Hi there!ADE 4.5.11 doesn't work in my laptop (windows 10). I was reading an ebook this evening, and suddenly, it freezed. Then, I tried a few times to open it again, but I couldn't do it. Also, I tried it a few times using my admin account and  reinstall it, or even deteling the files inside of “My Digital Editions”, but it doesn't work. I don't know what to do it. I have my final exam in 3 weeks, and this ebook is so important for that. Finally, sorry for my English level. Thanks a lot.¡Hola!ADE 4.5.11 no funciona en mi pc, que es un Windows 10. I've created my account and verified it but my (freshly) downloaded app says I'm unrecognised. If it isn't frustrating enough that my Uni subscribes to obscure apps to read their content, the app doesn't seem to want to be used. im assuming some form of rediculous 'necessary upgrade' fee to do anything with the text I am able to read so if you want my money, any chance you could just take a leaf out of Apples book, and make it work?

For anyone who may be experiencing this issue, hopefully I can save you hours of frustration. This afternoon I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Nook support, and we tried everything - deleting the adobe files on the nook, resetting the nook, installing and uninstalling adobe digital editions, etc. What finally worked was installing Adobe Digital Editions 2.0! So if you are getting this message and are feeling frustrated, uninstall your adobe digital editions 4.0.1 and install 2.0

I have three purchased books in Adobe Digital Editions, and they show up in the library, however I cannot access them, as each time I click on any of the three purchased books, I get a message saying "the original document file is missing". I have previously been able to open the books and read them. I really need them for my bachelor project, so kindly help me out asap. 

I am getting the following error when trying to open an eBook:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER I know that the book has not been accessed by anyone else and that I only have one AdobeID. Is there a way to troubleshoot this issue? For instance to figure out what user the file is supposedly linked to? So far the retailer has not been helpful. Thank you!

he intentado más de 10 veces, incluso con las versiones anteriores del ADE y al instalarlo se queda congelada una Splash Window que dice cargando biblioteca,,, y de ahí no paso, no encuentro la solución por ningún lado y no puedo tener acceso a los libros que compro.

Hi, I bought a drm pdf and it opens up with blank pages in my library

upon import i notice at times the pdf gets duplicated in the grid view. it seems the refresh doesnt work, nor does delete. when you delete tje message says book no longer exists but tjere is still an icon.why is tjere an icon delivered? i am using this for archive.orgbut was using ibookstje main reason for adobe was the books i am checkimg outso the free books are the ones acting buggy is adobe editions only suppoed to be for library books you rent or borrow?and ibooks or adobe reader for free books in pdf format? please let me know as it is i deleted it and will try to redownload. just for the library books i checked out,but tjese free ones i have now a corrupted clutter of books amd ghost books tjat do  not exist.sadly when i delete it cleaned the mess but refresh should have but my problem is that now all my libry books i rented are gone too! this is horrble pleasehelpthanks 

I am unable to authorize my Adobe Digital Editions with my Addobe ID.  I am getting the above error. Please help.

but when i open the menu ADE simply does not show 'devices' so I am unable to authorise the e reader. 

I have an existing Adobe ID created via Acrobat Reader. For a new training class, I have to Adobe Digital Editions; tried to login with my existing Adobe ID, but does not work. Questions 1) Adobe ID created in Reader is different from Digital Editions?2) Do I really have to create a Adobe ID to access to a file in Digital Editions?3) Any workarounds?

Hi, I purchase my ebooks from a local online store, takealot.com. I have a new laptop so I installed and authorised my Digital Editions. I purchased a new Ebook and it download to my library. But then I tried to download all my old Ebooks, because they did not automatically download when I refreshed my library. The I receive the error, "Error getting Licence. Licence Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN." I then proceeded to deauthorize and re-authorize my Digital Editions and the error continued. Does anyone know whether this is a Digital Editions error or with the online store?

Hello, I installed Adobe Digital Editions but it is not responding. The icon appears on the toolbar like any other open program, appears in task management, but does not open. I've used it before and it's always gone. I uninstalled it and installed it several times but nothing.  I have a Windows 10 system.Thank you for your help.

Salve, ho installato Adobe Digital Editions ma non risponde. Compare l'icona sulla barra degli strumenti come qualsiasi altro programma aperto, compare nella gestione delle attività, ma non si apre. L'ho usato altre volte ed è sempre andato. L'ho disinstallato e installato diverse volte ma niente.  Ho un sistema Windows10. Grazie per l'aiuto.

Hi everyone, I'm having issues with downloading eBooks into ADE on my iPhone. Has anyone else experienced this with acsm files? It's very frustrating, as this is the platform we work with.

I am borrowing an ebook to study from home at the moment because I have no access to the physical textbook. The ebook only opens with Adobe Digital Editions, and while it looks like a pdf file, I really have a horrible experience with ADE on both the Mac and my iPad.I cannot scroll through the page(s) with the app on my MacBook 2016 (macOS Catalina 10.15.4). It's incredibly slow that makes reading even one page impossible. Also, the page displayed randomly jumps around. I clicked on a specific chapter to go there, and while I'm there it randomly jumps onto the last page of the book.I tried downloading ADE app from the App Store and the book onto my iPad Mini 2. When I open the book, at first it works okay, but then it gets zoomed in and I cannot do anything to zoom out. It just freezes there until I close the app completely and restart it. Also if I zoom in to anything, I cannot zoom out anymore.Just horrible, horrible experience with ADE so far, this is why I have downloaded and delet

Tengo un E-Reader de Sony PRST3. Hay un grupo de libros que en un momento dado intento abrir y no me deja. Descargo estos libros (DRM) de mi biblioteca de Kobo y se descargan sin problemas pero cuando intento activarlos me pregunta que son libros DRM y debo meter la contraseña, así lo hago y vuelve a preguntarme la contraseña y así entra en bucle. No sé si la contraseña que pongo es la que utilizaba en su día, porque inicialmente descargue los e-books en mi mac, pero tuve que cambiar el disco duro y el SO de Snow Leopard a Gran Capitan y el Reader no me funcionaba con este software, por lo que tuve que descargar el Reader en otro ordenador con Windows y todo va bien en las descargas de nuevos e-books excepto en el grupo de e-books mencionado.¿Que es lo que puedo hacer para recuperar estos e-books?.

I updated to Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 after a gap in using this service.  When trying to open a book from the Open Library on a 2 week loan I get the error code, which reads in full: Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem. E_ACT_NOT_READY. Unfortunately, this is something way out of my field of expertise. So please be kind!

Hi,I borrowed an ePub from the library catalog a few days ago. Now I can no longer read it because Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 asks me for authorization. (I can only read the purchased books).Initially, I authorized the pc without an ID. I have no other devices, only the pc and I have the latest version of ADE. I authorized the PC without ID. I use Windows 10.I have already read without any problems two borrowed books. Then suddenly ADE no longer allowed me to finish reading the third one. While reading this last book I had already borrowed a fourth one. Maybe ADE goes crazy if I load two borrowed books at the same time?I have already tried to:1- Uninstall and reinstall ADE more times;2- Erase the authorization and authorize the computer again;3- Create an Adobe ID and use that to authorize. Result:  E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER, so I deled the account;4- Clear the cache.Can you help me, please?Monika PS: I don'

I want to download a DRM ebook from a public library to my android phone ADE (4.5.11). Then I want to connect my ebook reader with an OTG-USB ( on the go ) cable to my android phone. I would expect a similar behavior as with the procedure with my notebook (ADE recognizes the ebook reader, I can transferr ebookt from ADR to the reader). But in my android ADE the ebook reader is not recognized, so I can not transferr the ebook to the ebook reader.What can I do?
