Not sure what to try. The electronic books I have access to have been given to me through links that was from a testing company.

it will not let me download an ebook from first to read because it says it is being used by another user and it is me i just use 1 pc can you solve help

I'm trying to help a visually impaired student who is trying to use voiceover to read ebooks from her university library. she is using an iPad and they only download to be read in Adobe Digital Reader. She has been unable to activate any sort of voiceover function. Is there any help documentation available, or can some please please let us how to get around this issue. Thanks

Running Windows 10 (up to date)Reader Kobo aura (new)Library in UK Norfolk Digital LibraryI have uninstalled Adobe Digital Editions, then installed the latest offering of Adobe Digital Editions.I have authorised my PC with my Adobe identity.I have connected my Kobo aura e-reader and authorised it with the same Adobe identity.I have downloaded a book from Norfolk Digital Library: this book appears in Adobe Digital Editions.I have copied the same book to my Kobo aura.When I disconnect the Kobo aura from the PC (properly) and try to open the book on the Kobo aura, I get an error message that the eReader is not authorized to open the book.Help, please.Adobe help is beyond useless, sending me in circles without ever getting close to a chat session. This is just a rant, but any advice in dealing with Adobe would also be welcome.

Hi,I had problems during activation process of Adobe Digital Edition after purchasing DRM ebooks and have had to reinstall the program several times.So, finaly I was able to authorize one of my computers for reading those docuemnts, but following message is coming up now when trying to authorize my laptop:"E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS http:\\adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/Activate 3:6003:6003 urn:uuid:8de1d0ea-ba6a-4297-9961-c4b6528a9cea"After a first chat on 03.NOV.2009 looking for assistance, I was just forwarded to call the Technical Support.And after my call on 04.NOV.2009 to the Technical Support, I was informed about escalation and was just placed to wait for their contact and final solution.But unfortunately, then I was informed on 17.NOV.2009 about this new procedure to get a solution.As far as I have learned, an activation reset of my Adobe's account would be necessary to resolve this program failure.For your reference, my laptop is a HP Pavillion dv2000 and the Norton Internet Sec

Hello,A few months ago,I have bought a Kobo Aura One for my wife. To allow me the possibility of buying E-Books on multipled E-books shops, I have installed ADE. Everything worked fine. Yesterday, I bought a second Kobo Aura One for myself. There were no problems to load the E-Books that I already had in my Kobo Account, as this doen't involve ADE.But when I asked ADE to autorise this second Kobo Aura one, I got the error message E-ADEPT-USER-UNKNOWN.Thank you to everybody who could help.Fredi

Hi - I installed the Digital Editions for Mac and when I installed, I didn't log in with an Adobe ID and just "authorized this computer" only. Now, I would like to log in with my Adobe ID on it, but the "Authorize" and "Deauthorize" options under "Tools" are grayed out. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it did not work, as it still remembered my computer and did not give me the option to log in with my Adobe ID. Thanks!

Since installing the 4.5.8 version none of the 120 books in my library are available.  If I try to open a book I get a message indicating the book cannot be opened due to errors, subsequently a large exclamation point is placed on the thumbnail of the book cover.  The program worked just fine prior to installing the new version.  Help!

Can't get rid of this error, ebooks purchased in Jan 2018 & downloading in Jun 2018. What is the solution ?

Je l'ai désinstallé pour installer la dernière version sans succès.Lorsque je lance le logiciel, on le voit dans le gestionnaire de tâches, mais il disparaît assez rapidement.Quelqu'un aurait-il une solution ?Merci d'avance

I use a MAC and for some reason am getting this error message when I try to download books from the library?

I can't find the answer on these forums.  My ADE is recognizing my nook.  I could transfer borrowed library books to my nook in ADE.  I could see the book in my documents on my nook.  However, when I try to open the file it says "user not activated".  I know that my nook is activated and I know that ADE is authorized so someone PLEASE tell me what I am doing wrong before I commit myself into a mental institution.  I'm seriously contemplating returning this stupid thing.

Das Herunterladen von Ebooks (DRM geschützt) funktioniert nicht, das Laden wird nicht gestartet. In Foren wird vorgeschlagen, den PC zu deautorisieren, und dann wieder zu autorisieren. Die Deautorisation wird durch ADE (Adobe Digital Editions) wird wird mit dem Hinweise"Später erneut versuchen" abgelehnt. Später geht es auch nicht. Jemand schon Erfahrungen damit? Lösungen?Danke für jede Hilfe.Download of Ebooks (DRM protected) doesn't work, download is not getting startet. In Chats you can find  advise to deauthorize the PC and authorize it again. ADE doesn't allow Deathorization by displaying the hint "Try again later".Later does not work either. Who experienced this bug?Any suggestions?Thanks for any help.

I’m running latest OS High Sierra on a Mac laptop.  Multiple re-installs of ADE (and Cloud Reader, too, since my local library acct. # shows up in a dialog box), and attempts to follow Adobe directions to reauthorize, etc.  And I’ve done this directive (multiple times):quit Adobe Digital Editions.    Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.    If you are using 10.7, see https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html    Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize. Why is Adobe Digital Editions crashing whenever I connect my Nook Simple Touch ereader?  I am unable to transfer Library books to my Nook because of this issue or move borrowed books from my Nook.

i tried to download a file and it’s saying Unable to download. Error getting license server communication problem:  E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER. It is a book from First to Read. I originally downloaded to my overdrive app but it wouldnt let me open the file. So I downloaded digital editions. But I can’t download the book.

Teach me how to apply as a vendor, I want to sell ebooks and use ADE as a reader.

I recently downloaded Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 for Windows 7. I would like all .epub files to be opened with ADE. I've gone through the Default program routine for associating a file type to a program. When I select ADE 3.0 in the change program routine, it dose not appear in the "open with" window. (ADE 3 is the default program for .acsm extensions however.)  How can I get Windows to accept ADE 3 for .epub files?
