Digital Editions

My nook glowlight plus wont read any more sideloaded epub books.  When it gets to the ADE id and password page it wont accept the password.  error msgs "too many activations for this account".  Cant find a next step.  What to do now?

In November last year the Adobe customer service changed the address and country of my account. Some days ago I installed Adobe Digital Editions on a new device and wanted to access my earlier purchased ebooks, which is not possible any more. I tried an Android device, both with Aldiko and ADE. After entering the credentials in Aldiko, it says "device authorized" but does not display the ebook. ADE does not download/display any ebooks.I tried a new computer (which never had ADE installed). ADE does not authorize the ebook with the error message: "The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open." At the same time, on my old computer, which had ADE installed PRIOR to the changes that Adobe made to my account, the ebooks still open - with the exact same credentials.I was in contact with the customer support chat, which ended up with them referring to the forum because they did not know what to do (other than changing the country back, which is not an

Recently we had our computer cleaned up and we lost our Adobe Digital Editions application.  I downloaded the Adobe Digital Editions 4.54 for windows from the Adobe website.  I followed all the prompts and loaded it to our computer.  I can't move or load e-books from our county library, as we did in the past, to our computer.  It appears that we lost the path from the library to our computer.  Any suggestions?  [Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from generic Cloud/Setup forum to specific Program forum... I'm not sure how many people have this problem, but I figured I might be able to get some feedback, or just offer some advice on a recent problem that is really beginning to irritate me. Before I begin, I'm using Windows 10 and the latest version of Adobe Digital Editions as of the date this was posted.I don't really have a strong opinion on how much we're allowed to zoom into a page when using the program; as long as I can see the letters from a reasonable distance and I don't have to hook my laptop up to my TV in order to be able to properly read what's in a document, I'm generally happy with what I get. There is just one tiny problem with not being able to fluidly manipulate a screen with the mouse or quickly zoom in or out of a screen with a few taps of the keyboard...proper arrow key/page key controls. For example, if I have trouble moving a page that is zoomed in with the mouse (often happens because I only have a touchpad that is slowly giving up the ghost and not an actual func

Why can not I read my ebooks? You are always asking for the DRM and giving the message "too many activations made". How can I overcome this problem? I'm trying to use Adobe Digital Edition and Bluefire Reader but an error message keeps appearing: "This application is authorised with the following user accounts:Adobe ID account #1Adobe ID account #2Adobe ID account #3This item was originally downloaded with a different user account or Adobe ID. To continue, please add that account."I've tried to deauthorise and reauthorize the accounts, and only using one at the time but it keeps popping up. These three email addresses are all I've ever had so I have no idea what the error is. Help, please!

Hi,I am looking for MSI version of Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 (or latest). I know .exe has silent switches for deployment via app deployment software. However, we need MSI only as that's our MDM deployment requirement from Intune. Fyi, we do not have a re-packager tool to capture it in MSI.It will be greatly appreciated if anyone could point me in right direction.Thanks,

Fellow Editors,Need a way to streamline our keying workflow.Currently rending/exporting clips with alpha channels in Premiere and After Effects takes too long. We need to be able to render/export in the background (through Media Encoder) so we can keep editing and hit our deadline each day; however, we can't seem to find an export setting that allows the clips to be rendered in Media Encoder with an alpha channel.Any suggestions?Working in Mac OS.Thanks,Logan

Dann alle Dateien im epub-Format importiert, noch immer alles ok.Dann die acsm-Dateien importiert - Programm ist abegstürzt.Seit dem habe ich das Programm nicht mehr zum Laufen bekommen, trotzt mehrfacher Deinstallation/Neuinstallation.Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich vorgehen kann, ggf. muss icheine Libary noch löschen oder...?Danke im Voraus!UB

Hi have authorised both laptops with my same Acrobat ID. But, I do not know how to get my book visible on the second laptop.

Using a Nook Glowlight.  I have one library book on the device that I am about to finish.  Trying to download another but the  Omni.com website says I already have 5 and am not allowed any more at one time.  I don't have any of the 5 it says I have.  Am unable to delete or return any of the 5.  Whats up???

We recently purchased E-Book from RS means data .That is copy-protected and must be downloaded and read using Adobe DigitalEditions .We already authorized the 6 computers but on the7th time we received this error message "Limit of Number of machines allowed per ID Reached,This computer cannot be authorized with your adobe ID because you have reachedthe limit number of computers that can be authorized with the same ID."My Adobe account activation has been reset by oneof the agent, as per advised I am now able to authorize and activate thecomputer device But the error message was “Incorrect Log In orPassword for the selected E-Book vendor” Also, Is it possible to increase the Quota of computersauthorization more than 6 so we can Proceed to read the E-Book . I have installed Digital Editions on my iPad and entered my id information. However, when I try to download any books that I have borrowed through my library I receive the error "Digital Editions could not connect to the Fulfillment Server. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet"I am connected to the internet but continue to receive this message. I have tried reinstalling the app and reauthorizing to no avail. I have been able to view the books on the application on my laptop successfully and download a couple of the books to the Overdrive app successfully but the one that I particularly wanted to read on my iPad is a PDF  eBook and can't be downloaded to Overdrive.Could anyone suggest a solution?

I downloaded an epub ebook from my local online library, however, when I try and open said book ADE comes up with License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY. I've checked and ADE is authorized with my adobe account and it won't let me erase the authorization to try and redo it. Not really sure what to do next.

(Adobe Fehlerursache: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER)" Das habe ich bereits getan, die beiden IDs stimmen überein.Das gleiche Problem tritt auf, wenn ich die Bücher direkt über den Browser herunterladen möchte.Wie kann ich dieses Problem beheben?

Hi,My previous laptop is dead (motherboard). As I can't restart it, I need to find a way to unauthorized it. I donwloaded an ebook via takealot. The book downloaded and I can see it on my eReader on my ipad. However, I had to update the "old" eReader to the latest version of takealot's eReader. In this process I had to change my username and password. I can still "see" the ebooks in the new ereader, but cannot open them , irrespective of what username or password i use.Unfortunatley, Takelot's customer service is pathertic and i was referred to Adobe to resolve this.Thanks

I have been using Digital Editions for over 12 months now, today I tried to return some books and received the message " unable to return PC must be authorised first"I have done nothing different, I did find a place to authorise and proceeded to do, however I still receive the error message.Any assistance? I am unable to return books to enable me to borrow more.

It seems that this is a common problem and therefore I have read and tried out all the tricks mentioned in the other discussions. Have removed the "My Digital Editions" folder from the My Documents folder, uninstalled, reinstalled etc. etc. Nothing works. I am obliged if some one can help on this topic.

Hi, I have a problem with my e-reader and need to get my DRM count reset.I cannot find a way to submit a web case or get support.

I have downloaded digital editions 3 and when i enter my ID is says that only ID can be used on a computer.I am needing help in wondering why it think my ID with email address has been used on another computer.My computer was wiped and rebooted (ages ago) but its the same computerI can't/wont be able to transfer my books until ADE is authorized with my ID.Can any one help.Thanks

Following the instructions, I connected my Kobo to my computer and opened ADE4.5. My Kobo was not identified as it should have been so I was mot able to transfer a book which I had borrowed from my county library. I have not had this problem before. Can anyone help please?

Nine "never read" docs were downloaded to ADE.  ADE placed the files in the "Recently Read" Bookshelf.  I can't find a way to move the files from the "Recently Read" Bookshelf to the "Not Read" Bookshelf.  Anyone know how to do this?
