Digital Editions

I am unable to authorize my Adobe Digital Editions with my Addobe ID.  I am getting the above error. Please help.

but when i open the menu ADE simply does not show 'devices' so I am unable to authorise the e reader. 

I have an existing Adobe ID created via Acrobat Reader. For a new training class, I have to Adobe Digital Editions; tried to login with my existing Adobe ID, but does not work. Questions 1) Adobe ID created in Reader is different from Digital Editions?2) Do I really have to create a Adobe ID to access to a file in Digital Editions?3) Any workarounds?

Hi, I purchase my ebooks from a local online store, takealot.com. I have a new laptop so I installed and authorised my Digital Editions. I purchased a new Ebook and it download to my library. But then I tried to download all my old Ebooks, because they did not automatically download when I refreshed my library. The I receive the error, "Error getting Licence. Licence Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN." I then proceeded to deauthorize and re-authorize my Digital Editions and the error continued. Does anyone know whether this is a Digital Editions error or with the online store?

Hello, I installed Adobe Digital Editions but it is not responding. The icon appears on the toolbar like any other open program, appears in task management, but does not open. I've used it before and it's always gone. I uninstalled it and installed it several times but nothing.  I have a Windows 10 system.Thank you for your help.

Salve, ho installato Adobe Digital Editions ma non risponde. Compare l'icona sulla barra degli strumenti come qualsiasi altro programma aperto, compare nella gestione delle attività, ma non si apre. L'ho usato altre volte ed è sempre andato. L'ho disinstallato e installato diverse volte ma niente.  Ho un sistema Windows10. Grazie per l'aiuto.

Hi everyone, I'm having issues with downloading eBooks into ADE on my iPhone. Has anyone else experienced this with acsm files? It's very frustrating, as this is the platform we work with.

I am borrowing an ebook to study from home at the moment because I have no access to the physical textbook. The ebook only opens with Adobe Digital Editions, and while it looks like a pdf file, I really have a horrible experience with ADE on both the Mac and my iPad.I cannot scroll through the page(s) with the app on my MacBook 2016 (macOS Catalina 10.15.4). It's incredibly slow that makes reading even one page impossible. Also, the page displayed randomly jumps around. I clicked on a specific chapter to go there, and while I'm there it randomly jumps onto the last page of the book.I tried downloading ADE app from the App Store and the book onto my iPad Mini 2. When I open the book, at first it works okay, but then it gets zoomed in and I cannot do anything to zoom out. It just freezes there until I close the app completely and restart it. Also if I zoom in to anything, I cannot zoom out anymore.Just horrible, horrible experience with ADE so far, this is why I have downloaded and delet

Tengo un E-Reader de Sony PRST3. Hay un grupo de libros que en un momento dado intento abrir y no me deja. Descargo estos libros (DRM) de mi biblioteca de Kobo y se descargan sin problemas pero cuando intento activarlos me pregunta que son libros DRM y debo meter la contraseña, así lo hago y vuelve a preguntarme la contraseña y así entra en bucle. No sé si la contraseña que pongo es la que utilizaba en su día, porque inicialmente descargue los e-books en mi mac, pero tuve que cambiar el disco duro y el SO de Snow Leopard a Gran Capitan y el Reader no me funcionaba con este software, por lo que tuve que descargar el Reader en otro ordenador con Windows y todo va bien en las descargas de nuevos e-books excepto en el grupo de e-books mencionado.¿Que es lo que puedo hacer para recuperar estos e-books?.

I updated to Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 after a gap in using this service.  When trying to open a book from the Open Library on a 2 week loan I get the error code, which reads in full: Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem. E_ACT_NOT_READY. Unfortunately, this is something way out of my field of expertise. So please be kind!

Hi,I borrowed an ePub from the library catalog a few days ago. Now I can no longer read it because Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 asks me for authorization. (I can only read the purchased books).Initially, I authorized the pc without an ID. I have no other devices, only the pc and I have the latest version of ADE. I authorized the PC without ID. I use Windows 10.I have already read without any problems two borrowed books. Then suddenly ADE no longer allowed me to finish reading the third one. While reading this last book I had already borrowed a fourth one. Maybe ADE goes crazy if I load two borrowed books at the same time?I have already tried to:1- Uninstall and reinstall ADE more times;2- Erase the authorization and authorize the computer again;3- Create an Adobe ID and use that to authorize. Result:  E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER, so I deled the account;4- Clear the cache.Can you help me, please?Monika PS: I don'

I want to download a DRM ebook from a public library to my android phone ADE (4.5.11). Then I want to connect my ebook reader with an OTG-USB ( on the go ) cable to my android phone. I would expect a similar behavior as with the procedure with my notebook (ADE recognizes the ebook reader, I can transferr ebookt from ADR to the reader). But in my android ADE the ebook reader is not recognized, so I can not transferr the ebook to the ebook reader.What can I do?

I've been using Adobe epub reader for a few weeks and suddenly, when I open it I have a tool bar and white screen.  No library or anything else.  I have unauthorized and uninstalled, reinstalled and authorized a couple of times to no avail. I am using a very old (12 years) pc laptop.  I am old and basically computer illerate  - no kids or grandkids to help - which is my way of saying I appreciate any help but if you can keep it simple please that would be great.Thank you!

I keep getting the following error when downloading a book from the library:  Adobe Acrobat Reader ould not open (book) because it is either not supported by file type or because file has been damaged.  I've tried repairing ADE, removing it and re-installing the program. Thanks' Sue

Jedoch ist das Buch jetzt nur in der App. Mir wurde gesagt ich kann sie dort, nachdem die Datei dort verifiziert wurde als ePub runterladen finde aber nirgendwo die funktion dafür. Ich wurde von allen möglichen Seiten nur auf dieses Forum hier verwiesen. Ich hoffe, hier wird mir endlich geholfen...

I had purchased an ebook from google play store, it is quite a costly one. I would like to print it so that I can read it without the laptop. Adobe Digital extension in "item.info" says no printing allowed.Is there a way to print the ebook or return it and get my cash back?If neither is possible, I would then never buy anything from Google Play StorePlease help urgently, as my requirement is urgent

Hi, I had made lot of purchases on digital editions while using my earlier laptop. But I had changed my laptop since and wondering how to get access to my old purchases to my new laptop and my android phone.  Please help. 

I have purchase the ebook from ELSEVIER on 2016, I can read through the adobe digital edition by opening the eBook until last year, but I cannot open it these days, the adobe digital edition ask me to provide the Adobe ID and password which was authorized by the supplier. I don't think I had got the Adobe ID and password when I purchased it. I e-mail ELSEVIER and ELSVIER recommand me to register an ID. The ID and password I register are not working. What should I do to solve the problem?    

I have download the ebook from Rowman and Littlefield, I cannot open it through the adobe digital edition. What should I choose for the name of the book provider?there are google, nokia, ... but there is no rowman littlefield. which should I choose?  I do have the adobe ID already, and right password.  So, would you please tell me what to do?

I closed my account in adobe becouse I couldn't verify my mail (I had no contact). So I deleted my acount and I created a new one.I de- authorised and authorised with a new ID my computer but I can't do the same with my adroid device. I download the .exe file but it is not instalizing automaticly as it used to. Any help??? Thanks !!!!
