Oder wie soll das funktionieren? Ich habe Adobe Digital Editions auf meinem PC installiert und autorisiert und ebenso auf meinem Tablet. Außerdem habe ich zwei eBooks in meine Bibliothek auf dem PC heruntergeladen. Sie erscheinen aber nicht in der Bibliothek auf meinem Tablet.Also, was ist zu tun?

All menu items, including authorize and erase authorization, and functions like select and copy, are grayed out. The only function that works is "find." Any thoughts on how to activate these tools/functions.

I'd like your support with the following issue: I had to change my computer and now that I installed Adobe Digital Editions, I have the following error and I can't open any of my ebooks."You have reached the maximum number of devices allowed by your ID. This computer can't be authorized with your ID because it has reached the maximum number of computers of devices that are allowed with the same ID."How can I solved this issue? I guess there is a way to deactivate some of the devices already authorized, but don't know how because in my account I haven't purchased any software.

When I download an ePub file off of the library and it is in ADE, I cannot transfer it to my nook without ADE crashing. It freezes when the "copying" window pops up. What do i do

I updated my Digital Editions software yesterday and now when I download a book from my library (OverDrive) it opens fine on my computer, but when I try to transfer the book to my Nook I get the error message "Loan Token Not Found" .  I have never had any problem transferring library books to my Nook before I updated the Digital Editions software.

I need to reset my Adobe Count Because the "E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS" Error. As it is said here E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS error in Adobe Digital Editions The error should be solved through this via. I contacted by chat but the problem has not beed resolved.Thanks

I have Windows 10 and just changed from ADE 3.0 to 4.5.3.  Have not had any problem downloading library books to ADE and then to my NOOK until now.  When I try to download a new  EPUB book, clicking the download button brings up the ADE startup screen with the question..do you want this program to make changes to your computer...clicking yes, the app downloads again and then opens showing only the library books I had previously borrowed and am reading. The new book will not download.  If I click no, the message "installer requires administrative access, aborting". Have removed and reinstalled ADE several times.   My desktop is registered and I have erased and reauthorized it several times too.  I even tried going back to ADE 3.0 but that didn't work either.  Please help!  Carolyn

[Moderator moved from The Lounge to Adobe Digital Editions.]I am trying to erase my ADE authorization and I'm prompted for a password.  The password I truly thought it was isn't working. How can I have this reset?  I've reset my ADE password online and it isn't tied to the application itself on my computer, as the new password doesn't work either.

In the last few days I have been unable to open ADE. It begins the process with the icon and then simply disappears without any error message. I have a virus program (Norton) so shouldn't have a virus. Hopefully. If I can't open ADE I can't download new books. I tried to download a previous version of ADE thinking it might help and can't do that either.

In order to unauthorised my ADE I am asked for my password that I lost. My problem is that the email address I see on the screen is doesn't exist anymore.In my account I updated my identification codes and names but I try to unautorised my ADE they still get that old email address and asking for the related pass word, What would be a solution for that problem?

Hello Adobe,How can it happen that suddenly all my annotations and bookmarks are gone after my iPad went into sleep modus? I put the iPad for a few minutes down when the Digital Editions App was open and when I picked the iPad up again everything was gone!!How can this happen?? Where are all the annotations saved? Obviously not in the designated CloudSync/ Tags Folder.What kind of program is this? The Adobe Reader works perfectly well and saves all the annotations and bookmarks.What is the problem of the Adobe Digital Editions App? Please help me get my work back and let me know where my Annotations and Bookmarks are!!

I am running ADE on Windows 10, but can no longer download books.  The authorization is from an old email account that is no longer active and the password is lost.  I have tried to deauthorize by deleting the adept registry key with no success.  I have also tried removing and reinstalling the ADE program.  In both cases the key reappears and the program remains authorized to the old Adobe ID.  How do I clear this authorization so that I can use a new Adobe ID?
