Digital Editions

I have created an Adobe account and when I went to download to Digital edition, I accidently clicked to authorise without account. How do I reverse this. Also, I cannot download from Digital Edition to my Kobo.

I received the error E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS, or run out of activations, contact us to have the activation count reset.

HiI have recently downloaded an eBook onto my laptop, but now when I use Adobe Digital Editions on my phone or my tablet that eBook is not showing on either of those two devices. I have authorised my laptop, phone and tablet all with the same Adobe account, but for some reason this eBook is not showing on my phone or my tablet. I have also updated my Adobe Digital Editions on all my devices so that I have the latest version on each device, but this didn't seem to solve the problem. If anyone has any possible suggestions of how I can get the eBook to show on my phone and my tablet I would greatly appreciate any advice.

I am looking for the right software package to write an ebook with embedded videos. I will be writing repair manuals and then putting them on a customer portal. So after trying to speak to Adobe I have been left with little clear guidance from their various teams. I spent over two hours on the chat system without speaking to anyone with an iota of knowledge or comprehension of what I needed. I emailed ebooks@adobe.com twice and no joy there either, they have not had the decency to reply. I am hoping that someone here can help. Otherwise I will have to go elsewhere. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

I cannot add books from the library from Digital Editions to the KOB. I was using this fine last week. reinstalled and reauthorized. it now says copy not allowed". before it was refusing to open the books on my Kobo.L

I'm needing assistance in resetting the authorizations that are connected to my account, and have read that 24x7 chat is the way to go.However, they're being rather unhelpful in the matter.Can I please get somebody from the adobe support team to reset the authorizations done by this account for Adobe Digital Editions?Or does anybody from the community have any recommendations, bar biting the bullet and just making a new throwaway email and just doing that instead.

Hello I've got a Problem with my Tolino Vision 4HD.I'm using a MacBook Pro, Adobe Digital Editions version 4.8.5 and a Tolino Vision 4HD; Everything with the newest software.Today I've purchased an E-Book on orellfuessli.ch. My Orellfuessliaccount is logged in on my Tolino and usually, the newly purchased E-Books appear in the Tolino library after syncing and I'm able to download them directly on the device and read them.Now, the book I've purchased today appears but cannot be downloadet, it demands an authorisation with an Adobe ID. I've never before used my Adobe ID for my Tolino or orellfuessli.ch.I logged in my only Adobe ID on my Tolino but the book was still not to be downloadet and told me I've got the wrong Adobe ID.So i changed to my Macbook and downloadet ADE over adobe. I logged in with my Adobe ID, authorized my Laptop and my Tolino over ADE and demandet a downloadlink for my book over orellfuessli. The downloadet file is an .acsm file. All menu items, including authorize and erase authorization, and functions like select and copy, are grayed out. The only function that works is "find." Any thoughts on how to activate these tools/functions.

I'd like your support with the following issue: I had to change my computer and now that I installed Adobe Digital Editions, I have the following error and I can't open any of my ebooks."You have reached the maximum number of devices allowed by your ID. This computer can't be authorized with your ID because it has reached the maximum number of computers of devices that are allowed with the same ID."How can I solved this issue? I guess there is a way to deactivate some of the devices already authorized, but don't know how because in my account I haven't purchased any software.

When I download an ePub file off of the library and it is in ADE, I cannot transfer it to my nook without ADE crashing. It freezes when the "copying" window pops up. What do i do

I updated my Digital Editions software yesterday and now when I download a book from my library (OverDrive) it opens fine on my computer, but when I try to transfer the book to my Nook I get the error message "Loan Token Not Found" .  I have never had any problem transferring library books to my Nook before I updated the Digital Editions software.

I have Windows 10 and just changed from ADE 3.0 to 4.5.3.  Have not had any problem downloading library books to ADE and then to my NOOK until now.  When I try to download a new  EPUB book, clicking the download button brings up the ADE startup screen with the question..do you want this program to make changes to your computer...clicking yes, the app downloads again and then opens showing only the library books I had previously borrowed and am reading. The new book will not download.  If I click no, the message "installer requires administrative access, aborting". Have removed and reinstalled ADE several times.   My desktop is registered and I have erased and reauthorized it several times too.  I even tried going back to ADE 3.0 but that didn't work either.  Please help!  Carolyn
