Ciao a tutti,ho ADE sul pc, sul tablet e sullo smartphone, entrambi Android.MI sono loggato con il mio AdobeID ma non mi sincronizza i libri. O meglio, provo a spiegarmi: mi sincronizza soltanto i titoli acquistati. Se ho dei pdf, che non ho acquistato, sul pc non riesco a leggerli dagli altri dispositivi...Non è che la sincronizzazione funziona solo con gli acquisti?Inoltre, ho visto che un libro, tra quelli che ho, ha il simbolo di una nuvoletta, tipo cloud, la mia domanda è: come faccio a inviare tutti gli ebook sul cloud?Grazie mille a tutti!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in May, I started school and I was given and ebook, I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions and the book from ASA2FLY, for the first 2 day I was able to look at my books, it's been giving me an error that says (Error Check Activation)I when to my director and she said to deactivate then re-activate and that should solve the problem, needless to say it didn't. So I was given another code to download my books and it keeps continuing to give me the same MSG but this time it doesn't allow me to download them and it keeps saying (error check activation)Need help ASAP!Thank you![Hi! is not a good question title, edited for question clarity and future forum search... Hello,is it possible to use ePDF's fillable features on ADE?I tried to use such a file (which works perfectly on Acrobat XI Pro) without success.My hypothesis is that "fillable" means using JavaScripts and ADE don't run JS.Is that correct?Thanks!

Hi, I bought an e-book from Adobe last year which I am no longer able to access. The email address I thought was used for my id had was not recognised.  On the advice of the Adobe help chat line, I have just set up a new Adobe account; this appears to have been set up successfully.  However, when I try to open my e-book, I get the following error message"The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again."Please can you suggest what I need to do to re-enable access to my e-book?

Hello,I work for a public library and our two main eBook platforms use ADE. A lot of my regular patrons purchased Chromebooks (mostly from the new Sony line) and it appears ADE does not currently work for Chrome OS. Are there any plans to address this? Some of them have already ditched their older PC's, so they don't have any options without buying another device.

So I purchased a digital book in February, installed it into the ADE library as soon as the dl was finished. Just now getting around to reading it and it says its authorized by a different user. Went to Adobe chat and started asking questions. They told me the forums is the only place to get an answer. Glad that guy was honest enough to say he didn't have a flipping clue. So, I am asking my community for help on this. I have tried talking to HPE and they are unresponsive towards a solution because the book was installed and "is being used" and Adobe looked into what I said about the issue and pointed me here. I could use some help getting this resolved quickly, thanks in advance. Brandon

I am having what seems to be an unsurmountable problem. I recently can’t get a license for free books I download from the University of Chicago.The error I get is: “Unable to Download Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READY”Help recommends deauthorizing and reauthorizing my computer. However, I can’t remember my password, and I originally authorized my computer with an email address that I no longer have access to, so Adobe can’t send me a message to reset my password. I can’t be the only one who has an obsolete email address and needs to reset their authorization. Any ideas?Thanks,John H. Gillette

Issues with ADE opening ascm files for ebooks. Trying to unauthorize but keep being told unable to. Deleted program and reinstalled however computer stayed authorized. Looked for activation.dat file as noted in another string but can't find that file. Running mac osx10.11. Any suggestions would be great.Thanks A

Downloaded 3 books I bought today - they downloaded to digital editions with no problem. However, when I tried to open them, or copy them to a device, it errored and wouldn't do it. The account is authorised, the device is authorised. I have tried re-downloading which has not changed the outcome. Is this a digital editions problem, or a file problem with the actual book?

Although my books used to open OK, they now refuse to do so and report 'unknown permission error'.  I think the problem may be that I changed the password on my account, and also changed it on my Adobe ID account, but I can't change it on in the Digeital editions.  Since one of the books was hugely expensive and I need it urgently, I don't want to risk losing it altogether!  I am thinking of erasing authorisation and re-authorising it with the new password, but will this mean losing the books as well.  Has anyone any ideas, please?  Is it even possible to change the authorisation?Thank you

I cannot open my books in Adobe Digital Editions. I tried to follow the steps: 'Press Cmd-Shift-D to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.'But when I do this it just says: ' Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try after some time.'I have now tried a lot of times and it still does not work. I have tried to uninstall the program and install again. It does not change anything.Please help.Maria

I have Adobe Digital edition 4.5.7 on windows 8.1X64, I was able to successfully erase the authorization, however when i tried to reauthorize i am not able to as after I click on re-authorization nothing happens.Can you please help me with it.ThanksVittori.

I have been reading a book which I bought recently for some £££ and now I can't open it anymore. the message "unable to open [name of book]" and "errors were encountered in this item" appear. I can't find any help in the troubleshooting online. Any ideas?

Meine Digital Edition verlangt nach einem Update auf 4.5.7.179634. Das Update wird aber nicht geladen, weil angeblich keine Verbindung zum Internet vorhanden ist. Das Update wird abgebrochen. Die Verbindung zum Internet ist aber vorhanden, sonst könnte ich z.B. jetzt hier im Forum nicht schreiben. Was läuft falsch?

Hi.I recently purchased an e-book which is protected by Adobe DRM (Digital Rights Management).I am using an e-reader called PocketBook touch lux 3.Firstly I cannot connect my Adobe DRM account with my e-reader. When I try to link my account, I get an error message saying: "activation was failed (E_ADEPT_NETWORK http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/ActivationServiceInfo)."Secondly I am not able to open the book. The reason is because it says I do not have a linked Adobe DRM account.I have already spoken to several agents on the chat system about this problem, but none could help me. Bonjour, voilà étant plutôt débutante dans Photoshop et ayant gardé les habitudes de mes anciens logiciels de dessin, je me retrouve confrontée à un changement qui concerne le pinceau mélangeur. Imaginons que j'ai deux couleurs dans mon dessin : du rouge et du bordeau. Je souhaite les mélanger mais.. une autre couleur se rajoute, celle qui est sélectionnée dans la palette. Imaginons que j'ai sélectionné du bleu, alors le pinceau va certes mélanger le rouge avec le bordeau, mais aussi rajouter du bleu au mélange et cela m'embête énormément. N'y a-t-il pas moyen de mélanger les couleurs sans tenir compte de la couleur sélectionnée ? Car oui je peux sélectionner par exemple du bordeau au lieu du bleu, mais alors le mélange ne sera pas équilibré, il aura une tendance sur le bordeau.. Je devrais donc chercher à chaque fois un juste milieu avec chaque couleurs que je souhaiterais mélanger, et sachant que dans la réalité mes dessins requièrent énormément de mélanges avec énormément de couleur

I get the following error message when trying to download an e-book from my library: IO Error on Network Request Event DetailsError #2038 How can I fix this? I've emptied out the 'tasks' folder in My Documents / My Digital but that didn't seem to do anything.
