Digital Editions

Buongiorno !! Ho installato Adobe digital edition per poter leggere alcuni ebook acquistati online. L'applicazione funzionava correttamente fino a quando a seguito di un ripristino necessario del pc, è stata eliminata. Alla successiva reistallazione di Adobe, nonostante i libri acquistati si vedano correttamente all'interno della libreria, mi viene contestato un problema di licenza e non mi viene quindi concesso di accedere al contenuto degli ebook, nonostante abbia più volte provato ad inserire le credenziali corrette. Qualcuno mi potrebbe essere d'aiuto ? Grazie

I know there are similar issues posted out there, but the Digital Edition 4.5.8 on Windows 10 version 1709 keeps crashing.  I started with the available edition in the fall of 2016,  The system worked fine but started having issues though recent updates including 4.5.8.  I have uninstalled it several times and continued to try to get it to run again.  I know that 4.5.8 was supposed to fix security issues, but after I down load my epubs the system just crashed and won't let me exit out.  When downloading the epub or PDF they don't show up, and then the system freezes.  I have to start task manager to get the program to close, and when restarted it just sits there empty.  what is the fix for this, this is ridiculous.  All of the epubs that I have purchased have been through google books or from my university.  This is a significant problem and fixed, does anyone have any ideas outside what is listed in the currently asked questions to fix the

Hello Adobe,Is there a function to give ebook as a present because when i bought the ebook i had to use digital editions to get the acual ebook, but now i cant transfer them to give as present.How can i give ebooks bought as ascm files?Without needing to autorise his ereader with my adobe ID!thank you in advance

Hello, I have installed Adobe Digital EditionsI 4.5.8 but am unable to downlaod the "Prise en maind'Adobe Digital Editions(EPUB, 64 Ko)" which is nedded o convert teh files to EPUB files.  I am using Windows 10Error Message received:The requested URL /content/dam/acom/en/products/digital-editions/assets/welcome.epub was not found on this server.Could somebody help? I've just had to purchase new laptop, and have installed Adobe Digital Editions on new laptop but having trouble opening books copied to new laptop  installed on old laptop, can't remember sign on details created 6 yrs ago, had to sign in with Google account, but not recognised with Adobe ID, can old details be retrieved or is there an easier way to be able to copy, download and open books from old to new? The Google sign in doesn't let me Authorise new laptop as details don't match what was set up on old laptop.

Suddenly in the past week, I can't transfer books, either DRM or DRM-free, from my computer to ADE. Have not had this problem in the past 3 years! I'm using ADE 3.0, but I've tried installing ADE 4.5. ADE 4.5 doesn't appear to be compatible with my library's Overdrive software. I have even tried deleting a few books on my eReader and re-installing them. They appear to transfer to the eReader, but when I try to open them, I get a blank page. I'm using a KOBO Aura reader, with current firmware. Also, the books I've bought from KOBO don't exhibit this problem. It's only when I try to transfer (import) a book from ADE to the eReader that this happens!!!!

I went through all the steps - hundreds of times.  I download a book from the Public library, hook up my Kobo, move the book from ADE's Library to my Kobo - ALL AS PER INSTRUCTIONS -  I wait to make sure I'm not interrupting any download in progress.  Remove my Kobo.  Wait to make sure it loads.  The screen shows the book I downloaded as a black cover and when I open it, all I have is a blank page and the note that it is 99% read.I'm pretty sure this is an ADE problem (I have always hated Adobe and my hate grows and grows anything I have anything to do with them)Anyone have any ideas?????

When I first bought the book and was using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 everything was working perfectly, the problem for a while now is I cannot get access to my purchased book even though I still have 83 more days of access to it. I cant authorize my account on ADE,  I get this message "Too many activizations on this device". I used two different accounts, now I cant authorize neither of them.

I know that with the same ID i can have the same text in many divices. The problem is that the notes and highlights that i made in the text in my computer, they dont transfer to the same text in my Ipad. Is there any way to coordinate that? So i have all my notes and highlights regardless of which device i made them in?

When I try to open a document in Zotero, I get this message: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER. I looked on troubleshooting and it said to get permission from the vendor, but I cannot open the document to see who the vendor is. How do I resolve this issue?

HejVarför kan jag inte skriva in Adobe ID på nyinstallerat ADE på Mac. Texten i rutan i "help" är gråmarkerad. Mac är en AIR med OSX vers 10.9.5Försöker hjälpa min dotter så jag själv är inte en MAc:are.

I have a Nook GlowLight Plus and use ADE 4.5.7 and the last two library books that I have tried to put onto my Nook have given me the above Error Message. Considering the books have just been downloaded I know that they have not been returned. I've tried a few different ways to put the books on my Nook and get the same error each time. I have contacted Barnes and Noble and haven't heard back yet. I really don't want to de-register and all that jazz every time I have a library book that I want to read. Anyone have any other ideas? HelloI have purchased several ebooks in epagine.frAll of them except one have been uploaded without issue in ADE.The acsm file initiates correctly the creation of the epub. I just downloaded a new version of Adobe Digital Editions.  I also downloaded a book from the library, but when I try to drag & drop it in I get the following Message:  Unable to download Error getting License. License Service Communication Problem  E_ADEThen I tried to Authorize ADE and got a message You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Help!  I just want to be able to read the book on my Nook e reader. 

Hello, I bought an ebook in 2004 or 2005 (don't recall exactly) from FictionWise and I had the acsm file. I remember I download it with ADE when FictionWise sent the email they were going to shut down the service, and a few months later my disk died. I thought I had a copy of it somewhere, but I can't find it anymore. If I understood correctly, the acsm is only a pointer to the ebook, so I imagine the books should be still somewhere in the cloud. I installed ADE on another computer and of course I cannot find my first ebooks. Is there any way to resync the old ebooks? I used the same email address all the time. And just a note, this ebook is no more available to buy (I considered to buy it again...)Thank you in advance for your help.
