Digital Editions

I have down loaded Adobe Digital Editions series 4.5 and 3.0, neither produce acsm files in either documents or downloads in fact the ADE files are missing orempty.I have been trying for literally weeks to obtain SEVEN books that I purchased from Kobo and they have been quite helpful in trying to resolve the problem, butthey believe the trouble to be ADE as the books do appear in my Kobo Desktop library.I have almost given up and threatened to throw the e-reader away and forget about the books that I can only read on my computer (I like t read in bed).Possibly it is something simple that I am doing wrong or maybe at 80, I'm not mentally capable any more, but I have been using an e-reader for some considerabletime without this trouble. I have looked on the Forum many times (the only form of help for ADE), but no-one seems to have the same problem of being unable toget e-books from Kobo onto ADE.Pease can someone explain (in simple terms)  how I can read my books that sit there in m

I cannot download books from my Kobo Library to Adobe Digital Editions. Keep getting error message "Check Activation" however both Kobo and Adobe are authorized to my desktop.

I'm new to Adobe Digital Edition and can't find info about this problem.I am trying to  download an ebook from a book site but when I go through all the proper steps, nothing shows up in my Library. There isn't even an error message to tell me if something was wrong.Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks.

My kindle is connected to my computer.  I see it in my files explorer but it's not showing up in ADE.  Trying to transfer some downloaded books.

How do I change the file from opening with normal PDF to ne that is compatable with Adobe digital edition. I have downloaded the app bt it is still downloading with PDF and it wont work. Thanks

I have used a new registered adobe id for my wiley book. But due to some sys issue, I cannot received the verification email via the email address for this ID. The support team helped sending many emails but none of them could be received. Because I forgot my password, I cannot use this ID anymore, and cannot read my ebook any more.Could you please help? I have registered new ID, but cannot link with previous bought books.Thanks.

My problem start with the error message : E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PPKCS12...I look here in the support page found nothing really usefull.  Elsewhere on the net I find that unconnecting the device and reconnecting could solve the problem.  All this after many days of trial.  I uninstalled the reader and now I got a new well write message saying that Digital got a error on the activation serveur.I can solve this ?

Is it possible to put the My Digital Editions folder on a drive other than C:? I haven't found any documentation on how to do this and I really don't want to put ebooks on my solid state device. That's what the second hard drive is for. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi Guys,By accident I had my old e-reader software (from sony) which was linked to my Adobe Account open the .acsm file. Unfortunately I now have a Kobo Aura 2 HD and that software could not get it onto my ereader. So after downloading ADE the .acsm file now says: E_LIC_Already_fulfilled_by_another_userWell, this is somewhat true, however, that "other user" is the the Sony software linked to my Adobe Account.How can I solve this?Thanks!Fons

Na computercrash zijn alle bestanden gelukkig bewaard gebleven. Na opnieuw installeren adobe digital editions 4.5.2 krijg ik een lege biblotheek te zien en lukt het niet meer om mijn epub-bestanden met het programma te openen of naar bibliotheek te slepen. Ik krijg de melding: kan boek niet aan de biblotheek, boek bestaat al in de biblotheek. Af en toe lukte het wel met slepen, maar na sluiten en opnieuw openen van het programma was het boek verdwenen.Joke

I am getting this error when trying to activate an ereader. I need to request a reset of the ADE activation limit. Can some please help me reset this?

I have a nook glowlight plus and I downloaded adobe digital editions to my mac so I could transfer local public library books to my nook.The books show up on my nook but when I try and open them I get an error message that says "error opening book.  This book is not activated for current ADE users".  When I contact Barns and Noble they say its an Adobe problem.  I can open the book on my computer so its not a library problem.  How can I fix this problem?Thanks so much for your helpSydney

Nadat opeens alle boeken verdwenen waren uit mijn bibliotheek, en ik ze ook niet terug kon halen (de boodschap is dat de boeken al in de bibliotheek zouden zitten) had ik na installatie van een oude versie van ADE (3.0) een klein succesje.Ik kon alle (nu ja, bijna alle) boeken weer terugzetten zonder dat de melding kwam dat die boeken er al in zouden zitten.Helaas duurde dat dus niet lang, want nadat na een herstart alles nog steeds goed leek te zijn, was na enkele uren alles toch weer weg.En kwamen ook de meldingen weer terg bij het trachten de boeken terug te zetten.Ik weet eigenlijk echt niet meer wat nog te doen is, ik heb alle versies vanaf 2.0 tot 4.5.3 geprobeerd, alle registerwaarden die verwezen naar ADE verwijderd en alles nog eens geinstalleerd, niets helpt!Wie weet DE oplossing?Met vriendelijke groet,Rob

ich benutze ADE seit langem auf meinem PC zum Lesen von E books, möchte jetzt ein smartbook zusätzlich lesen, habe dort ADE installiert und autorisiert mit den gleichen Daten wie die PC Autorisierung, aber auf dem Smartbook sind keine Ebooks aus meiner bibliothek sichtbar

de readerBij het trachten een nieuw ebook in de bibliotheek van Digital Editions te zetten zag ik tot mijn verbazing dat er geen enkel boek zichtbaar was.Bij het aansluiten van mijn KOBO reader verschenen die boeken wel na het kiezen van de reader in het keuzemenu van Digital Editions. (Links naast waar de boeken getoond worden).Ook de-installeren en opnieuw installeren van diverse versies van Digital Editions heeft niet geholpen, geen boeken zichtbaar,Ik meende toen dat opnieuw de boeken uit de map My Digital Editions (gemaakt door het programma zelf) via "Bestand, Toevoegen aan bibliotheek" de zaak weer zou verhelpen, echter kreeg ik iedere keer de melding dat dit niet ging want het boek zat al in de bibliotheek!Wie weet hiervoor een oplossing?Ik ben een beetje uitgedacht.

I have Adobe Digital Editions for eBooks.I tried to authorize an ereader app to use Adobe ID DRM.The app gave an error that said I needed to contact Adobe because I had reached my limit of authorizations.I contacted Adobe support via chat, and was told that I needed to post to this forum for help.
