Digital Editions

Very poor performance in navigating within the document even to next page. This is really taking out my time and I can not give my exam because I'm unable to complete the reading of one purchased document. Please help

I was on the chat with your support for a request about deleting my Adobe Digital Edition and they told me to write a post in the forum.In another post I can see that people get a personal message concerning this.Please contact me about deleting my Adobe Digital Edition account.I was trying to find an online account deletion feature and thereby creating an Adobe ID. Please delete the Adobe ID as well.

I'm posting this because I am furious! I just bought a new computer. ADE 4.5.6 downloads and installs just fine, it even let me authorize my computer. Now however it keeps "Not Responding" when I try to open the program or a book I got from the library. I followed advice from the forums and downloaded ADE 3, which does work, but has not had any security updates since 2014!In this day and age, computer security is a must. I feel that Adobe either needs to provide new security updates for ADE 3 or how about FIXING ADE 4.5.6 so it WORKS!And heaven forbid that you are actually allowed to speak to an actual person about this, because ADE is a free program, so nope, sorry, can't actually let you SPEAK to anyone.Very angry about this...Kelly

Error message pops up "Connection Error detected. Digital editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet." My internet connection is working.

Just downloaded and installed the ADE 4.5.4 on my Mac and also downloaded a book from ProQuest Ebook Central. As trying to open the downloaded book, this is how far I can get - An Error message like this:Error getting License. I have a problem with my account for the Adobe Digital Editions. It is for Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) for ebook-reader. I have just 1 ebook-reader (tolino). When activating on a second ebook-reader I get the messagethat the number of 6 possible devices is reached. E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS The solution from the community forum is to contact the support so that there one can reset the counter to 0. When chatting with the support he suggested to open a case here where someone will help me(means for me to reset the counter).So please reset the counter!Thanks in advance

Hi,I contributed to a textbook and was given a single use eBook copy of it as thanks. I read part of it previously, and have just gone back to read more but I get the error that my account is not associated with the item. This is the only account I have. HiMy library has opened a ebook service. I've got a BQ Classic ereader but once I've transfered the ebook to my ereader, when I try to open it, it says "The book is not readable". I follow the instructions established by the library and the manufacturer's indications, as they answered when I sent them when I discover the error. https://www.bq.com/en/support/help/650They recommended to follow exactly those instructions and in case that shouldn't work, to ask Adobe. Hello all,I recently started using my ADE software again, but I have found that the software just crashes constantly when I am trying to use it. It crashes when I download books, when I try to move the EPUB files to my reading device, and it just crashes when I literally try to view a pre-existing EPUB. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, is there any solutions to this? *My ADE is the latest version, so it isn't a lack of updates issue

Hello,In Windows 10 taskbar menu, I see the entry 'Uninstall' (alone, without more information).Checking for the source, I see that it is related to the file UNINSTALL.EXE in '"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Digital Editions 4.5"' folder.Is'nt it strange that this file is not digitally signed (All others files have a digital signature 'Adobe system incorporated') ?So now my question: Is that file really secure ?Thanks,Charles

Please someone knows how to set Adobe Digital Edition as default app to open .ePub on tablet?I have a Asus Nexus 7, Screen 1280x800 and Android 5.1.1.Interactive fixed layout ePub downloaded are opened directly with Google Play Books and interactive element are missed.On iBookstore the same file works perfectly, so I'm pretty sure the file is ok.On Android I can't open the ePub with a default app different from Play Books?Thanks in advance for your kind help.

Hi,  I have a problem with my Kobo eReader and Adobe Digital Editions.  I keep getting two messages when I attempt to download a book from my local library using their Overdrive system. Message 1 is CE_COPY__NOT_ALLOWED No permission to copy book.  Message 2 is E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS. Am I correct that every time I try to down load a book and I have to reauthorise my computer because I get a message telling me that it is not authorised to download the book I use up one of my six licences.  Any help would be appreciated.  Meanwhile how do I get the licences reset.Thanks Terry

When I try to load ADE, a square appears in the middle on both computer screens that says Adobe Digital Editions...loading library, but it never loads! I can't open ADE (been using it for years) can't do anything & there's no help anywhere! & I have books available at my library ready to download & I can't!! HELP, please!! Nancy G

Like asked in the headline.. I am new to ADE, and cannot figure out how to login in the program? I just downloaded a book, in the belief that I was logged in, because I was logged in to adobes webpage when dowloading ADE. It didn't pop op to log-in while downloading the book. In the guide in ADE it says that the login option will come op when downloading a book... So I assumed it was because I was already logged in. Though it really seems like I'm not. How can I see if I am logged in??Really hope someone can help me and that I didn't just loose the option to open my book on other devices..Thanks!Best regards Mia

I cannot transfer a book using ADE 3. from overdrive library page to Nook Light as my PC Computer does not recognize the Nook on the screen when plugged into each other. Any help?

Purchased ebook and I can only see the cover and the rest of the book is all blank pages?Searched forum and the only message was "Update IE."Solutions?????????????

I checked out an e-book from my local library (using the ADE version option). I downloaded the .acsm file. When I attempt to add the book to my PC's library or simply open from the .acsm file, I get the above error message.My library directed me to the OverDrive support folks who directed me to Adobe's support page which was singularly unhelpful. I've de-authorized and re-authorized my ADE. I can't delete and re-download the book. My library doesn't allow this format to be returned early, and I really don't want to have to wait until it expires to get it again in a different format.I am using ADE version 3.0. My OS is Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium SP1. I use Firefox 55.0.3 (32-bit).Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi! You're my only hope.
