago - I cannot open any library books I download on my ereader anymore.  I get the error message: your ereader is not authorized to open this book.  I have tried reathorizing the computer, the ereader, rebooting everything, deleting all the files associated with  the books on the computer and the reader, reinstalling the software, reinstalling lower version software, factory resetting the reader... nothing has worked.  Today, after deleting all the files, uninstalling the software, and factory resetting the reader, I reinstalled the software, reauthorized the computer, reauthorized the reader, and downloaded a brandnew book from the library... your ereader is not authorized to open this book.  Neither the kobo help, nor the adobe help could actually help.  They suggested I post here.  HELP???

Too many activations in digital editions. For the last several years the adobe support staff has fixed this problem. They apparently no longer are doing that and we are stuck with an unusable program because it is locked in the activation mode. Adobe should remove the activation requirement from the program

How can I reset my device activation counts on Digital Edtions? It says there are too many. I wanted to authorize my new iPad.

HelloI have installed adobe digital edition (ADE) to my ipad 12 latest generation. I downloaded an eBook to ADE in the ipad. Whenever I touched the icon of the eBook in the ADE application to open it, ADE collapses. I have tried to re-install ADE, re-download eBook, but all in vain. Can you help? I need to prepare class material for my teaching with this eBook. A speedy response will be highly appreciated.Thank you.

BonjourJ'ai acheté sur Google Play un livre en Pdf (donc protégé avec un DRM) que j'ai ouvert avec Adobe Digital edition, en autorisation mon ordinateur sans saisir mon ID.Puis j'ai voulu l'ouvrir sur mon 2ème PC, et je me suis aperçu (je suis novice sur Adobe Digital Edition) que je ne pouvais partager sur mes différents supports qu'en rentrant l'ID.Je suis donc retourné sur mon 1er PC, j'ai oté l'autorisation sans id pour en remettre une avec mon ID.Mais là, le bouquin ne pouvait plus être ouvert.J'ai essayé de le re-télécharger depuis google Play, et ça télécharge le fichier acsm. Quand je clique sur ce fichier acsm, Adobe DE s'ouvre et me répond que c'est impossible car il est lié désormais à un autre compte (en l'occurrence .... aucun).J'ai donc retiré l'autorisation à mon id Adobe, pour réautoriser le PC sans id, espérant retrouver le bouquin. Même message de blocageAU SECOURS! je veux retrouver ce livre que j'ai payé plus de 20 €!Merci de votre aide.Bonne soiréeLouis

Hi,On account.adobe.com, my ID and password work well. As I tried to register on ADE, I got an error that says "ID/password wrong. ebook provider wrong. Try again.". As an ID, I tried full email and just the name. I also haven´t got an email with a verification of registration. But as account.adobe.com works.. I guess, this wouldn´t be necessary. What do I do now? Problem solved!You don´t have password problems online, but with the ADE login. Take care you do not use german Umlaut letter (ä, ö, ü) or special characters. After changing the password, ADE login worked fine.

I want to Setup my EPUB file to be read via Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) where it gets downloaded as an ACSM file and then use ADE to read it. And setup DRM on the file. How can i get the ACSM file generated?

I was reading an ebook using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11. When I was returning the borrowed book, suddenly it started giving error as : Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_IO_CANNOT_OPEN.I tried uninstalling the ADE app and again reinstalling it. Would someone please guide me on how to solve this problem.  .       

I try selecting some text I want to highlight, but the cursor aims for something below what I want. Other pages in the document - it works. I have Editions 4.5.  

bonjour,depuis 3 ou 4 semaines mon adobe digital editions ne marche plus , je ne peux plus transferer mes livres numériques sur ma Kobo.je l'ai desinstallé et je l'ai rerentré 4 ou 5 fois et ca ne change rien.j'ai essayé de rentrer l'ancienne version, mais je n'y arrive pas que dois je faire merci

...not purchased on Kobo store.I can only read them on Kobo app on my smartphone.Anybody has or had the same problem?Tanks!

I can't download and open new ebooks although I can open ebooks bought previously from the some company. The books seem to be donwloaded to my digital editions but then can't be opened.
