Hi,I downloaded ADE and tried to download a book I previously purchased authorizing my computer without any id. When the book download finished ADE was throwing this error: E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_OPEN_ERROR.I thought it was a problem about not using an adobe id so I just deauthorized the computer and added a new authorization with my adobe id. Then tried to open again the acsm file to downloaded the ebook and I get next error now:Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERAny help please? Adobe seems to not have any contact support for this. Seems I payed for a book I will not be able to read? Good Afternoon Everybody,So I have been having issues with several user now. When user combined PDF's they get the below error:What I did, I got the word and excel docs, convert them myself and they still come out like the picture above. The document above, was a new document copied from the PDF and on my end it worked fine but the accounting user saw the above document.Version of Adobe is 18.011.20063 which is the latest one.Anybody have an idea as to why it could happen?Thanks,

Hallo,das Problem scheint bekannt zu sein, vielleicht hat inzwischen jemand eine Lösung: Wenn ich Seiten aus einer acsm-Datei ausdrucke, wird im Ausdruck ein Teil der Seite unten abgeschnitten. Formatänderungen und manuelle Skalierung änder nichts an dem Problem (die unvollständige Seite wird nur kleiner ausgedruckt). Die ADE Version ist 4.5.8. Hat jemand das Problem gelöst?Danke.Andrea

Hi there,I think my problem is common.I  tried to transfer books between two devices.  Because I don't remember any IDs I couldn't open some of the purchased books on the second device.After I returned to my first device the same books were also "broken".  I couldn't restore them.  I think I have different books with different "users".I have no clue how to restore them.What can I do?Many thanks

Hi there,I am trying to share my resources with colleagues.I have put all of my edocuments etc, onto a shared location on the network.  Permissions are valid and everyone can view/access these files using Windows Explorer.That's both for security and sharing permissions.When I install the Adobe DIgital Editions on multiple machines, I cannot use the same account to authorise these devices because the "account has already been used"If I try to access the files without authorising the computer, I am unable to access the files either as they seem to be locked to the one account.I am currently using a 365 in cloud account created by my organisation.Do I need a different type of account in order for this to work?Would appreciate your help and suggestions.Thanks

Dear Community,a download error keeps on bothering me. I have an account with a smaller German ebook vendor site (eBook.de). I purchased just one ebook which I was able to download after purchase some two years ago. It is downloaded to my older tolino ebook reader. The ebook is DRM-protected.Recently, I got myself a new reader and linked it to my accounts, in particular with my ADE account. Additionally, I am running ADE on my lap- and desktop (Macs). However, the download to ADE on these devices keeps on failing:Unable to download Error getting License. Hey everyone,I downloaded a textbook onto my laptop before I bought a new iPad. I need to put it on my iPad as I travel with that more frequently and they typical way of transferring the file (connecting my iPad to my laptop and transferring that way) will not work. Can someone please help me

I need to authorise my account on a laptop that was previously used by another member of staff. Currently, it is authorised to her account and requires her password to erase the authorisation but I do not have access to this. Is there a way i can get around this?

I want to read ePub files from my library in ADE.I download eBooks from the neighborhood library using my library card number as the ID.The ePub comes first as an ascm file. It defaults to OverDrive, another reading app.I can't change the program that opens it. ADE doesn't appear, even though I have the program.When I open ADE and try to adjust the authorization, it only gives me the option to enter my Adobe ID or cancel my authorization and lose previous ePubs. Since the e-license is through my local library card, I want to add that option. I don't want to erase the Adobe ID authorization. I have downloaded a PDF version of an ebook from EBSCO.  While the menu contains both copy and print, those features are not highlighted as been active.  How do I gain the ability to copy and or print pages.  The ebook that I am working with indicated I could copy up to 100 pages.

I have a new computer, and have downloaded and authorised the PC for ADE.However, I cannot authorise the e-reader, and when I right click on the spanner icon to do this either the software crashes, or all options to authorise are greyed out.  I have un-installed, then re-installed, re-authorised and restarted my PC.  Still the same issue.How can I authorise the reader?Thanks

I have authorised the computer and am able to read epub and pdf files.When I try to open a document with the .acsm extension I get the following error message:Connection Error DetectedDigital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Hi allI have reinstalled Windows on my Office PC and I am stuck with ADE.I have ebooks that were purchased with two different Adobe accounts. I used to be able to authorize ADE with two accounts and then simply switch between the two accounts using Help/Authorization Information. Now when I authorize ADE with one account, it does not seem to be possible to authorize with a second account, except if I completely delete the first account. In Help/Authorization Information only one account is shown, no matter what I do.Am I missing something here?

ADE worked without fail from Dec last year until Jun this year. I was able to download from my local library and transfer the books to the Kobo Aurora Edition 2. then it stopped responding and froze up when I opened the app and connected the Kobo. I did the factory reset, the un- and re-authorization of computer and Kobo, uninstall ADE and reinstall. NOTHING worked. When I opened the app up after many tries, the bookshelfs had disappeared.Finally I installed it on a different computer and it showed up the way it is suppose to look and responded just the way it was suppose to and then, the bookshelfs disappeared mid download.We can't use the Kobo and I have no idea what else to do.HELP, please!Ines

I can download ADE 4.5 to Windows 10 but it will not activate from the Help menu. I presume I have omitted something or done something stupid. Can anyone help? Thank you.

I have reached the activation limit and I cannot deauthorise any computer because the system refuses to allow me to, can I please get my activation count reset?

I am trying to add library books to my Nook. I've authorize my Nook and transferred library books over to it via ADE (ADE was authorized, just not with my Adobe ID). When I try to open my books on the Nook, it says "Error opening book: This book is not activated for current ADE user." So I went back to my ADE and went to authorize it with my Adobe ID and I am unable to. The message says "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again." Any help would be appreciate.
