Digital Editions

I've got a fixed-layout epub that displays without problems on my iMac and MacBook Air, using either of ADE or Apple Books. But when I test on a Samsung Android tablet, ADE screws up. Many of the images are only partially rendered, making the book unusable.Are there documented limitations that might explain what I'm experiencing?

I downloaded the newest adobe digital editions. I was using an older one that stopped working. Now I get an error of check activation. When I try to deactivate this edition I get the error Can't deactivate try again in some time. Nothing is working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Adobe Digital Editions app on my iphone.  But under purchased books, or anything else, it doesn't have the ebook i bought earlier this year. I could read on my phone a couple of months ago. And on my PC it has the book under purchased items, but I don't want to be dragging my PC around every time I need to refer to the book or if I am on holiday.Adobe's customer support is hopeless.  I spent an hour on the phone to someone who said he wasn't trained and just directed me in circles or to things that didn't help, and they don't answer their live chat messages.  He also claimed they have a new well-trained team dealing with Adobe Digital Editions customer queries but there is no phone number for them!

I have a upgraded windows 7 to windows 10.  Now I have to install the ADE so that I can download books from the library for my Kobo Ereader.  How to I get the correct version of ADE to install?

I have a kobo h20 ed1.  Trying to get a book from the public library onto the ereader. I can read it off my computer, but it says it isn't authorized on her kobo ereader.I've deauthorized the computer and reauthorized it. It says the ereader is authorized, so why can I not read the book on the ereader?

I purchased my textbook on my PC [Windows] and connected it to Adobe Digital Editions and authorized my computer. Today, when I went on my Macbook, the book does not show up (I authorized my account on my Macbook too). The file began to download however it is all blank pages so I deleted it from the documents folder. I do not know what to do from here.This issue is currently on my Macbook.

I have a Sony ereader and use Kobo to purchase and I download the ebooks using Adobe Digital Editions.  It has all been working fine for years.  In recent weeks I have purchased 2 e-books on different occasions where there is an error message (see title of discussion).  I have tried everything - uninstalled and reinstalled digital editions, tried the Adobe contact help desk (via desktop chat) with no resolution, I also tried Kobo who couldn't help and simply refunded my money and removed the ebooks from my library.  But,  I really want to read the books.  Can anyone offer a solution.  There must be something relatively simple that I'm either doing or not doing.  I'm not a computer whiz by any means and probably won't be able to do any coding stuff.  But I'd still appreciate any info.  TIA. 

I am trying to move downloaded library ebooks onto my Kobo.  When I attempt to open them in ADE 4.5, I receive this error: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READY Researching this error tells me that I should try to erase authorization and then re-authorize.  I've even updated my password recently to ensure I'm using the correct one.  However, when I click "erase authorization" and go through the prompts, I get this error: Unable to Erase Authorization.  Please try after some time. Steps I've tried so far - uninstalling and reinstalling ADE 4.5 (I've done this 3 times), changing my Adobe account password (I've done this once), attempting to Erase Authorization (I've done this probably 15 times over the course of two days). Can someone help?!

I have been using Adobe Digital Editions to upload ePUB versions of borrowed library books from OverDrive. A few days ago I attempted to upload a newly borrowed ePUB book on to my Nook and it wouldn't open on the Nook. I can read in on the PC, not the nook.I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE, I have unauthorized my nook and my PC and reauthorized the devices to no avail. I have returned the books to the library and I have borrowed them again. I downloaded the new versions and I still see multiple versions of the book and not one of them opens on the Nook. Hello,Since the last time I used Adobe Digital Editions (ADE), I changed the email address associated with my ADOBE account. Since I don't have the password anymore, I can not change it in ADE. When I try to change my password, the only option was via email, but the account no longer exists. What can I do? Thank you for your help. .

Adobe Digital Editions keeps showing errors when I try to load any GooglePlay or Kobo  ebooks.I have deauthorized and reauthorized, uninstalled and reinstalled, I have also done the regedit delete of the ADEPT.Nothing is working.. I'm forced to stop buying ebooks.Oddly I can open Local Library OverDrive books.Issue began yesterday July 31, 2019I keep getting a variety of errors Error getting License. I have downloaded the latest Adobe Digital Editions on a brand new Windows 10 Lenovo laptop.  I cannot download books from the library any more since I have the new program and a new laptop.  My old laptop literally died so I can't go back and use it.  The actual error I get is as follows:Unable to downloadError getting license.  License Server Communication Problem:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12Does anyone know how to fix this problem?  I can't reach anyone at Adobe in person to get any assistance with this problem and it's driving me crazy!!!

ADE works not as usual. When I open a ACSM-file with ADE I receive de message that there are communicationproblems with the license-server. This is new. In the past it worked very well!

My digital editions programme has stopped working from one day to another. This morning I could open it, even if it did not send books to my tagus device. Last time I tried it did not even open, and it continues like that. I have tried to check problems on line, then I have downloaded and reinstalled the programme but it just does not work. Hallo,ich habe das Adobe Digital Edition Programm auf verschiedenen Rechnern installiert, aber ich habe bemerkt, dass er nicht alle neu hinzugefügten Bücher auf allen Rechnern automatisch aktualisiert. Woran könnte das liegen?

I can no longer transfer books from by library site, ebooks, to Adobe Digital 3.0 and the books that were in Adobe will not drag and drop to my Kobo Glo. I have reactivated my Kobo so all is well there and have uninstalled Adobe Digital three times to activate the authorization but each time it loads already authorized but will not accept any ebooks. The choice to deauthorize under the help is greyed out and will not open. I have just spent almost and hour on with your chat help and they have referred me to this link. How soon will I be helped????C. Wild
