Digital Editions

Hii friends, I purchased an ebook that requires to use on digital editions. However, the video clips from the ebook doesn't play on digital editions app. It worked before, but it stopped working after I redownloaded the app. Anybody know how I can solve this problem? Btw, I also tried to reinstall several times but still not working. 

we are at a loss.  My granddaughter borrowed a book from her college library using digital editions.  I am asuming using it as a source for a paper.  Can she link the book to him somehow?

Dear experts,when I connect my ereader (Pocketbook Touch Lux 3, i.e. model 626) via USB with my computer, ADE 4.5 (on a Mac) does not recognize my device and does not list it on the left top.When I try the same procedure with another eReader, i.e. a Tolino Vision, everything works fine and the Toline is being listet immediately as a new device.Do you know any solution?Thank you.Best regards.TanitaLiebe Experten,wenn ich meinen Pocktbook Touch Lux 3 eReader über USB mit dem Computer (iMac) verbinde, erkennt die ADE 4.5 software ihn nicht als Gerät.Wenn ich stattdessen das gleiche  mit einem Tolino Vision eReader mache, wird dieser sofort als Gerät erkannt und oben links von ADE aufgelistet.Falls jemand eine Lösung kennt - bitte ich um Hilfe und danke vielmals!LGTanita

Hi there, is there a way to solve the message E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS It occurs on my e-reader, when I try to read a DRM protected e-book on my new cellphone. Thanks. 

I use a Mac computer. I'm trying to authorize my Digital Editions and I keep getting this error. I've tried many different troubleshooting methods but the error never goes away. I tried de-authorizing my computer and authorized again using my Adobe ID. I uninstalled and then re-installed DI many times, and using the previous versions. I also deleted the "activation.dat" file located in /Library/Application Support/ Adobe/ Digital Editions and nothing happened.I also uninstalled the program and downloaded it from a different browser. Still getting the same error. VERY frustrated here, someone please help

Hello! I hope if anyone could help with this issue! I have downloaded some ebook from Google Play Book and would like to put them in my e-reader.  However, during the process, I got the below error message.  Unable to download Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED I have searched the related articles here but it seems no solutions to this issue.  I have even tried to contact Google Support Center for help (someone said they helped before) but I got a reply that I should contact Adobe instead.  Anyone could help please?  Many thanks!

I'm stuck in a roundabout. runnung on Windows 7 couldn't open ascm files on ADE, so I worked on erasing authorization, which didn't work o I followed troubleshooting for that. Still couldn't erase authorization, so I uninstalled ADE thinkng I'd be able to start anew after reinstalling, to no avail, it came back with same ID.Then I deleted my Adobe ID thinking that was the problem. So now, even if I wnated to create a new ID, my old ID is still on AED everytime I reinstall. HELP, I can't get anything onto my KOBO now.

Please sigh in with the authorized adobe ID and try again." Hey . I' m getting this error message on my Kobo reader - never had it before , and its only for one book in particular, which yes is from the library (toronto public library via Overdrive ebooks), but its absolutely not expired. i can read said book on my computer on digital editions, but not on the reader. I have done everything including authorizing deauthorizing on computer and kobo and resetting entire kobo back to 0 and back again and deleted all the books on it and deleted all the books on my computer and downloaded and reinstalled and deleted again and again and reset everything and signed in and out of everything and did everything and I guarantee my proper Adobe account is signed in and authorized on both devices.i I even tried getting digital editions

When I load ADE 4.5 it reloads books that are already in the library creating duplicates. If these are not immediately deleted from both the library and My Digital Editions they will reload next time the program is accessed causing still more duplicates. It is somewhat annoying to have to do this every time the program is accessed. At the moment it is reloading about 180 books which as far as I can tell were loaded from ACSM files. The ACSM files are no longer on my computer. Has anyone else had this problem and has any idea how to fix it?

The PDF files contain metadata which is handled by Adobe Digital Editions. Metadata is necessary because of the terms of the lending and copyright agreement.This program enforces Digital Rights Management (DRM) on the downloaded files, restricting the time period during which the ebook can be used, as well as the number of computers (Reviewbites) to which it can be transferred; there may also be restrictions on the number of pages that can be printed.

Hi, I installed Adobe Digital Editions (the current downlodable version) on a Macbook. I need to authorize an Adobe ID, but there is no Help/Authorize menu option in the window, so I cannot proceed. In fact there is no button whatsoever apart from those for adding items to the library. How can I solve this? I had no problem authorizing the same ID on Windows.

I am having an issue with downloading eBooks from my library to read on my Kobo. I download books all the time and have had no issues, this seems to have started in the last 2/3 weeks with the new OverDrive update.When borrowing 1 library eBook, I can download the book to ADE and transfer the eBook to my Kobo no problem. However, if I then decide to go back and download a 2nd book, it will download to ADE no problem, but once transferred to the Kobo, I get the error message "oops! This document...." authorization error message. If I delete (not return) both library ebooks from the ADE and then redownload and transfer them both TOGETHER, instead of individually, they both work no problem. I've tried with new and old ADE (4.5 and 3) and had the same issue. I've tried with an older Kobo Touch and a new Aura - and had the same issue. I've tried authorizing ADE with an Adobe ID and with an OverDrive account - and had the same issue. I work at a public library and am pretty used to troublesh

I am a standard user on a windows computer. My company blocked all company computers from being able to download .exe files so I was wondering if there was a .zip download?

Seit ein paar Tagen hat sich das Verhalten von ADE 4.5.10 sehr verändert. Das Öffnen eines umfangreichen Buches dauert lange (> 15 sec) und auch die Reaktion auf eine Markierung  (Ctrl m) ist ähnlich.Wenn ich ein ähnlich großes Buch (1100 Seiten) ohne Markierungen öffne, gibt es diese Verzögerungen nicht.Gibt es dafür eine Erklärung?smalllane

Last year I bought two e-book in google play store. Of course they came with DRM. I downloded them and in order to read them It was mandatory to install the ADE and authorize the computer. After few months the computer had a defect on the mother board but I removed the hard drive without problems. I bought a new computer, but I was not able to reuse the same license or even recover them from the other. Please, has somebody faced a similar problem and moved the license from one HD to another?

Hiya, I've been trying to download the Windows version of Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.10 from the official page ( Adobe Digital Editions | Download ) and no matter what browser I use, I get redirected to a blank page that throws the below error:I contacted the "Installation support" agent on chat and he informed me that he's not actually a tech support, but he's from the billing department instead, so he can't really help me and directed me to the forum...Moving on from the absurdity of that fact, I'd like someone from Adobe's tech team to actually take a look into this and let me know how can I solve that problem and get this piece of software so I can then install it and go through all those incredibly unnecessary steps so I can actually download an EBOOK I bought for 2 dollars from a website...... When I open adope digital editions, it is blank. I can use the menu buttons but I can not open anything. I can't see the buttons I should see. I add a picture of how the digital editions looks like. When I started to use it last september, it first worked fine. After about two months it just stopped working, and has been like this ever since. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, no change. I downloaded older versions, they look all right, I can add a book but I can't read it.  Any ideas what I could do? Edit. Renaming the ADE file I get it look like as it should be but when I add a book in it, it stops working. It does not respond. I can close it and reopen it but book is then gone. This happens every time.

Bonjour, impossible de lire les ebooks de bibliothèque sur une liseuse kobo. Il y a un problème de protection dans ADM. J'ai autorisé, désautorisé, réautorisé, téléchargé, effacé, retéléchargé, rien n'y fait. Le tutoriel ne sert à rien, il y a visiblement un problème technique. Adobe a-t-il l'intention de s'en préoccuper ?

I am trying to understand the relationships and differences between Adobe Digital Additions, and Overdrive. Are they competeing products? If so, what is the benefit of one over the other?If not, what are the essential differences between the two?

I try to authorize the computer in Adobe Digital Editions. When I enter my Adobe ID and my password an error message appears saying:"Incorrect ID or password for selected provider".Neither the ID nor the password is incorrect, both are well written and correct. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application.I tried to talk to the technical service (3 people) and nobody knew how to help me.
