Digital Editions

Need assistance accessing Adobe Digital Editions. Software was downloaded and installed. Adobe account was created. Unable to register using the adobe ID and password created, to access an e-book. Please advice ASAP!!!

I have an issue where when I renew library books downloaded from borrowbox and from overdrive. Despite being part way through reading a book, when I renew it, redownload it to update the due date then transfer the renewed book onto my kobo, the kobo says I'm not authorized to read the book. I then have to deauthorize my account and reauthorize it so I can continue reading. This has happened multiple times over the last few months, I'm comfortable saying every time I renew a book. Although deauthorizing and reauthorizing my account resolves the issue at the time, it's not addressing the ongoing pattern. Does anyone know how I could resolve this?

Hallo, hatte mir für die uni Adobe digitales Edition laden müssen. Hab den Laptop mit einer zufälligen id autorisiert. Die entsprechenden Dateien wurden gedownloadet und konnten auch geöffnet werden. Habe nun einen neunen Laptop und hab dort nochmal das Programm gedownloadet, allerdings nun eine Adobe Id erstellt und Laptop/Programm damit autorisiert und auch nochmal die Dateien gedownloadet. Dabei wurde mir ein lizenzfehler angezeigt, logisch weil die Dateien auf der zufälligen id und den alten Laptop autorisiert waren. Hab dann im Internet gelesen, dass man beim alten Laptop die Autorisierung löschen muss, hab ich auch getan. Dennoch wurde mir der lizenzfehler erneut angezeigt. Hab dann die Uni gebeten, mir die Datei erneut per email zu schicken, darauf bekam ich die Antwort, dass nun auf meinem uni Account die Dateien mit neuem token hochgeladen wurde. Hab also die alten Dateien auf dem neuen Laptop gelöscht und die vermeintlich neuen Dateien von der Homepage gedownloadet, denn

Ich habe auf meinen iMac mit High Sierra Adobe Digital 4.5.10 installiert, authorisiert; alles so weit in Ordnung. Beim Download eines E-books bleibt das Programm dann hängen und nichts geht mehr. Schon die Angabe im Downloadfenster ist reichlich seltsam: {Titel des Buchs} "wird erfüllt". Wenn ich versuche ein Ebook downzuloaden bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung E_Atuh_Bad_device_key_or_PKCS12. Nun habe ich versucht meine Autorisierung zu löschen, hierbei wird aber nach dem Passwort gefragt, und bei der Eingabe meines Passworts erhalte ich die FEhlermeldung Passwort falsch, dabei habe ich das in meinem Account geändert. Was kann ich tun, um an das Passwort erneut zu kommen?Monika

Hello,Yesterday evening I have installed ADE latest version on my PC and because I was in a hurry I have authorized this installation without an Adobe ID (I have authorized the computer). After authorization was successfull I have downloaded a few DRM protected books on it.This morning I have created an Adobe account (Adobe ID) and installed ADE on my Android smartphone. I have authorized my Android smartphone using the Adobe ID which I just created. Then I tried to open the same books on my smartphone. It didn't worked saying that those books were authorized on another device. I went to my PC, removed the books from ADE bookshelf, removed my PC authorization and re-authorized my PC with the new Adobe ID. The problem persisted, I still can't open those books on my smartphone. What can I do?Thank you

HelloI got an ereader for Christmas and I was able to get a book from Overdrive from my local library and I am trying to get the ACSM file to my e reader but I am getting the error message that states: I am using the same email I borrowed the book from so I am not sure how to fix this issue? 

I want to reauthorize my new computer but I can't because I have to deauthorize my old computer.  I can't deauthorize my old computer because it won't let me download Adobe Digital Editions.  How do I get around that?  

Hallo! I can't change the text size of an Adobe Digital Editions Book. I tried the AA button along the bar at the top of the screen. Nothing happens. Also tried COMMAND =, and also using three fingers on the track pad. Reading, then EPUB text size, does nothing, either. I'm using a MacBook Pro, Mojave 10.14.6. Anyone know what's going on? Is this an issue with some ADE books or all of them? (Rarely use ADE as it's worse than paper). Has Adobe made a version of ADE on which you can really change font size? Current font is too small to read without breaking my eyeballs... Thanks!  

I can only download one book then I have to use Control/Alt/Delete to close out the program.  It will not do anything after the one book and you cannot just exit the program.  Is there anything I can do to correct the problem.  I have uninstalled and installed the program several times but sill the same.  This just started in the last two months.  Any help would be surely appreciated. Hello, I purchased a book last may, when i downloaded it , i was asked to also download adobe digital to access it. I marked the book since I have been working on it a lot, so i want this version back. My computer crashed yesterday. I purchased a new one , tryed to access the book and impossible. Adobe requests a password and a usernale i do not have. the online assistant, says he cannot help since he is exclusive to subscriptions. how can i get my book with my marks back? thank you for your help 

I have authorized previous devices to my Adobe digital editions, but my last laptop crashed and so when I tried to authorize on my new laptop I keep getting an authorization server error. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and basically everything I can think of. I'm unsure how to proceed as Adobe chat sent me to billing and billing sent me here. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Seit einiger Zeit kann ich aus meiner öffentlichen Bibliothek keine Bücher mehr herunterladen. Es kommt die Fehlermeldung.E_ACT_NOT_READIch habe versucht, bei meinem Mac die Autorisierung zu löschen, was aber nicht funktioniert, es kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:Autorisierung kann nicht gelöscht werden. Versuchen Sie es später erneut.Ich habe bereits versucht die Adobe Digital Edition zu löschen und neu zu installieren (einschließlich des Adobe Digital Editions Ordners), auch dies brachte keine Lösung. Der Adobe Support über Chat ist nicht bereit mir zu helfen, da es keine Seriennummer zu "Digital Editions" gibt, was für mich unglaublich ist. Selten so einen schlechten Support erlebt. Vielleicht kann sich ein Adobe Mitarbeiter hier meines Problems annehmen?

My URL link for my ebook keeps downloading as a word document rather than opening in Adobe Digigtal Editions. How do I fix this and open my book?

Hello, I'm struggling in downloading a book I purchased to my ebook-reader (Adlibris letto). It is readable in my computer in the Digital editions, but when I try to copy it to my reader, I get an error message saying I can't copy it. Can somebody help? 

I am not able to authoize my computer so I can use adobe digital editions. How do I do this?

I have an issue with one particular book: Ducks, Newburyport by Lucy Ellmann,The book freezes up on the ereader (I have tried both a Kobo Clara HD and a Nook Glowlight 3.)I think this is because the book itself is quite unusual. 900+ pages and essentially one sentence.I assume this is causing memory issues on the standalone ereaders.  (This is confirmed by the knowledge that the Overdrive version of the book, which did have chapter breaks, worked fine on the ereader.) I am stuck because Adobe won't let me talk to support, since I am using a free product, and Google, who sold the acsm file, has tells me I have to go  to Adobe, Any suggestions on how to  get Adobe to get the book reformatted? Thanks. 

After all problems there is with ADE, the problem should be either two partsAdobe or Apple. It could be an update from Apple or something else from Adobe.I tryed to install ADE on my iphone 8, without any problem, but i can't find my books from the public library

Hey guys, so my kindle does not support Greek fonts so I needed to find a way to read ebooks written in Greek that I purchase from Greek online bookstores. After some research, I just downloaded ADE on my phone and I read them from there. I bought this book about Delphi and it has a lot of words in Ancient Greek which looks like it's not supported because they show like hieroglyphics lol. Anyway I can fix this? 

As I have a lot of books, it is time consuming to look for a book by scrolling through. Is there no search function to find a book in my Libraries?

Hi,  I search online and all the posts about this on this community but I can't get around this. So I downloaded ADE 4.5 (latest version) and I cannot Authorize my computer. (MacOS). It keep saying that Connection error : Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet. It worked on my Windows computer but I just doesn't want to work with my MacOS computer.  Here's what I did to try to resolve this :- I restarted my computer.- I reinstalled the software.- I tried with another adobe account.- I turned off my firewall.- I used my personal hotspot (so that my network doesn't block it). and nothing worked. I am out of ressources here. Anything else I should try. 

I bought books that displayed very well on ADE until recently. I get the following error message:am unable to open any books in ADE 4.5.10. Get error message: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READYI am unable to de-authorise and erase my account to re-authorise it. It seems as if I can type in any password that will take me to the erase page. Thereafter I get the message that it is not possible now, try later.I use a Macbook Pro with Mojave.  

Was able to authorize my computer for a Play I purchased Adobe Digital Editions. I then downloaded the ADE app to my Galaxy 7 device and authorized it. But the play is not showing up in my library (even though the "Getting Started ..." Adobe welcome book is there.
